Best Gyms with Free Wi Fi near Malden, Massachusetts

I have been going to this gym for two years and it is a solid gym in a good location. There is plenty of equipment and it has a great layout. The spacious studio is especially a plus. The staff is helpful and Laura in particular is a great personal trainer who always makes me feel welcome. Alex, at the front desk is also very kind and has helped me on several occasions. The gym can get very busy and it's worth going earlier in the morning.

Ok so I had no issues with this gym. Until the classes. I'm gonna be honest i don't want to be removed from the heavy bags or excluded from using them just so your trainer can meet their class quota. Also I don't want to schedule my gym session so that I have to avoid these classes.

This Crunch has the most ideal layout. While warming up from the stair master I was able to plan my route for the workout as this was my first visit. The bathrooms were spacious and ok clean. The staff was super friendly and chill. There's plenty of equipment variety. The only Con was the gym members. It was very obvious they don't follow the typical gym courtesies. One of the members attempted to take 2 plates of 10lbs as I was actively using them and there were plenty of others near him. Many other members had strong body odor. Way more than usual. I wouldn't mind returning, but I will try to visit at a different time. It was very surprising how full this gym was at 10am on a Wednesday. Another note, there was an abdominal section. This was very unique as I didn't have to look for space. Huge plus!

Vania, the manager in Malden, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been to many other gyms and this gym ranks number 1 among them. They have top class machines as well as a handful of machines I have never seen before that have proven very effective.

I recently signed up with one of the personal trainers Laura. She was so welcoming as soon as I walked in and signed me up for a kick off training session with her. I liked that we were able to talk and get to know each other a bit. To give her a sense of what my goals were to set up a plan and reach them together. I look forward to my sessions with her because she pushes me and motivates me to work harder and stay consistent. (And not skip meals, lol)

I have been to many PF clubs across the US. This is not only the smallest, but also the least kept. The machines are old and always broke. The tanning beds (especially #3) are in horrible condition. There are more bulbs out than are working. Half the time there isn't paper towels in the dispensers. Just unacceptable. Is there a GM? I have mentioned more than 5 times about the bulbs. They still have bed 3 open and are using without replacing. Just don't get it ...this doesn't meet PF standards from my experience ...ty.

Planet Fitness Malden, MA recently illegally debited my credit/debit card for 49.00$ that I did not owe them. I had to argue with the staff and manager about the illegal withdrawal and so did my bank. I have to cancel my Planet Fitness gym membership to prevent future illegal withdrawals on my bank account.

This PF needs serious upgrades to their worn down machines and a better mirror/bench system. Ive been here one other time, years ago, and noticed the worn out or even broken cushioning machines…and they were still here today! The only nice thing about this gym is the cardio machines and the bathrooms. Other than that..way too small; they should be embarrassed of letting the people of Malden down like this they deserve better with unbroken machines especially in front of our nice police station. Good area but needs serious improvements and more mirror space so your butt isn’t in front of someones face if you need the mirror not for bench! >:( I deadasss went here then drove to Danvers to use their spacious and unbroken gym. I wont be back for a couple more years and let yall know if it has improved.

1. Some of the machine aren’t stable when you pull or push, like back machine and the chest machine, I fear ppl who do high weighted sets are at risk of injury 2. The sidewalk ramp getting into the parking lot is wayyyy too high, ppl keep scratching their bumpers on the surface 3. Bathroom nasty, please get the janitor to clean it at least every hour or at least after the wave of ppl and it dies down

Poor equipment maintenance. It's been broken for 3 weeks.
