I still enjoy the gym and still a current member as of this review, I just wanted to voice my opinion for others to make an informed decision. I’ve been a member of this gym since around 2019 and initially enjoyed the environment and equipment. In 2023, I upgraded my membership specifically to use the infrared sauna, only to find out that it’s locked during non-staffed hours—a restriction that makes it nearly unusable for me most of the time. What’s especially frustrating is the communication, or lack thereof, around the recent price increase. I’ve received numerous automated emails and texts for surveys and other notifications, yet I only found out about the price hike through another member. Why couldn’t HiTONE notify us directly? As for the reasons behind the price increase, it seems to be focused on adding new equipment and expanding the personal training options. This particular gym location even has a separate, higher-tier space only accessible to members paying over $100/month, but only during staffed hours. It feels like most of the improvements are centered around personal training rather than benefiting regular members. For example, a deadlift platform was added that takes up space in a squat rack area, when a better option could’ve been a dedicated wall setup. Other HiTONE gyms have blue astro turfs open to all members, which would have been a more universally beneficial addition. Overall, the gym has enough equipment for a decent workout, but it often feels as though regular members are overlooked in favor of personal training and higher-tier memberships. The constant spam of emails and texts, combined with the silence around key changes like price increases, only reinforces my sense that regular gym-goers’ feedback isn’t valued.

BEWARE! Prices are increasing to $49/month. They are going to sell you on empty promises about the price increase being to buy new equipment but as a member who has been here since 2016 (when it was Workout Anytime) take my word for it - IT WON'T BE HAPPENING. How about maintaining your current equipment instead of promising to buy new. The lack of concern by “corporate/ownership” about their members quitting is frightening. This gym used to be member focused but it is clear that members have been put on the back burner. Management couldn't care less about their members, it's all about getting the next person signed up. When I had a conversation with “upper management” about the price increase I was told “we expect people to quit but that’s just part of it.” I’d rethink that thought process because if you keep these new prices then you’ll be able to advertise it as a private gym because few people will be paying it. Also, if you go during "unstaffed hours" then don't expect to have access to tanning, sauna or red light therapy, your $50/month fee is going to be just for cardio equipment and weights. Go down the road and pay less for more amenities. Also, take a look at the negative reviews below (not the few positive ones that coincidentally popped up when real members started leaving negative reviews) Once you get locked into the contract they charge you an arm and a leg to get out.

Was worth the original $29/month when we signed our membership agreement about a year ago. Now with the increase to $50/month with no extra benefits that would be available to us (the extra amenities are only available while staff is there so working out after staff hours has you paying extra money for no reason), we’ve decided to cancel our membership. Luckily I received an email about the price increase, however, unlike many, my partner did not receive any notification from the gym about it.

I’ve been so impressed with this gym. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming—both the staff and other members make working out a positive experience. There’s plenty of equipment, so I’ve never had to wait long, and the space never feels overcrowded, which is a big perk of a private gym. The private infrared sauna is another highlight: it’s spacious, very clean, and has a chic look that’s perfect for winding down after a workout. They also offer organized, small-group classes in a separate building. With the smaller class sizes, the instructors are able to provide individual attention to each person, making it feel like a semi-private session. The personal training is reasonably priced, and the trainers are knowledgeable and supportive. Another bonus? There’s a drive-thru coffee shop nearby that gives discounts to members. I’d highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive and well-equipped space to work out!

I’ve been going here since this gym opened and was under the name Workout Anytime. They have the audacity to now raise the prices without any new amenities to justify them doing this in the first place. With everything already being as high as it is in this economy to just up and raise the price on something for nothing is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll definitely be canceling my membership here. Back to planet fitness I go!
