Two days in a row I’ve gone to this gym, and there aren’t paper towels in ANY of the dispensers. The staff (that is obviously aware) put regular cloth towels for people to continuously reuse and wipe off the machines. It’s really disgusting and I didn’t want to touch a dirty towel that’s been sitting there all day.

Mostly great, but for some reason this location tolerates one man to claim 4 whole machines at a time. Usually by the curl machines. The entitlement is nauseating, he never cleans the machines after himself either.

New ad says you can cancel anytime but fine print at end of ad "memberships may include 12 month commitment" and at end of year there's a $49 annual fee (yes it is related to the membership, if someone doesn't belong to your gym then you wouldn't collect it.) Areas around most Planet Fitness are not the best in my opinion. Read the fine regarding canceling the membership.

Raven was a huge help. She was very knowledgeable about the different machines and equipment and service. Whatever your paying her it’s not enough she deserves a raise.

The gym is great. But the elliptical machines on the 2nd floor need better maintenance. Most of the reception people are nice and cordial.

Been going to this gym for 5yrs now. I went o plnet fitness and surprisingly their machines are way more smoother and easier on the joints. I like this gb3 branch but they need to add more machine.. The seniors here are rude, they would tell u to move if they want to use the equipment, I hope they add more equipments..

I've had a membership here for almost 20 years. One of the best gyms in the Central Valley area. Hands down. But yesterday I was at the gym and 80% of the bicep equipment was out of service. Due to replacement of padding mainly one machine was just Frozen. I believe 8 out of 10 were not working. There were no other equipment that was being repaired. Does the person that does the repairs not work out at all? How is anybody to do a bicep workout if they mainly use the machines when they're all down? It's been at least 2 days now. I know that you guys read these reviews and I wanted to make sure that they understand that doing all the equipment for one muscle group is not really a good thing to do at a gym. At least in my personal opinion.

Great gym, I've been going to the Herndon and pain GB3 for several years now. The facility is always immaculate, the staff take a lot of price in making the place spotless, even vacuuming while you're working out, lol, I appreciate the attention to detail. Very supportive management team and staff is really nice and friendly. There's tons of equipment for every type of workout you want to do, boxing bags , pool, sauna , steam room, this location has it all , right behind the gym there is a hidden trail you should definitely check out 😎

I go to this location now almost 7 days of the week. The staff is friendly and the site is kept clean. I enjoy the energy and have made a few new friends. I have even met a couple of pros who have given me some workout advice. 💪 I also enjoy running into George himself he is always kind and encouraging. I like that they always keep up with fixing downed equipment. Most things if needing repair are only down for a day at the most.

Great gym, equipment in excellent shape , friendly staff, busy pool. Wish they would not have the news channels on the TVs adds to stress . Surely sport would be more appropriate, really love the gym. But the news channels stress me out and they are positioned so they are unavoidable . The Olympics , tour de France , Wimbledon, etc is on this summer, last 3 weeks was the beautiful tour of Italy and all we saw was politics .

Love the gym but the benches seriously need to be replaced in the sauna. Naked sharp screws stick out and up to cause some possible burns, punctures or snagging on clothes. And pieces of wood sticking up for same possibilities.

I joined this gym for a few months but switched back to Fort Washington. The locker room of Iron Office is almost always dirty with trash laying around and a layer of filth on every surface. Several of the electrical outlets have completely exposed wires. It's impossible to contact the staff for anything. It's really shocking that they charge as much as they do when other gyms are cheaper, cleaner, offer towels, and have staff members available.

The best gym, ever! From the owners to the trainers to the clients, everyone has created this amazing gym culture there that makes everyone feel welcome! Whether you are a powerlifter or body builder or just started your journey, this place is for you. The community is great! I am a veteran, so I'm proud to be part of this veteran owned gym! If you haven't tried it come check it out once you come in you won't want to leave and now we are getting a second location as well so I'm excited to see how this community grows! Keep up the good work!!! Member since 2022!

This gym is the real deal that's open 24 hours. More iron than you will find at any other pansy posing parlor. Super clean. Buy your membership online (mine was for 6 days). They have an app that you'll need to download and use to open the door connecting your phone to the Bluetooth device to the left of the door (I checked that in red on the photo).

