I observed part of a class and liked how the staff worked with the kids. I recommended it to my brother for my nephew. He has been for about a month now. I got to meet Sensei Veader and am reassured in my choice. He has a firm yet gentle way with the kids. They learn respect along with martial arts. -Chris R.

My brothers Michael Matt and I used to go to Sensei Mike's dojo on Belair rd when we were kids (I'm using my husband's account) sensei Mike was a great teacher and a very nice man I think if anybody's kids are to learn martial arts it would be through him when my daughter is old enough I may enroll her. He would always call me MEEgan and it made me so mad. But anyway, this place is your place 😁

Thia is the Dojo that you and your kids should attend. They are a tradional Japanese Dojo that teaches the old ways of Judo, Japanese Jujitsu, and MMA fighting. They make sure the students are completely streached and warmed up before the lessons begin. So if you are looking to learn Judo and Jujitsu for self-defense or for competeing in Judo tournaments or you want to become the next mma fighter in the UFC, give these guys a try. They have like over 60 years experience between them in martial arts discipleship.

My favorite Movement gym out of the many I've been to. Bouldering routes are super fun and creative, appropriately and consistently graded. Balanced setting between technique and strength so even short climbers like myself can have fun and make progress on projects. Walls are reset biweekly but the gym is large enough that you have weeks to work on a project if needed. Yoga classes are great too and staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of parking out front and there is a coffee shop, ice cream place, and brewery with food next door. Love this gym so much that I travel from out of state regularly to climb here, my home gym in Philly is notches below.

Okay gym with a lot of great bouldering, but no rope climbing and dramatically overpriced for the value (currently 90-100/month). Even in Chicago, climbing gym memberships for comparable or superior amenities are only 70-90/month. Classes are nice, but similarly limited. Anything beyond intro is expensive even for members which is ridiculous considering the membership price. It's also always very crowded in the evenings due to being the only climbing gym in the Baltimore City area.

Incredible experience. Loved climbing for the first time and the low level routes were really good at introducing me to the sport. I loved how inclusive the gym is. They are queer friendly and non-binary inclusive, which matters to me a lot. I don't often have good experiences at gyms that arent explicitly queer friendly. I left feeling great, winded and more than anything incredibly happy and joyful to be working out. Unfortunately I don't get paid enough to be able to fit their membership fee into my budget, so I'll just have to wait until a friend can bring me along for a free day or with a guest pass or something. It's disappointing, but that's the way life goes.

Really great facility, but the bouldering mats are rock hard and their core power shakes are $8! We don’t even pay those kinds of prices in LA lol total rip off.

It’s a damn nice place for bouldering. I’ve been to other rock gyms and they were fun but this one has a great diversity of routes and holds. It’s not just like a few walls with some small cheap holds, there’s a bunch of walls with a ton of unique holds big, small, and in between. the walls are also all different angles and rounded so their much better then just straight 90° walls or whatever. There’s this hanging island thing with a peg board, horizontal grip ladder, and those half ball grips which is fun to try and climb as well. There’s routes for all skill sets and even if you don’t want to climb there’s a gym attached and nice places to sit and watch or shop; and right next door a nice ice cream shop and craft brewery. Even though there were a lot of people kind of on the Saturday afternoon I went we still had barely any trouble finding a bunch of open routes and most climbers are like most Canadians, polite and helpful. Staff, walls, amenities, and all are enough for a solid rounded up 5 star review.

I ❤️ KP! I was very reluctant and intimidated to go to a personal trainer but I had a mountain climbing trip to train for and signed up with him. I made it to 19,341 feet and know his training helped me get there! KP is super focused, knowledgeable and patient. He always customizes my sessions for my joint challenges and many injuries— but I’m always improving. I recommend him to anyone at any level of fitness!

I received notification this morning that I have been indefinitely barred from all Brick Bodies locations. My membership at this particular establishment spanned a mere three months before discord began to manifest, both within the gym environment and among its staff, subsequent to my viral ascension on TikTok, which led to my recognition by other gym members. The incident last Friday nearly escalated into a full-scale altercation. I found myself the target of harassment by three individuals. Despite notifying the staff, no action was taken, compelling me to resort to reprimanding two of the aggressors vociferously and departing the gym posthaste. The origin of the conflict lay in the egregious monopolization of the leg press machines by a couple, who occupied them for an excessive duration exceeding 45 minutes. The situation further deteriorated when the boyfriend, prompted by his girlfriend, confronted me after I gestured contemptuously at her. The girlfriend, in turn, enlisted a third party by falsely claiming the machine was available while I was engaged in a discussion with gym personnel. This third individual refused to vacate the machine, and the staff's refusal to intervene forced my exit. To the proprietors of Brick Bodies, permit me to elucidate several critical points you seem to overlook: 1. I am a Level 5 Google reviewer. 2. As a celebrity, I possess substantial influence, capable of significantly impacting your entire business's bottom line should this conflict persist. 3. I am a U.S. Army Veteran; our resolve is unwavering, and we do not capitulate to anyone. This will serve as my final communiqué on the matter. Should you choose to prolong this dispute, I am prepared to engage further. Residents of Maryland, be forewarned: this gym does not prioritize the safety of its patrons, nor does it adequately accommodate celebrities. Additionally, their prohibition of recording, a policy they fail to disclose to new members, is utterly nonsensical in the year 2024.

