It is with a very heavy heart that I write this review. I've been a member since July of 2022. Since that time, I've made best friends here, found my life partner here, and I've genuinely felt like I had a place where everyone was welcomed and belonged. I loved everything about it. However, simultaneously during that time. I've watched highly qualified coaches like Kodie, Barz, Charles, Jacob, and Lauren all get treated like they were of no significance to the very gym that needs them, by upper management. There are new coaches/front desk associates hired every other month because upper management is unwilling to adapt to change, hyper controlling, and has an intrinsic misogyny that carries out into all of his actions. He does not hire female staff and when he does, he lies and misuses them. Since I've been there, there have been at least 16 different coaches for classes. Half of the classes advertised on the window aren't even offered. Classes and coaches come and go so fast you'd think the gym was a bus station. I've watched really talented and great people get diminished in their craft because of management and then leave for something better. There was a time, I would have done anything to help this gym thrive. I would offer up my time for free to help keep the gym functioning. I cared so much about this place because of the amazing people I met through it. But all those amazing people left, including my friends that I made here. The general vibes in the gym are so toxic. Toxic masculinity and toxic femininity it runs rampant through the gym now. Over those 2.5ish years I've watched this gym crumble and my community of friends, coaches, and sense of belonging disappear with it, all after personally experiencing issues with upper management. If you'd have asked me 2 years ago if it was worth it to be in this gym, I wouldn't have hesitated a millisecond before screaming "absolutely" at you. If you ask me today, I'd tell you to try the Foundry of Lancaster, Power Level Fitness, or hell, even Crunch across the street. This gym is not what it once was, and at the rate it's going, it will never be that again.

A family environment, to say the least!! The whole family enjoys this gym in so many different ways (self defense, conditioning, strength training, martial arts) they literally offer it all, and it’s all included in the price! The coaches are top notch and care about each individual’s goals and health concerns. They have also set the standard for cleanliness! In short this gym has been the cornerstone of my family’s physical and mental health, especially in such a turbulent year. Thank you UFC for all you do for me and my family!

If you’re looking for the right motivation and classes to reach your fitness goals, UFC gym is the place to go! Not only do they provide many different classes for adult members, they also have kid’s classes that ranging from regular HIIT to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Perfect for families wanting to live and active lifestyle together or kids needing an outlet for their energy after school! The staff at UFC has been wonderful and friendly! They always make you feel welcome and applaud you for the hard-work you’re putting in! Don't forget the smoothie bar, where you can choose from many different options! & the Saunas in the locker rooms to top it all off! See ya there!

This gym is excellent! Regardless of your level of fitness, every trainer is very friendly and shows interest in you. I adore how they provide me with advice on how to maximize each workout. I've been attending for a little while now, and I've already seen a significant improvement in my physique and energy. I have been blown away by my experience at this new facility, and I am definitely satisfied so far! Steve, the manager, is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

This gym is whack. Equipment is broken / out of order all the time. Recently, BOTH leg press machines were down and when I returned a week later, were still down. (Both pictured) Shortly after, one of the leg press machines seemed to be working again (no out of order sign) so I started to use it. Turns out - it was still broken. As I was pushing off the platform, the lever slipped out of place and I flew backwards. A gym associate who saw the entire thing, looked at me, and said, "Oh, I thought that was fixed. Guess not." One of the leg extension machines has been missing a knob literally for the entire year that I've been a member. This knob is used to adjust the height of the thigh pad, so when it's not adjusted, it's extremely uncomfortable, sometimes even painful to use. Something as simple as towel dispensers don't even work. They're always busted. They just completely removed one of them one day. (Pictured) How hard is it to get a maintenance person out here to fix these? After I cancelled my membership at the beginning of April, they had the audacity to charge me for the following month AND the annual fee which was also supposed to happen in May. Unless you enjoy spending money on a gym with equipment you won't be able to use because they're always intermittently out of order or paper towel dispensers that don't dispense paper towels, please go elsewhere. P.S. Staff is usually very friendly and nice. I feel bad that they have to be ambassadors for such an abysmal gym experience. P.S.S. I can't wait for the inevitable, copy-and-paste customer relations response to this review. I wrote in multiple times BEFORE I cancelled to address my issues with the gym and never received a response.

I just witness some of the most unhinged behavior I’ve ever seen in a gym. An entire wrestling team descended upon the locker room and preceded to take over the space and fill the sauna the max and leaving sweating towels, clothing and sweat across every inch of the locker room. This wrestling team thought it was a good idea to cut weight for a match in a public gym! Just picture the most disgusting scene to witness in a locker room and this was worse. I’m absolutely done with what I have to put up with that this trash gym

This scummy gym and its staff screwed my fiancé out of $360, in a mere month. She wanted to try a personal training program, in which she told an employee named Shannon that she only sought to do it for ONE MONTH. (I explained to her how it was a scam in general, here’s why:) Once a week, she would meet with Shannon for an hour, and all this lady did was teach her how to “lift weights”. So four sessions a month, $45 per session, totaling $180. For a person to teach her how to lift weights. She and I expected MUCH more than this and are highly disappointed. But wait, that’s only half the story! Just a couple of days ago, she reached out to Shannon to remind her again that she was done, now that the month was about over. “There is a 30-day cancellation notice, like we talked about.” Never was this mentioned prior to this conversation, and never was the contract explained or available for her to read before signing. If only it didn’t cost more than $360 for a lawyer, this sorry excuse of a gym would have been sued. You mean to tell me, my fiancé would have had to start, and cancel this useless “training program” on the same day in order to only be charged for a month? Just tell us you want a one-time payment then! Don’t scam us out of another $180! Worst part is, Shannon told her she can’t meet her until the 17th, which Shannon knows is the day this renews! What a way to bend the rules to your liking! So yeah, besides that, the equipment is horrendous. There’s countless deadlift and squat machines but everything else is a one-of situation. The place requires you give them your driver’s license if you’re a guest, and the staff were gloomy every time I was there. DO NOT even give this place a shot, it’s a lost cause. Planet Fitness is way nicer, I promise you the transfer is worth it.

Definitely would not recommend this gym to anyone. I signed up just for the month while my wife was away on a vacation to try out the gym. I was never given anything to sign in to the gym but would give my name because the app never worked.. When my month was up I went into the gym to try and cancel and they do not handle any of their cancellations in person for some reason. They did provide a phone number to call. I called and it was some cheap teleprompter agency or something and it was quite the process to cancel. After a while on the phone with this service they said you needed 30 days notice to cancel the service and would have to pay all bills in that 30 day window. So in my 30 day window was the yearly fee. Apparently they made me pay my yearly fee as I was just trying to cancel my membership(which isn’t easy). This is predatory business tactics that I imagine they use to take advantage of people. The membership is cheap because they skimp on costs of other services.

Echoing what most people have said - broken equipment, no staff at desk, never stocked. I figured some of this is normal, but it wasn’t until recently I became frustrated. I had canceled membership or so I thought. I continued to get charged. I tried contacting gym by email and phone. The phone doesn’t work. I finally went in today and guess what even the staff know the phone doesn’t work. Apparently to cancel, you have to call a number and have it done that way. Would have been nice to know. Only positive is I did have a great experience with my personal trainer, Shannon. She taught me some new exercises for both endurance and strength training. I felt more tone and stronger plus she was able to improve my general perception. It’s a shame because I don’t feel the gym management or owners are doing any good by the members or workers.