The lack of maintenance is disappointing especially in the bathroom. A large chunk of the equipment is torn up or has spare parts laying next to them making you question if it’s safe to use or not. Step up for how much people are paying to exercise here. Just because it has a big reputation in Fresno doesn’t mean it’s nice, looks like a gym basement. Staff wasn’t the nicest either dude could not care less

It truly pains me to leave this review, as this gym holds so much potential and is one of the few that can compete with larger chains like GB3 in Fresno. The ambiance is inviting, and the community of members is fantastic. However, there are some critical issues that cannot be overlooked. First, if you’re a woman who works out, I strongly advise changing at home. The gym employs a male staff member who cleans the women’s locker room, often entering without prior notice. I’ve raised this concern with the management, and while they assured me it would be addressed, yet he still does it. Second, the staff exude an air of superiority and are remarkably unhelpful when it comes to resolving membership concerns or issues with the app. Their preferred mode of communication is email, yet responses can take a week—unacceptable for any business, let alone one trying to expand. Speaking of expansion, while the new location is a welcome addition, perhaps it would be wise to first address the existing shortcomings and prioritize your loyal members before branching out.

Signing up was the best decision i've made for myself. The workouts are well constructed(and tough), the coaches are great and know what they're doing, and the environment is super friendly and encouraging. I also lost about 12lbs in the first few months training here(2-3 sessions a week). Highly recommend!

New Era (Olympus) has literally become my 2nd family! I joined back in 2017 not knowing a thing about CrossFit and was extremely intimidated. But, staying consistent and being around the community and coaches, I've watched myself grow and get stronger overtime. I am extremely grateful for the community itself. I've never met such welcoming people who are so supportive like the folks from New Era (Olympus)! Truly blessed to know every single person I've gotten to know! The energy and vibe is so positive and has helped me through rough times. NO CAP! Please sign up and join and start your fitness journey with New Era (Olympus)! The new location is OFF THE CHAIN and ultimately, you'll have so much fun working out here! I tip my hat off to Dustin C. and Erik L. who are so inspiring to me, to say the least! It's a privilege to be under their leadership and guidance. Also, Coach Mike, Katie, Ashton, Jenna, Tilly, Trent you guys are SO AMAZING! Literally the list goes on! Thank you for helping me and working with me and just being the kind of people that you are! Shout out to my cuddy Zeus too! (Dustin's dog) I see you champ lol I have absolutely no regrets!!! BLESSSS UP XOXOXOXO!

I started on this journey in the beginning of 2020. I looked into a few CrossFit gyms around Fresno and I saw that this one had an honorary gym dog named Zeus. I knew this place was for me. I have done regular gyms, UFC gym, and Muay Thai classes in the past but was curious about CrossFit. I called and talk to Dustin who got me all set up with “on-ramp” classes which teach you all the basics of Olympic weightlifting and the main movements we would be doing in classes. This helped me feel not so intimidated by joining a new gym. It was easy to tell in the first few sessions that this gym is a family. Everyone is extremely welcoming and helpful. No one makes you feel stupid of judges you. I work really well with structured classes so this place has been great for me. Over the past 2 years I have gained a new family and of course gains! 💪 #Cakes

Xpress Fitness!! Only $25 a month for the membership here. It’s hard to pick what I like best about this gym! I’ve been going to gyms & into fitness for 20+ years. I’ve lived in 13 states in America & been a member of corporate gyms & small gyms all over. Some of my favorites are In-Shape & 24 hour fitness. Xpress Fitness has only been open for two years & the improvements & maintenance made in equipment have been outstanding. This place is always kept clean This gym has every piece of equipment you need in a conventional gym like benches free weights & cable machines. plus all the extras like deadlifting platform, row machines, fitness studio with a variety of classes, boxing membership going 4 days a week for two hours for only $140 a month!! Conveniently located on shields & Brawley here on the west side of Fresno. Before this place there was nothing in the area so it would make sense if this gym opened just to take advantage of people & make money. However that’s not the case! The management & employees are very professional & quick to address all your questions, concerns & even suggestions. Looking forward to seeing what new equipment comes in next & so grateful for this awesome & friendly gym. Also the gym members here have a good understanding of gym etiquette & are pleasant to be around while getting a workout in. Much love & respect Xpress! Thank you for serving our community with a safe place to come get a work out.

My favorite gym to hit when I'm out here. This beats any globo gym with its quality equipment. The massage chair and massage beds are great. The showers are okay. Cons: No hair dryers, maintenance is needed in the showers especially the handicapped one, the water fountain need refiller needs to be replace and has needed for month or so...after they just renovated... The front desk Workers clean every time I have been there but they aren't handymen to maintain and service the washroom and restroom.

