Best Gyms with Indoor Pools near Medford, New-jersey

Five star fitness experience! Not as large in comparison to a lot of gyms but nevertheless still great. I really was impressed with the way the staff was very pleasant from the young man at the cafe to the front desk. The center offers a variety of classes too with very experienced and nice teachers. Swimming pool is small but nice even has the endless pool. The cafe has a lot of healthy yummy treats my shake had coconut water in it and it was so refreshing! Membership is a really affordable cost and you are welcome to a free 21 day trial membership before hand. Highly recommend and I’m so glad I found this place!

Medford Fitness had me from hello! I literally walked into the main office and was immediately greeted with a big smile. I came to find out that big smile was the GM Jennifer! The old saying first impressions last forever was loud and clear for me. I knew immediately that I was comfortable at Medford Fitness. As I toured the facility I passed four people walking through the facility, and I was greeted with a smile Ms hello. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I felt like there was everything you need at a gym to become the person you want to be. I’m looking forward to being there more! Kudos to the owner and staff at Medford Fitness for doing a tremendous job!

I like the fact that the gym is 24 hours. It’s really convenient since I work at night. The only unfortunate thing is the equipment is old and the gym is just very well maintained. One thing that really stood out to me is when benching the barbell is not a normal barbell it’s definitely heavier and longer I’m not sure what’s up with that but that’s also another factor on why I really dislike this gym. Another thing that is also kinda weird is that it’s the pulleys weight doesn’t have actual weights it starts with 2 then goes to 4,6 all the way up to 12 but I have no idea what the weight actually is witch is crazy to me I’ve never seen that at a gym before and I’ve been going to gyms constantly for years. Overall not the worlds worst gym but I definitely would not go back again if it wasn’t for the fact that it was 24 hours I would have never went at all.

If Medford Fitness even cares and reads their reviews, I hope it will respond. I joined knowing that the equipment and facility is old and poorly maintained. The whole place is well past due for an update. But aside from that, I have been trying to cancel my membership sinch March of 2023!!!!!!! I sent the email as instructed, paid outstanding fees, have an email that says the last payment is May 4, 2023 and yet I've been charged up to the end of December. I am now a month and a half in emailing back and forth with Jennifer who is trying to figure out what is going on. At least she stopped the payments and even though she confirmed the refund for December, I am yet to see that. I am all for supporting local business but not this one! STAY AWAY from this place.

They raised it to 56.00 a month , a lot of the equipment is old and falling apart , I lift weights and it’s nearly impossible to get on a machine with all the teens who come in and hang out with their friends on the machines . I’ve said something a couple of times and no one seems to care , a couple people I know have left for that reason . I stay because it’s so convenient to my house but I’ve contemplated leaving a couple of times. Other than that the personal trainers are great , they need an “adult “ area with weight benches and equip

This has by far been my favorite gym in Medford I’ve gone too. They have the best variety of equipment, welcoming staff, and good vibes. The ownership has recently changed and they’ve cleaned up the entire place and are getting even more new equipment. Pull-up bars, free weights, machines, a swimming pool, fitness classes, and even a sauna.

This is an updated review as a lot has changed. Prior review was positive. New owner (Mike) knows how to run a gym and it just keeps getting better. Daycare, lots of new equipment, sauna, showers, lockers, pool, cold plunge, aerobics and spin classes round out the gym's services. Overall vibe is friendly and fit, staff is very helpful and it's clear they appreciate their members. Even the interior lighting is new to provide inspiration during the dreary winter months. Very appreciative of the recent changes. A well earned five star review.

Great gym for the whole family. Happy to see that the original owner is back, and already so many positive changes; upgrades and new equipment. The gym is starting to feel like the old times again. All the equipment and classes you could want for a great workout. My favorite is the spin class. Always a positive and upbeat vibe here. The front desk staff always greets hello. And even though my kiddos are grown now it’s so nice to see that the daycare is back. That was so important to our family when my kids were younger.

I joined specifically for the group fitness classes. And I have to say they are all awesome. The instructors are all very nice, professional and knowledgeable! Modifications are offered for those that need them and everyone feels welcome. I have only had the best experiences.

This is where it all started for me on my fitness journey when it originally openned up decades ago, so I credit this place for helping me get really healthy, fit n buffed! The glass sunroom is my favorite room because it’s so sunny and bright there! Lotsa brand new cardio machines in there! I alternate between all the different ones in this room so love the variety a lot! What other gym in the area has a big bright glass sunroom filled with the latest newest cardio equipment, stretching stations, different ab equipment, pilates machines, weights, and floor exercise mats …. None do except for this gym of Active Fitness in Medford NJ I’ve never made use of the children’s daycare, but it always looks like the children are very well cared for and having lotsa fun in there! The staff that work in the daycare are always very happy to be there also caring for your children so that’s all comforting to know! Plus it’s free included in your membership There’s an all woman’s only private section currently being built, so looking forward to when it’s finished so I can work out there too! Whole gym facility is very super upscale! It just keeps getting better and better here all the time! Very caring, helpful and friendly group of staff that work there with great respectful communications always! Lotsa variety of group fitness classes from early morning to afternoon and then again at night. Very convenient hours it’s open In less than a year since new ownership took over there has been a tremendous amount of upgrades and improvements in every way, so they really care a whole lot about helping people get healthy and fit! I’m very thankful, grateful for this business’s existence so thank you!
