Best Gyms with Functional Training Equipment near Teaneck, New-jersey

I have been a member of Different Breed Sports Club since 2021. Loved the atmosphere that this gym provides and continues to do so. The equipment is top notch and can handle a lot of weight as pictured below. And they always have it cleaned every day. The gym community in here is like a family in helping each other. The trainers have your back when working out. I would say this is the go-to gym in NJ for anyone looking to get fit for any type of activity. The classes that are offered here are top notch as well. And I took part in the Blue-Collar Boxing Program that was offered, and it was a hell of a program.

I started at DB after my heart attack in 2021. Training there was a crucial part of my recovery. The facility is well equipped, spacious and clean. The staff, coaches and trainers are knowledgeable, professional and supportive and the gym has a great community and welcoming culture. Don has really created a special place where people have the resources and environment to seriously pursue their fitness goals.

I recently signed my son up for the youth boxing class and its been amazing. My son loves it. The coaches do an incredible job balancing intensity, education and fun, and the gym as a whole has a wonderful communal energy .

I love Different Breed—it has motivated me on so many levels! Don is doing incredible work and pours his heart into the business. The trainers are amazing! I especially enjoy the AM classes with Cas and the cardio workouts with Don—they really push you to your limits! Don keep doing amazing work!

As soon as I first stepped foot into this gym I felt their amazing vibe. The first thing I noticed is how clean it was, they have a variety of machines and weights too. Their classes will challenge you and all the coaches are very supportive. I like how thorough and detailed the coaches are when it comes to form, they are always paying attention and they are very knowledgeable. Not to mention how welcoming everyone is. It’s cool that you can take a class or do your own thing on the side in the free gym space. This place has good vibes all over it. 10/10!!

Very welcoming and clean masjid. Everyone their treats each other like family Muslim or not they welcome everyone. Gym is very clean too! Will be here every week now!

The staff and facilities at AUCC are phenomenal. One of the cleanest and nicest gyms I have ever worked out at. A huge plus is that Victor Martinez trains there sometimes. It’s an absolute privilege.

They are really caring team in Aucc. My 2 kids loved to spend time in there. Cooking class, art and sport...all got good attention from my kids. Can't wait to start again

Terrible attitude from a "brother" when I took my wife and my newborn baby to get women fitness information, he told me you have to make an appointment to schedule a tour of the place I told him I've seen the place just will show my wife he said "you have to sign in because I don't know who you are" I said ok then can we just pray at the masjid and go he said "no, we got two bomb thread before, do you know what that is?!" I asked who's running the management he said "Allah" and then he started making assumptions as I was aggressive to Muslims as if he knew me even though he just said he didn't who I am No wonder whole building with a huge parking lot is empty and look abandoned, idk whatever this place is served for but it's such a shame with this attitude and weird "policy" We never experienced a masjid turns down a family from Salah....