Not the best PF I've been to. Smaller than other Planet Fitness' around town. Machines are always broken, especially the pieces needed to adjust the equipment appropriately. Spray bottles are never refilled, leaving members unable to clean the equipment after use. I will start driving across town to a better PF.

Aiden works in the mornings. He is a rude little boy. I’ve been a member at planet fitness for awhile, over two years. Aiden called me off of the treadmill for being three days past due. I explained to him that I would pay later on today due to my payday being today, and my work schedule preventing me from being able to come right back and make the payment. He kept trying to overly dominate me. I saw a picture on my profile that clearly wasn’t pleasing so I asked him if I could change it. He kept telling me no that’s the picture I had to keep. It was literally a power struggle. Aiden’s customer service is terrible!!! I’ve never dealt with anyone this rude at the Cesar Chavez location!

I'm doing a road trip and had to stop by to get my work, AND WORKOUT done! I came in, Staff were friendly, asked if I could use the WiFi we members have, and bam! Got both done! Staff were very courteous, and from my time observing, the girl with the wavy hair at the front acknowledged everyone that came in and out! Aside from that, there was another girl that was legitimately cleaning the equipment, each individual one! And the floors were getting mopped by the girl at the front! It was absolutely clean! Trust me when I say that this does not get done everywhere! I had a great experience here, and everything was stocked up! Restrooms were cleaned, and even the tiniest detail was noticed! Way to go with that locker room and the scent in the lockers! There were no items damaged or weights thrown around. Everything was in its place! I've been to roughly 15 Planet Fitness! This takes the cake! Only 2 minor things: 1) Water pressure needs to be fixed in the men's sinks, and 2) the bathroom curtain needs to be an inch or two bigger. Other than that, bravo!!

Well, I did pay my black card thinking the gym was ready to have a good work out any location you go. Had a trip to California from Houston Tx. And I use to use the gym located in Visalia ca, but when I had to stay in Fresno this is what I found. You can say many things because am tripping out if you pay for something at least you expect will be in good and safe conditions.

Wish the heavy bags were on the edge of the room. Not in the way of everyone working out 🤷 Other than that, it was an ok experience 👍 Wish they had medium bags, for speed and precision. Heavy bags are more for full on impact. Slows you down a lot, and drains you of stamina quickly ☝️ Fit or fat

I've been coming to this particular gym for quite a while and unfortunately the staff make this place look worse at the fact that theres all this staff and no one cleaning. When you enter the gym it feels muggy and just not the best pleasent smell. The bathrooms are disgustingly unhygienic, overfilled trash, bathrooms dirty. There's always someone inside the sauna spitting on the floors or working out which makes downtime very unpleasant. Then there is the staff that comes in the sauna slamming the doors yelling at paying gym member to get the f out without warning. So disrespectful!! Like where is the manager in all of this that doesn't address any concerns. Will definitely be making the drive to the palm location.

Gym is really old, showers are gross with mold in ceiling area for the past 2 yrs. Locker eoom is filthy and workers do very little to maintain it clean but sure spend hours on their phones. People that go there have very little respect for equipment and the manager just stands around 98% of the time.

This location really needs to upgrade their locker rooms. Very outdated . The showers have waterstains ,which make them look really dirty and unsanitary . restroom stalls have black tape on the sides to provide privacy, looks tacky, and is very unprofessional. There are no rules when it comes to gym bags on the gym floor . You have people reserving equipment that they are not using . gym etiquette is not practiced here or expected by location with clear signs. These are my personal opinions and expectations, but I did expect more from gb3 tbh. I will definitely be going back to planet fitness after my contract is over .

My recent experience at this gym left me utterly disappointed and uncomfortable. I had just finished a 30-minute workout and decided to unwind in the steam room during the last 10 minutes. To my shock, an employee named Matt burst into the room and aggressively yelled at me to get out, as if he wanted to engage in a confrontation. Not only was this behavior completely unprofessional, but it also made me feel unwelcome and unsafe. I chose this gym primarily because of its proximity to my workplace, as it accommodated my schedule, closing at 11 PM. However, what I didn't expect was that they would close the sauna and steam room a whole 10 minutes earlier without any prior notice. Matt's demeanor throughout this incident was beyond rude. When I tried to address my concerns and speak to a manager about the situation, he responded in an incredibly disrespectful manner, dismissively telling me to contact a manager. In a place that should promote relaxation, fitness, and customer satisfaction, this experience was a stark contrast. I strongly advise anyone considering this gym to think twice before joining, as the rudeness and unprofessionalism displayed by their staff, particularly Matt, cast a dark shadow on an otherwise promising facility.
