I’d give a full 5 stars but I believe everyone has room for improvement! I’ve been to multiple gyms, and worked at LA Fitness as well. This gym has a ton of different equipment (I just wish they had a wee bit more space between them) and the outdoor section is great I’ve never been to a gym that had that, though I haven’t used it yet due to it being absolutely freezing outside. My favorite part though is that all the group classes are free with membership. I utilize that the most because other gyms I’ve gone to charge you per class even with memberships. Great gym overall. Pretty clean especially for not having round the clock employees, which means the people that come here must be responsible too which is great to see. Respect your gym.

I am a former competitive bodybuilder and will be reviewing this gym on a few different criteria. First and foremost, for the normal person, the gym is 100% fine. It is clean, plenty of equipment and open 24/7. If you are a competitive athlete, this gym has some pros and cons... Pros - clean, lots of plates, a variety of equipment and specialty bars and attachments (however, some of the recent attachment purchases are of knock offs and not the original manufacturer - disappointing there). Very rarely is weight training or cardio equipment out of order. They have 3 step mills and 1 jacobs ladder, which is rare. They have plenty of dumbbells which are rarely stripped and often tight. Which is not always easy to find in a gym. Cons - horrible air circulation in the summer. Even with all the fans going, the air is heavy and hard to breath. While there is a great variety of equipment, 95% of it is old. You will not find any Atlantis, Arsenal or Panetta cutting edge machines. It is mostly composed of old Body Masters, some Hammer Strength and a hodgepodge of misc manufacturers. The mono-lift is locked up and only available when front desk staff is available. So, it spends most of it's time being a really expensive bar rack. They moved some of the better pieces of equipment to the outside training area and they are getting destroyed by the weather. Also, walking around the place is like an obstacle course. Everything is tight. One of the reasons I go in the early am hours. The gym has potential to be great if.... some (not all) of the equipment was updated, the air circulation in the summer was improved and if there was more square footage to spread out some of the equipment.

Popped in was traveling through the area, planet fitness was an extra 30 Minutes away, so glad I went here instead. Spillanes blows the socks off any Globo gym. Clean, every piece of equipment you can think of, not crowded. 24 access via water bottle machine for $10 for 24 hour access.5 stars, you can tell the owner loves his place and takes great care of it! Thank you

This place is great! I just did a day pass as I'm traveling through the area, but wow, I wish this was my usual gym! I mostly stayed in the outdoor area, which had everything I could need and more: benches, squat racks, free weights, machines. This place's outdoor area is bigger than most gyms that I've been to. Loved it and I'm definitely coming back!
