Update 11/15/2024: This place got flooded pretty drastically. About a week after the snowfall we had, the roof is still leaking into buckets and tarps across the gym. The place reeks of mildew, and mold. Overall, as previously mentioned, going downhill. Upside: they fixed one set of water fountains. The other is still broken. Place has gone down hill. Been here for a few years now. Lights frequently go out in the building, there’s only one water fountain for the whole place, machines are broken down most of the time, the sinks and restrooms are a hit or miss on cleanliness. You see the “Broken! Will fix soon!” Sign everywhere. I understand there’s construction going on, but try keeping the basic gym amenities well maintained, before investing in a new studio no one will use. Consider going to planet fitness down the street before coming here, it’s a pain.

Normally, I would have positive things to say about this location. But as of lately, I have noticed the group class schedule caters overwhelmingly to those who do the premium studio classes. There are days they only have 3 classes for those with mid range membership and 19 classes for premium members. When I peer into the studio, I don't see many bodies in there. I guess this is a way to force membership upgrades.

I signed up for a one day pass online to check out alternative gyms. I was greeted by Noah and another guy and I let them know it was my first time. They quickly and easily got me in right away and were very hospitable. Noah offered to let me tour the gym if I wanted to. Overall I had a good experience here and there were plenty people to meet and a lot of equipment to work with. I would definitely consider switching my gym in the future to here ❤️.

Update: Sept 2, 2024. Well, im still here, and the reason was the hot tub and the pool. Now I'm not sure about the pool anymore. The pool still has stuff in the bottom of it from months ago and stuff floating in it. It seems no one here really cares except to get people to sign up and get paid. The locker rooms are still the same, along with the bathroom area is disgustingwith people breaking things and the toiletsgot shot everywhere and no one really tries to clean it up at all, the ants haven't seen any lately but the showers still have hair all over and some kind of blood on the wall and floor still so I don't use the showers here, instead I shower before and after at home. I only go for the hot tub. Steam room, sauna, and massage chairs now since they got rid of the movie theater where you can watch a flick and workout. I'm trying to give this place a chance, but it seems this company only cares about profit, not its members. They are a big disappointment. They don't really have anyone cleaning the place at all during business hours, and if they do, it's only doing trash. I wouldn't recommend this place at all except if you're looking to use what I wrote above. Also, it is weary that some of the members don't use swimming gear and the staff don't care when you complain. I've complained about people getting in with their underwear, gym shorts, and sweat pants. I'm still here but for how long probably not much longer. I'm definitely looking into other gyms as well.

Lexi, Tony, and Katie were outstanding and welcoming. I’ve tried other gyms in the area even other vasa fitness centers and none were as welcoming and courteous as the members here. Thank you for making a new guy feel welcomed in Colorado

The members at this gym are a different vibe. As a gay woman I felt very comfortable as people would not stop staring, giving looks. Not a comfortable gym for everyone. Lap pool was sorta clean, really needs to be drained more.

They have great kid care! Very clean & safe. My little one was nervous to go at first but they do all they can to make him comfortable which usually entails them holding him the whole time but they stay positive and hold my little nugget for an hour while I workout.

I love this gym. I’ve been coming here for three years now . They have great staff, very friendly !!! great trainers , variety of machines, variety of classes. You can attend different hours. It’s pretty clean for such a huge gym. They just renovated. They change the carpets. They put some new machines on and it’s really affordable, even if you buy the whole membership, even personal trainers are affordable and there are different ones with different backgrounds and knowledge so it’s really nice. It’s my favorite gem so far. .

The water pressure is super low for the water fountains. There are so many machines out of order and the majority of them and their peripherals have seen too much use- should be replaced. That basketball court feels cramped! Decent gym, but for a VASA, I've seen better.

I have been a regular at this VASA location for the past six months, and overall, it has been a positive experience, contrary to some of the more negative reviews. The most common complaint I've encountered is about the cleanliness of the locker rooms, and unfortunately, I have to agree with this. As of my last visit, the men's locker room could definitely use some attention in terms of sanitation. That said, I personally don’t use the locker room often since I prefer to go in, work out, and leave. I always keep my backpack or gym bag with me during my workout because I’ve heard about belongings being stolen. If you plan to use the lockers, I highly recommend bringing a combo or padlock for added security, or simply keep your items with you to avoid any issues. Beyond that, this gym has a lot to offer. It’s spacious and well-equipped with a wide variety of exercise machines. The staff has been friendly and helpful in my experience, and the membership fee is reasonable, especially compared to other gyms that are smaller and offer fewer amenities. The gym recently underwent renovations, which temporarily impacted the experience—certain areas were closed off, making the space feel crowded. However, now that the renovation is complete, things have returned to normal, and I haven’t encountered any issues finding equipment or space to exercise. As with any gym, the crowd level can vary depending on the time and day you visit. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, making it harder to find available machines, but in general, it's manageable. All in all, I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a solid, local option with plenty to offer at a reasonable price—just be mindful of the locker rooms.

This ymca gym is very well kept and clean. The trainers are also very nice to help you when you do not know how to use a certain machine. Everyone has been extremely helpful and I love it here so much !

I’ve been a member for about two years now and really enjoy it. The facility is clean and I never have trouble finding a machine to use. I’ve done the kickboxing, body pump and Pilates classes. Teachers have all been really knowledgeable, welcoming and had great classes for whatever skill level you’re at. My kids have also done a few dance classes, basketball sessions (different location though) and karate and have enjoyed those as well.

Do not sign your kid up for the summer camps here. It isn't worth the money. My kid told me all they did last summer was sit around inside. When it rains, they don't really have any backup plans. She was part of the 'STEM' camp...and they hardly did anything. You can find better camps that are not as expensive elsewhere.

About a month since it opened! The facility, the equipment, the staff all are exceptional! Our kids enjoy their swim lessons, my wife and I enjoy the options for classes and the personalized training program! Remember to get yourself the fitness bands that applies your profile and tracks your activity, if you haven’t already, schedule a walk through and download the app for a more curated workout experience!! This is a much needed facility after an year of lockdowns and restrictions!! Thanks YMCA!

Childcare at this YMCA consists almost exclusively of watching movies, some of which I surmise many parents would object to if they were cognizant of what the children are exposed to (the selection is likely based on preferences of the teenagers looking after childcare). We have attended this YMCA for months and had a pleasant experience. We kindly asked for the television to be off for every visit requiring childcare. On one occasion recently it was turned off in front of the parent, and then turned back on immediately when the parent left to exercise. This had not happened to our knowledge the previous two dozen or so times. Our request had always been respectfully heard. The last time our family went to the YMCA, for the first time they refused to turn the television off at all. Other parents may find no objection to this YMCA's "childcare". I would at least encourage you to take responsibility for the content your children are exposed to here - don't expect discretion from staff. Other YMCA's in the area may provide much better childcare service - such a critical blessing to families with young children, allowing the parents time to exercise. Your children are worth the longer commute!
