New Year’s Eve @6 pm I was pretty nervous to go here after reading all the reviews but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I love the equipment selection here and how many cardio machines they have as well! Kids crunch as soon as you walk in with some seating across the area. My kid hasn’t tried kids crunch yet but we’ll see what it’s about. Sort of nervous to leave her there with a stranger- would be nice if the windows were clear or there was a camera system in place for parents only on the app. Will be coming back in the new year to see if it’s over crowded like people are saying. Gym is pretty small but has 2 stories so it makes up for how small it is Girls locker room smells like poo just like the other review was saying- probably all that preworkout. But then again, even golds gym locker room doesn’t smell that bad. Going to give this gym a few more times to decide if I actually like it or not. Update: I wanted to downgrade my membership by 1 tier and support said that it was $30 plus some paperwork. Pretty ridiculous. With the updated pricing increase, it would only be a $4 difference so not worth it at this point.

I am very thankful that Crunch opened in Kyle. I do not have to drive to San Marcos to work out. It is a little weird when you drive by the parking lot and it is packed, but when you go in and it is not too bad. As busy as it is, you can get in, grab your work out and get out. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This gym has slightly different machines than San Marcos does. I do like the fact that you can change the handles from 0, 45, or 90 degrees and work different angles of the muscles. This gym has the same issue that every other gym does with folks who "camp out" on machines. This place has lockers. Folks with backpacks or gym bags, need to put them in the locker and not leave them out where someone can trip on them. The other frustrating thing is when gym patrons with sit and scroll through FaceBook or TikTok while on a machine. I watched one girl sit on the same machine for 25 minutes scrolling through Facebook, which I had done my whole leg work out. I can surf the web at home. Not sure why folks need to do it at the gym. I get if you need to change a song or something, but 20+ minutes of doing nothing on a machine is a bit excessive. I know it is not their job to remind gym patrons to use a little courtesy while they are working out. I have found you have time it just right if you want to use dumbbells,; but, there are multiple weights for everyone use and multiple benches too. I tend to mix it up if I do not want to fight someone for a machine. This place has just opened and they do have an issue with their sewer backing up. They had to close the restrooms because it looked like a toilet had overflowed; but, it was in both the toilet area and the sink area. I mentioned it to one guy who said they were away of the issue. I am still trying to find my groove at this gym. I have found that if I go after midnight, it does think out a bit. I am thankful we have a 24 hour gym and I do not have to drive to Austin or San Marcos to work out.

The gym is beautiful and clean. It has everything that I need and the fact that is 24 hours makes it ever better. However, lately they are taking the same route as the Factory. Super loud music. I was a member of the factory Gym not far from crunch. And I left it because of the loud music. And I have several friends that I met there that left bc of the same reason. I don't understand the necessity of having crazy loud music. When the gym opened the music volume was perfect. I was able to workout, hear the music playing and not be bother by it. Now I had to go back to wear my cancellation noise headphones. I go to the gym at 4am. No one wants to listen to some music blasting that early . Let’s go back to the normal volume music and let’s keep this beautiful facility clean. Thank you, JC

Great convenient location! Samller than the San Marcos Crunch, but has a few different and interesting machines i really enjoy. Parking is a little wonky, but that's mostly due to construction next door, Im sure it'll be better when the rest of the lot opens up. I've not had a problem parking yet, but have had to circle the lot a few times before I got a spot. The three stars are for cleanliness. On more than one visit, I've noticed the bathroom floors, sinks, etc are not kept very clean, nor are the floors and equiptment out in the gym. There is also no toilet paper holder in one of the stalls. I've never seen anyone actively cleaning at this location(when I have at every visit to other locations), and have been to the Kyle location several times now. I will continue to go, as the staff is very friendly, and I enjoy the Crunch Gym product overall.

I love Crunch! It’s been open for just a few months and I’ve been loving it! The classes are great and the machines and equipment are so nice! The staff is great as well, specifically Abby Duncan! She’s the best! The gym is also always clean and ready for use throughout the day!

Mariah quickly adapts to keep the workout beneficial. I recently had knee surgery but was able to get in two workouts this week using only top body movements. She is always positive and encouraging.
