I am deeply disappointed with the way Lifetime handled a recent situation at their daycare. A 4.5-year-old child was banned for three months because of hitting incidents. While this behavior can be challenging, it's not unusual for children of that age, especially when they’re adjusting to a new environment. I met the mother, who shared that they had recently moved from overseas, which makes this even more heartbreaking. Instead of addressing the issue with understanding and guidance, the manager and teacher chose an overly harsh and aggressive approach. Banning a young child for three months is not a solution—it's punitive and lacks compassion. Lifetime should invest in proper training for their staff to handle such situations better. I expected a more professional and empathetic approach, especially from a facility that prides itself on being family-friendly. This was a very disappointing experience.

My favorite gym! It’s like a resort with the huge outdoor indoor pool . Café outside and in . They have so many different fitness classes ! Their instructors are awesome . Shout out to… Guliana ,Evonne, Laura ,Lauren 💪🏾💞 Lots of great instructors . They keep it pretty clean. Café has great options.. it’s a great family Gym They have several around the state if you want something a little bit more upscale go to the one in chestnut Hill quieter and like a spa. I prefer Westwood

They keep raising their monthly dues, they keep removing gym equipment, and the arrangement of the equipment makes no sense. The gym itself lacks a lot of the basics, and they changed their kids academy hours during the day, 8-12 and 4-8 where they used to be all day, and they no longer open at 4am Friday - Sunday. They limit their hours, the raise prices of food, spa and membership and we’ve got little return. Membership is now over $300!! This isn’t the original lifetime that opened where the members came first and foremost and what makes sense for bringing a “luxury” health club to the area. Very disappointing. Corporate greed seems to be the direction they’re going over a strong business model that is customer service based. They’re saving $ where they can while charging more for less luxury and less amenities. I highly recommend the the GM get more equipment like Peabody has and rearrange the location of the machines. They have a leg press in front of a mirror and a squat rack against a window? The fly machines are way too close to the pull-up machine. They need a larger dumbbell area and more benches. There is a lot of wasted space. Who up the corporate ladder was hired to arrange the equipment like this? With as much money as this company brings in, they could do a whole lot better with what they offer in the gym. They made a large opening for people to walk to pickle ball and removed gym equipment months ago and never replaced it. This is a GYM first and foremost and should be the focus. The locker rooms are also not that clean, and the lockers themselves are filthy inside and the locks always get stuck even if you enter right combo. It’s not worth the price. As a “luxury” club that charges over $300/month they need to do BETTER Lots of frustrations with this gym.

** EDIT REVIEW FOR AUGUST 29TH 2024** So recently this Lifetime Location got new equipment, which was long overdue. I will give credit where credit is due, the new equipment is nice and up to date. However.... They removed the weight stacks throughout the gym. As a result you are seeing gym plates laid on the floor, against the machine, and bigger plates on top of small plates on the machines. For example, they added a preacher curl machine in the dumbbell area, however there is no weight stack to add or remove your weights on the machine. You need to walk across the gym and you'll be lucky to find the weight you need. As a result members are leaving the weights either on the machine or on the floor. I've voiced this concern to multiple employees on multiple occasions, to get no where. It's making the weight/ workout area a mess and even more cluttered. This is an issue that should be address and could be easily fixed by bringing back the weight stacks throughout the gym.

Our three-year-old son sustained two injuries within a month. Despite the club management’s denial of any responsibility, we believe there is a significant oversight in the safety measures implemented at the children’s academy. This has led us to lose confidence in the institution’s ability to ensure the safety of our children. Two photographs attached for two separate incidents, one of which involved a bite on his face and the other a bloody scratch on his face.
