I was in town for the week and DMF offered a great rate for the week to workout. I met one of the owners when I was in there signing up, super nice guy. The gym is solid. You can definitely get strong in there. Lots of good equipment and everyone respects the vibe. Just an FYI, cardio equipment is stairmasters and treadmills with 1 rogue bike and 2 other spin bikes and there’s no bumpers if you’re looking for that. I’ll definitely hit this place again next time I’m in town.

Best gym in town, good equipment, clean and the owners create a respectful culture. Recommend!

Awesome gym! Purchased visitor pass for a week when traveling. Opens early, great equipment, and incredibly friendly crowd. I wish DMF was my home gym!

My son wanted to check DMF out even though we have gym memberships. We ended up each getting a 6 month membership! I had my mind made up that this was going to be the kind of gym where you felt intimidated and heard a lot of grunting but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. The owner and trainers and staff in general were everything we needed today. The energy in this gym is something I haven’t ever experienced. The way we both felt leaving today was so amazing! Go check them out!!

This is not your typical gym, it's a community. I was made to feel welcome the minute I entered the place. Theron and Endria are the heart and personality of this place. All the trainers are certified professionals. All the equipment is top notch and the gym is spotless. Everyone helps each other, everyone motivates everyone. DME has become my social life, I have made many friends at this place. I just love getting up every morning, and I mean every morning and going to the gym. I cant say enough how I feel about this place and it's owners and clients.

Ive been working out for 15 years. I have NEVER been kicked out/ locked out of a gym. Ive been to so many anytime fitness gyms around the country due to my job which is working for the Railroad. I went in on 1/21/25 to shower after a long 12 hour shift. Didn’t workout because I was too tired. Next day I comeback to workout and shower and it turns out I’m locked out now. Reading the reviews I realize management doesn’t want you to “only shower”. I understand that they’ve had issues in the past with people being reckless but hey bud, THATS BUSINESS. You could do a little research on the person before banning them from your gym. Thanks for nothing. 0 stars.

Ive been membership with them for more than 3 months now, sad to say that i will relocate myself to Palm Desert because a guy who introduced himself as manager and his name is Oscar. I never had any problem with the gym but with him, Today is the second time he came up to me and said "do not drop the dumbbells", I meant who the hell that go to work out but do not try to push self closer to failure and drop when it comes to your last set since you cant hold it no more??? Well, this gym has too much bad reviews for reason, my only recommendation is that if you are the one who always be gentle with the floor then go ahead and sign up with them. I wont ever go back there no more.

I usually search for the keyword "shower" in the reviews to confirm whether or not the location has a shower (not all do). The first review that popped up said he was banned for only showering, which is what I intended to do. So I guess you can ban me too. Absolute ridiculous policy that you can workout and then shower but not only shower. This should probably be reported to corporate. Edit: if someone makes a mess of the bathroom, for sure you should take action. But I'm pretty sure if a paying member comes in to respectfully utilize a service that you provide and that we pay for, banning them goes against your terms of service. I'll check for you with corporate.

Have email them about my contact that I open in Palm Desert location but since I’ve only went to Indio my whole account transfer to Indio and the people at Palm desert can’t help me and there’s no staff at Indio , I been calling and email them for months and I haven’t gotten an answer to finally cancel my membership , no one answers , also there’s a 12-month contract and it isn’t worth it for the little equipment they have there . Eos in LQ is better when it’s empty. ( I’ll take down my review if anyone decides to respond to my emails and give me an answer otherwise this will stay )

Worst gym to go to in the valley shady managers and owner of the Indio location. They try to hide from concerns we have or when someone wants to cancel their membership . Shady staff stay away from the place .

They have day passes for $10, and you can pay $15 to do a group class drop in. I don’t live in the Coachella valley, so I needed a place to train while out here on vacation. And this was a great spot for that. It’s grungy… but they have EVERYTHING equipment wise. And usually two of them. So if you care more about the quality of your session than the facility, this is your spot. And it seems like everyone knows each other - but everyone was super friendly, even though they all knew I was an “outsider” lol

This is a wonderful gym for people who really enjoy getting after it — of all ages and sizes- and of all ethnicities. Very well equipped, very inviting, and the owner, Iggy, is a very nice guy My only reservation is that the rowing machines are in awful shape: the rails are rarely cleaned; the chains rarely oiled; and the batteries were close to dead or dead on the only available machines the last time I was in town. I row a lot; so maybe I am picky, but it really is a shame. Otherwise a great place.

One of the best local home grown gyms in the Coachella Valley. From the owner to the front desk employees this gym has "home" vibe with legit equipment. All levels of fitness feel welcomed and every member there is extremely friendly and that's rare.

This place is awesome. They have everything you could possibly need, plenty of barbells, plates, space to deadlift, squat racks, rowing machines, tires, everything. The staff is super nice. Cheap monthly memberships and they even have a day rate if you’re just visiting.

Super gym! Glad to find this hidden gem while visiting from out of town. Friendly, awesome staff, great rates, well equipped gym including Olympic/power lifting equipment.
