Best Gyms with Locker Rooms With Showers near West-springfield, Massachusetts

This gym is absolutely AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and positive vibes that make you feel like part of the family. The equipment is top-notch, the facility is spotless, and the energy is just contagious! But the real star here is the tatted chick at the front desk. OMG, she is the BEST! She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported. Whether it’s helping you figure out the perfect workout plan, cheering you on during your last set, or just being there for a friendly chat, she truly makes this gym stand out. Highly recommend to anyone looking to crush their fitness goals in the most uplifting environment possible!

The West Springfield location just isn't well thought out. I love that they have a wheelchair accessible shower. The showerhead is the hose style which would probably be beneficial if it wasn't located 2 inches from the ceiling where no one in a wheelchair can reach. The handicap shower also has a burnt out lightbulb. Another shower has a shower curtain that has been clearly been dirty for quite some time. It doesn't give me the impression the bathroom area is well cared for. I noticed signs for club fit stating that members will have to purchase powerhouse memberships instead. Is club fit a secret? As soon as you enter the doors, you are greeted with a sign about the sauna being open, cool, how about including where it's located. What about Sentra MMA. Again, signs with the name but no information, how to contact Senta. I'm assuming it's located in the gym somewhere, I did ask some questions to the staff who were very helpful but sheesh. The Chicopee location is much better

The equipment is a little outdated as the gym has reached an advanced age. One time pass is ridiculously priced at around 20 dollars. I feel unsafe using some of the equipment as I might be under the risk of tetanus. Now, the history of Powerhouse Gym is very respectable but I feel like with how much they scrimp you, they could take that money and remodel the entire thing, maybe putting the old machines as antiques for the generations to come.
