The YMCA offers many opportunities, particularly for those seeking a gym with a strong sense of community. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was warmly greeted by the staff, whose dedication and passion are truly commendable. Mak and Kris, in particular, exemplify the heart and commitment that make this place special. Their unwavering dedication to their roles shines through in every interaction.

It's not a Christian or spiritual atmosphere at all. Pretty much 1/8 of the people that go there are in a little click and if you're new and young and a little bit strange then they don't want anything to do with you. I did have a lot of fun in the warm water pool and with some of the classes. Nice facility and teachers, just some members and one of the staff that were rude wates of space

I have mixed feelings about this place. Almost all the staff at the front desk are great, the monthly fee is really fair, and the people who watch your kids while you work out are all really good. The pool is amazing, the karate and ballet classes are good, and the workout area is good too. The trouble is that the locker rooms can smell really terrible sometimes and that more than half the lifeguards are on their phones for several minutes in a row and not paying any attention to what is happening in the pool. I've taken pictures of the lifeguards on their phones several times over the course of weeks and showed the front desk and they said this is a known issue but that the manager won't do anything about it. I've even approached the lifeguards and asked them to put their phones away myself but it doesn't last. Most of the swim instructors are really good, but some of them are barely aware of your kids during swim lessons. If you pretend like there are no lifeguards on duty and don't mind occasionally smelly locker rooms, this place is fantastic. Hopefully more people mention these issues and they do something about it.

Every service that had been provided by YMCA had been exceptional. And we utilize their services a lot. Me and my kids LOVE Megan's Zumba classes. Kids go with enthusiasm to camp every day. We also use school based before and after care (and with 3 kids we used other services as well) and plan to hold on to our spot ;). We have been extremely satisfied with everything and everyone.

Nice policy - sign new agreement at front desk or you don't have access to gym. You can't take it and read it later, you must sign NOW or be turned away even though I was paid up to date. No warning, could've been sent in advance via email. But the manager said that's the way it is. His way or the highway. Too many gyms in town to put up with abuse.
