I've been a member of the UFC Huntington Beach gym, and I absolutely love it! The staff is fantastic, especially Trent, who is always ready to help with any questions about the weight machines, classes, or recommending the right coach based on your needs. The front desk staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights for me is how clean the gym is, including the women's locker rooms. There are cleaning stations throughout the gym, and everyone is diligent about wiping down the machines after each use, ensuring a clean environment for the next person. The atmosphere in the gym is amazing, with a great mix of music genres played loudly to get everyone pumped up for their workouts. It's a lively and energetic place that really motivates you to push yourself. What sets this gym apart is the focus and dedication of its members. Unlike other gyms where people might treat it as a social scene or a filming set, here everyone is genuinely focused on self-care and improvement. People come to this gym to sweat, burn fat, and learn self-defense. It's an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of color, race, or gender, feels welcome. This gym has truly become my happy place, helping me focus on health and good habits. #health #goodhabits It’s definitely worth it to get the 2 year pre paid pass which I invested in for my teenage son and I.

Was self checking myself into the gym and this guy got extremely hostile out of nowhere. He didn’t let me finish sign in and pulled the clipboard from me. Got harassed and creeped out by the late night employee who started recording me while changing and getting ready in the bathroom. He then presumes to kick me out and starts yelling. Almost called the cops but spoke to the manager first. Dude is weird and will not be coming back to this gym. Be aware. His name is Bishop and works weekdays late nights. Always on his phone, TikTok, YouTube, and does nothing but sleep.

This locations is one of my favorite UFC gyms for so many reasons! Not only is it massive with tons of available equipment, but there’s food and drinks tons of assistance and staff when you need it, always free and fresh cold water as well as all of the Supplements or equipment you might need last minute. On top of that JC over and recovery always takes care of me and make sure that I am good to go after every workout! Buying the monthly recovery center package is definitely the best deal they have! Thanks to everyone on staff and DJ for helping my husband Nahun and I, yall are the best!

Great facility. Great staff. Clean and plenty of weights and machines. They have a kids club which makes it best gym in HB in my opinion.

The management at this location has been disappointing. Minsun was rude and showed little empathy towards students. When I suggested switching studios for Core Power 1 to avoid the noise from the Sculpt class, she essentially told me to find another yoga studio, saying that peace and quiet aren’t priorities here since Sculpt, with its 60 attendees, is the main revenue generator. As someone with a back injury using yoga alongside physical therapy, this was disheartening. I also learned that Core Power 1 is unpopular among many instructors and often gets canceled, which is concerning since it's the only class my body can handle. My interaction with Minsun left me with such a negative impression that I canceled my membership online the same day. For $200 a month, every student should be treated as a valued customer, not just those attending the most profitable classes.

This review is for Irie (not CorePower as a whole) - went on a Monday night when he was subbing and he was incredible - explosive energy and great spirit. I would go back to his class again. I got so sweaty I literally had to wring out my sports bra after the class - he has great form too! Music was fire - 10/10 one of the best fitness instructions I’ve ever had. As for some of the other reviews which denigrate CorePower as an institution- yes, CorePower is not real yoga. They offer intense heated workout classes (weighted cardio, etc) with some yoga poses thrown in. BUT just do your research before signing up for a class! If a more flowy practice-centered approach is your vibe, just go somewhere else! If you want to SWEAT and leave sore, come here! :)

I’m a yoga teacher and this is not yoga. It’s a gym but it’s mainly motivated by taking your money. Some of their yoga instructors have attitudes, there is no community really because so many people leave early and their classes are all the same. Don’t go here. They keep you in a loop, You can’t cancel, they auto-charge you for extra stuff. Their billing and policies are set up in a way that just keeps charging your bank and it is annoying and they will not even try to help you because ehem yoga is luxury!! Again, the attitude is not what you expect from a yoga studio. As a yoga teacher I feel embarrassed that this is what people experience. We are here to instill peace into people’s life. This is solely a business in the name of yoga. You don’t have to fall onto their little business scam or whatever they have going on. Also i don’t teach or wish to teach so I am not saying this to ruin their reputation for my own benefit. I was willing to pay because it was the closest studio to me and I needed the heated yoga class, but their way is just not right. Talking to a friend who owns a studio, he asked where I practiced and I said CP and he laughed while mentioning how he doesn’t even hire CorePower yoga teachers because they are not skilled. If you like them, find real yoga!

I've never been inside this place so I am giving it five stars based solely on the friendly yoga participants I encounter going inside for their yoga workout.

Over a month now with no heat in the main room and sculpt. All calls are fielded by the corp office and they just give you the same line, we are looking it into it. I pay for three memberships. One of the members I pulled away from another studio. So frustrating. All three of us haven’t been able to go to sculpt because it’s not heated. Low heat means everyone else’s body heat. People have jobs cant go whenever so the early classes are what works for us. I can’t cancel my membership but I will suspended all three until you figure out your studios heat. Maybe find another studio. Hate to think your studio is just trying to a buck. You over charge as is so no reason why those heaters haven’t been repaired or REPLACED. People save your money and go to a studio that actually provides the heated classes they advertise. So over this studio.

I am a new Orange County resident and my girlfriend and I tried out the gym today after walking out of Crunch. We really liked David, he was very nice and knowledgeable and the gym was filled with excellent equipment and CLEAN. However, it is a little small and my preference is for a larger, more open gym. The gym definitely felt cramped.

I’ve been coming to this gym since they’ve opened. I love this place. It feels like home when you walk in the morning. Grant is wonderful. He always greets you and is always nice. If you have any questions, he never hesitates to answer them or changing the channel on the TV lol if you’re looking for a home gym, this would be the best place. I go Monday through Friday from 530 to at least 730/8 o’clock

This fitness 19 is the best gym. Staff are very helpful bigtime. All the gym equipment is super clean. I would highly recommend this to anybody that doesn’t like big crowds, or who has anxiety. The weights are spread it out right all the equipment and spread it out right. David Deranian

Visiting from out of state on unfortunate business, I was very fortunate to happen upon this facility, which offers a day pass to non-members. Daniel was very personable and professional in explaining and extending this to me, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and friendly helpful staff. This would be my "go to" and membership location if I moved here. Well organized, clean, and laid out. Thank you!

2022 update: ever since the current management team took over, the quality and upkeep of this gym has taken a nose dive. Classes are no longer all that great. Don’t bother looking for a good Zumba class here. Again, so much went wrong with the management change after reopening from COVID. The GM is not friendly and seems lazy to me. She will be at the front desk and not even look at you or say hi. Doesn’t take ownership of mistakes. For example, there was a new fitness class schedule produced and printed that introduced a coupe of new classes that apparently changed last minute. When asked what happened, she and other staff acted like we were crazy at first, then proceeded to blame it on unreliable new hires. All they needed to say was, “sorry, we hoped to start that class, but we were not able to secure the resource for it as planned. I’m glad you were excited about it, and we will continue to see how we can add that class.” Don’t expect any level of professionalism at this gym. It’s very sad to see this gym turn so badly so quickly. The elliptical machines should be replaced, they are so bad. The branding on the front desk is being held on by tape. The staff seems to turn over a lot. Trash will be left in the same place for a whole week.

Spoke to Daniel at the front desk regarding a membership benefit. He's really knowledgeable about the gym and made me feel welcome to visit anytime.
