Best Gyms with Functional Training Equipment near Alvin, Texas

About 6 months ago I used to hate coming. The previous manager would hit on every girl that walked in including me. Recently tho, I gave it a chance again because of the new year and was pleased to be greeted at the door with motivating “get it in!” And when I leave it’s “good job, see you tomorrow”. The entire vibe is different and even the workers seem happy to be here making it an awesome experience. I don’t like that we always have to wait for the stair master but I was assured that might change soon so I’m excited for what they might be working on. There’s a young kid at the front named Jay who is always either cleaning something or smiling talking to the people working out answering questions. The gyms always spotless and even got a pic of how detailed they are! Seems like the new manager is always involved and not afraid to get his hands dirty to help his staff which is awesome to see, too. Just what a turn around I must say!

Planet Fitness provides the best facilities for maintaining a healthy lifestyle! The convenient locations give me the opportunity to work out while at home or on the road. PF’s affordable rates give everyone an opportunity to live a more healthy life!!!

They work hard to make sure their clients are happy. Facility is always clean and employees are all kind and courteous. Needs more equipment and the layout could use some work better flow of use. Haven’t had any significant issues here, would recommend.

I have some physical challenges and everyone has been so kind and helpful. Super comfortable atmosphere for those of us who are older. Lots of young people too! 😊

I wanted a gym that was not about selfies videos and Meathead lifters. Planet fitness checked that box. It is a very clean gym which I appreciate. Their staff and their customer service really stands out at the Alvin location. They are all super friendly, encouraging and attentive.

Imagine a football field covered in machines. One end zone has cardio, the other has the crazy "functional" stuff. That's how good this gym is. Its probably 50 yards, though. They have almost everything.

Have nothing but wonderful experiences at Anytime Fitness in Alvin. Staff knowledgeable and helpful in achieving health and fitness goals.

Initially, there were some hiccups with the access fob, but the gym promptly addressed the issue. It turned out to be a complication from the franchise provider, not a fault of the local owner. The local ownership is one aspect that I genuinely value. The owners have always been incredibly kind and accommodating, fostering a welcoming environment that makes each workout session enjoyable. I appreciate knowing that I’m supporting a local business with each visit, and their commitment to quality service has not gone unnoticed. I’m hopeful that the current owners will continue to manage this gym for many years to come, maintaining the friendly atmosphere and quality service that I’ve come to enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to everyone looking for a well-maintained, locally-owned fitness center with a diverse range of equipment and the convenience of 24-hour access.

I Just moved to Alvin and I do NOT recommend this gym, Customer service is the most poor and unorganized system I have ever see. The manager Sophia is extremely rude and does not have any respect towards customers or newcomers looking for a gym in Alvin, I expected a welcoming community when I had moved here but I am now looking into different gyms near the area because Anytime Fitness simply does not suffice, I do not recommend to anyone who is looking for a gym in the Alvin area.
