Best Gyms with Locker Rooms With Showers near Lake-stevens, Washington

Pursuit Fitness in Lake Stevens leaves a lot to be desired. The gym and bathrooms are dirty, and equipment is often scattered and out of place, making it hard to find what you need. The manager is incredibly disrespectful and lacks basic customer service skills. For the higher price compared to Planet Fitness (literally right next door), I expected better quality and cleanliness, but this gym falls short. The gym is consistently busy, making it hard to use equipment without waiting. As for the sauna, it’s a joke. It barely produces heat and feels more like a warm closet than a proper sauna due to cold air constantly leaking through the thin wood panels Harsh bright white lights make it feel like you’re more of an asylum than you are a gym. Please at a minimum explore the gym, make sure it’s what you want, then wait 2 days to think about it before you do something foolish like signing a 12 month contract with a gym you realize will never suit you (also the bathroom fan is much better at making noise than blowing air) About 15-20% of the machines are old and unserviced, which causes dangerous conditions, loud noise, and worn out parts. There is a constant high pitched ear piercing noise in the main room, every day. But hey, at least the front desk staff were nice. Save yourself the money and frustration, Planet Fitness is a much better option in every way. If you plan to respond to this review, please do so in an open minded manner, I hope this critique will help pursuit improve and potentially compete with planet fitness one day. PS: Eric if your seeing this I hope one day you can look past your fragile ego 💔 If I can save one person from coming here, my purpose is fulfilled. Also if you want to win any of their competitions, you’re going to need to glaze the gym with good reviews to wash out all the real reviews. “Written testimonial” this so called competition is nothing more than an advertising campaign. and with their entry fee, are they even giving away any money? I think not. It’s more of a glorified lottery except in this one you must say good things or be punished.

I travel a lot and use different gyms, currently live down south and use this gym when Iam in town. All the machines are newer as the gym seems to have been remodeled recently (used to work out her years ago and was much different) I love all the upgraded equipment and the way everything is set up. I can say this is my favorite gym I’ve worked out in the area. I read the negative review left a week ago and couldn’t believe it. Sounds like a promoter from planet zoo. Don’t necessarily have to get a 12 month contract, they have month to month as well. I usually get a week pass when coming to visit.

Love this place and the updates they have made to it. Very spacious so I can breathe while doing my workouts and love that they have a sauna in the locker room. The staff is amazing! Esther is my trainer who I have sessions with once a week, she believes in me when I don't and literally makes me realize how much stronger I am than I think. She is also so easy going and makes the training sessions fun, I always look forward to my sessions with her! I've had other trainers at different gyms but Esther is the best trainer yet! Thanks Pursuit Fitness for taking over this gym it was much needed, you all are amazing!

I’ve been loving this gym! Switched here from the YMCA since it’s closer to home and has good childcare. My kids enjoy the childcare and I have peace of mind while they’re there. This is my happy place. Best part of my day. Love getting an hour of me time and a chance to workout uninterrupted. The staff is so kind and friendly! Ryan helped sign me up and did my personal training and nutrition consult and was so helpful getting me set up with a plan. Whenever I walk in everyone is happy and seems genuinely thrilled to see me getting to the gym and it makes me feel supported with my fitness goals. The environment is very peaceful, clean, there’s enough equipment to go around, it’s clean, and overall a beautiful facility.

Ryan has been working with me for the better part of 9 months now and I couldn't be more pleased. He is extremely knowledgeable, super fun to work with and an excellent communicator. He knows the ins and outs of what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how to improve. Removing the TVs wasn't my personal favorite business decision but the gym is extremely clean, well kept, great machines, can't beat the 24 hour availability, and the gym culture there is extremely supportive and positive. Would highly recommend to anyone.