I am only giving this gym 2 stars because of the lack of resolution with regards to no towels. I was first a member at Padonia. I was so excited when the Rotunda location opened because it is near my home. Everything about the gym is really top notch except for management's inability to resolve this towel issue. You are a Baltimore's Best gym recipient. 10 months ago someone complained on Google reviews. You can easily hire a towel service to resolve this issue. It makes the members at the Rotunda location feel less important than the other locations. It's not right. Get a towel service for goodness sake. Respect your paying members.

Please note - I have not used this facility, I only inquired about pricing for short-term use and want to share since I couldn't find this information on their website. I was looking for a gym I could use for a week while traveling in the Baltimore area. For a single day pass, price is $30 and for a week pass price is $45. I understand I'm not the type of customer this gym is looking for, but I did find this pricing to be pretty steep - which is why I will not visit this facility.

After recently moving from Australia, I wanted to find a gym where I felt comfortable and could settle into a routine. I looked at a few other gyms, and I am so glad I found Brick Bodies! Chloe was absolutely brilliant to help with the sign up process, and she always checks in with me when she sees me at the gym. They have a great range of class offerings as well as a huge gym! The staff are friendly, and I love Christina’s Body Pump classes!! Would absolutely recommend Brick Bodies to anybody!!

absolutely love this planet fitness!! one of the cleanest gyms i’ve ever worked out in. locker room always clean. equipment gets fixed quickly! 👌🏾 there’s always paper towels and cleaning spray to wipe down equipment. staff are so nice and chill! and they’ve just recently upgraded with three new gym equipment, which makes the $10 all the more worth it. love this PF!!

Gym including showers/rest rooms are very clean. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. There’s a good inflow and outflow of people so it’s not crowded. The staff are courteous and welcoming. Most of equipment seems to be in working order as do the TVs. I use the massage room often and it is clean and often available. Staff is attentive and promptly get you setup for massage room. Safe environment. Mall security rides by often. Come check it out.

It's a nice gym inside but the consideration for members is serverely lacking. A gym is supposed to work with it's members...you're there to improve your health and well-being. But denied access because of 1 late payment that will be paid in less than 8 days. Horrible customer service

I’ve never been to this location, but decided to go workout while my children attended the library. Upon entering I approached the front desk, a gentleman with dreadlocks was standing at the counter. I proceeded to tell him I didn’t have the app and could I give him my number. He made a no gesture with his head. I then asked why couldn’t I use my number as I always do. He explained if i don’t have the app I can only use my home gym. This was weird to me because I use my number at serval locations ellicott city, greenbelt , etc. I’ve never been told this, so I asked was this just policy at this location. He said no all locations. His demeanor gave off that he didn’t feel like being bothered.

Good gym. Pretty clean and the staff are helpful. I only wish there were more assist benches since they are almost always occupied when I get there. UPDATE (10/8/24): They got more benches. 🙌

Location works when I can’t make it to my home gym but it doesn’t seem clean. The hand sanitizer stations are ALWAYS empty! When I walked to the front desk the very polite rep said he’s tried on multiple occasions with management to get sanitizer and unfortunately nothing! We matter! We’re ultimately still in a pandemic and healthy precautions should still be in place! This is a simple ask! Go to a local store and put bottles in the desk!! Easy fix :(

I’ve been to various locations and this one is the most unwelcoming NEVER AGAIN! I was hounded by a worker today, and you guys know when it’s not what you say but how you say it.. it was that type of situation. When the manager was brought to me he wasn’t nice either and I was literally in the middle of doing a workout I just got off the machine cleaned it and left. I felt so discouraged today by a simple misunderstanding. I wasn’t bothering anyone I wasn’t loud or causing a scene. Being followed by the employee had all eyes on us and I just gave up and left. I don’t like conflict so I put my pride aside changed my clothes and went to the another location to finish my workout for the day. They were so pleasant and I was told that what the lady scolded me for was rude & uncalled for and actually not even a rule. Goodness stay far away from them they don’t even greet you here they just stand around and glare. I didn’t appreciate a man trying to argue with me I would’ve rather a female manager take me to the side and talk to me privately so we don’t interrupt others. Planet fitness is usually my comfort spot, I will try other locations from now on! It’s not the company it’s just rude employees

The best PF in Baltimore! In this location the locals inspire each other, and we keep each other motivated for our goals. This particular location is very communal and is full all hours of the day. The front desk staff is outstanding, and the cleaning lady is SUPERB. Come long enough and you'll be apart of the gym family here! I have lost over 80lbs in this gym, and have become a PT at another gym. That wouldn't have been possible without the supportive members and staff of this gym.

The common spaces of this facility were really clean and in good condition. The only issue when I visited was that the women’s bathroom was dirty and out of soap. In the “Black Card” area (where massage chairs are) they had the overhead lights on which was weird so I opted to skip that amenity today.

The original Planet Fitness I joined years ago, and one of the first in the area. This place has come a long way since the early days. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Lots of equipment. The place has a very uncrowded feel to it, with decent spacing between machines. Plenty of weights and cardio stations. A great place to get a good workout. Black Card membership is worth every penny. The benefits make it an excellent value. Especially the massage chairs and lounge.
