Best Gyms with Functional Training Equipment near Downey, California

The reason for this 2 star ⭐ review is for two main reasons. The men's restroom is in complete disrepair!! Out of the 3 sinks in the restroom, only one works properly. I assumed they would have fixed this issue ASAP for sanitary reasons, but it's been like this for probably a month now. Soap and hand sanitizer dispensers are ALWAYS empty. Secondly, the staff here does a poor job of restocking the cleaning stations. The paper towel dispenser is empty most of the time, so you have to walk to a different cleaning station to get paper towels and cleaning spray. Apart from those issues, this planet fitness location is an okay place to get a decent workout. If they fix these issues I will revise my review.

I have been a member ever since Planet Fitness opened in Downey. The atmosphere is very inviting for you to keep exercising. All the staff is very helpful. It's always very neat and clean.

Very nice, many machines available. Went in for an hour and was able to do my whole workout. Thank you Planet Fitness.

Staff if very friendly. PF has this deal where if you're not a member, you pay $20 and you can go as many times in a 24 hour period as you'd like. I was working out of town for a few days, so it worked for me. I've taken advantage of this deal twice, two different locations. Plenty of cardio machines. There are quite a few weight machines as well. But when it comes to free weights, the area is tight, with not much to choose from. I felt like everyone was on top of each other. And at one location, people hord dumb bells(and the location only has one set of each weight). They don't have any Hammer Strength weight machines. All in all, I was able to get in a decent workout with what was available. But on some instances, I had to wait for the weights or machine to become available

The worst locker rooms around and the staff is always deep but never cleaning or half cleaning. Then the music is horrible here. Who plays slow Hispanic music In the gym! And yall see the review fix the issues and talk to yall people I don’t need to contact a manager I’m sure they all see the reviews nothing more then to clean and not stand around talking
