A customer service was great but the women's bathroom was horribly every Star was nasty and disgusting I was about to take a picture but I decided not to I went to the front counter and told the woman about the nasty bathrooms she said she'll clean them again she said that she just cleaned them but I really didn't believe her because you could tell the filthiness in that bathroom it was there for a little second. But she was nice about it but I never seen the bathroom that filthy since I've been going there as a member and it's been almost four years being a member

This location is pretty good, but there are a few other PFs that set a higher standard! Showers, locker rooms, and bathrooms are marginally clean. The sink fixtures don't exactly work correctly and are difficult to get the water to stay on just to get a few seconds of hand washing. Otherwise, the equipment is well maintained and the gym floor is immaculate. It would be nice if the showers and bathrooms were cleaner and in better working order, but that is a VERY common theme among all PFs across the country.

I am a cargo van driver and I travel all over the country so I do my workouts and showers at every gym from coast to coast in the US. In some gyms the cleanliness is good, in others it is bad. I always considered that the cleanliness and treatment of each location, regardless of the company, everything depends on the owner of the franchise. I have rated some gyms as bad services and others as excellent services. As I had the experience in a gym in Dallas, Texas, for me that gym is five stars, But unfortunately I cannot say that about this gym. The bathrooms are dirty and damaged. You can see the photos. I did not want to take photos of the equipment because it did not present any problems. But the cleaning of the men's bathroom was very bad.

Great gym I have visited many over the years in new Tampa.and this is my favorite. Lots of equipment. Very clean. Music never seems to be too loud. Friendly staff especially Ralph Highly. I look forward to my gym days here and I highly recommend it.

At this branch (2546 E Bearss Ave Unit C, Tampa, FL 33613), all the staff are good, but there is one trainer named Darren who is extremely rude, and his customer service skills are non-existent. I was there and wanted to show the facilities to my family. They were considering registering for a gym membership but wanted to see how it operated. Instead of welcoming us and offering a tour, Darren was extremely rude. He told us we couldn't go inside and had to enter one by one. He also asked me to scan my membership code, which I did, so he would know who I was. He then told me to register my family as guests in the app, but they were unfamiliar with the environment and didn't know how to use the app. Firstly, Darren should have shown us around, and only after that, asked if they were interested in becoming members. Instead, he rudely told us to leave, saying, 'I don't want you to stay here.' I have been a member since 2018, but this was an extremely unpleasant experience for me. After us, another customer arrived to look around, and he told them the same thing, 'You should register, don't even think to hire him as a trainer!' He didn't show any respect or courtesy, which is unacceptable for a trainer.

I frequently visit this gym, and while I enjoy the facilities and atmosphere, I’ve noticed that most of the paper rollers are not working. This is quite inconvenient, especially when trying to maintain cleanliness during workouts. I hope the management can address this issue soon so that everyone can have a better experience. Otherwise, it’s a great place to work out

I love coming to this gym. It’s more of a family than business. Darren the trainer is amazing. I’ve lost so much weight with him. He motivates me in more ways than physical. He holds me accountable and encourages me. I appreciate the the bond we have. Because of him, I recommend everyone to come. Take his trainer session and be transformed.

I participate in the Active Older Adults programs. What a robust schedule of activities, both physical and mental! I do three circuit classes a week. I also joined the monthly Book Club and discovered many genres of books that I would never have read before. I also attend the financial seminars and the monthly lunch bunch. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The trainers are absolutely awesome! I love it at the New Tampa Y!

I love the YMCA at Tampa palms. They cater to seniors. I like this swimming classes at the floor exercise classes which are geared for senior abilities. I am also grateful that the classes are not early in the morning since I am not an early riser.

I have my son signed up for basketball there, communication is a joke, they cancelled Halloween day training with no communication with us, I ended up driving there just to find out it’s cancelled, they cancelled again now in December with no communication and I ended up taking my son there only to find out it was cancelled again!!!! Absolutely no consideration for people’s time and money. My son is so disappointed!! When you speak with the front desk, they are like we can’t help you, it’s not through us!!! Terrible experience

This YMCA is great! It’s clean, totally equipped, helpful staff and lots of classes for everyone. And it has plenty of parking!
