Dear Planet Fitness Manager/Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your Frisco location on Preston. On December 26, 2024, I visited the facility around 9:00 AM using a guest pass. I was warmly greeted by a staff member at the front desk, an African American gentleman, who kindly shared about his holiday and asked about mine as well. He checked our IDs, processed our guest passes, and mentioned that the pass might also work the following day, suggesting I check to confirm. On December 27, I noticed that the guest pass displayed the current date, so I assumed it was valid and attempted to visit the club again around the same time. Upon arriving, I successfully checked in and entered the gym. However, I had to step out briefly for a session. When I returned to retrieve my belongings from the locker (11am) I was confronted by a Caucasian staff member, who had assisted me the previous day. In front of other members, he told me I wasn’t supposed to be there. I tried to explain that I was simply retrieving my bags, but he persisted, making the situation unnecessarily uncomfortable. This public confrontation left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. I understand the need for rules and policies, but the communication regarding the guest pass validity was unclear. The way the situation was handled could have been more professional and considerate, especially since I was not attempting to misuse the pass. I kindly request that you review this matter and provide clarity on your guest pass policies to prevent similar situations in the future. Additionally, I hope this feedback can help improve customer interactions for a more positive and welcoming experience.

We thought Planet Fitness will showcase more professionalism in terms of customer satisfaction but it looks Like Planet Fitness shown no respect to the members, there is complete messy environment for now including the machines Most of the machines they just dumped into and they are either Broken or not working, most of the treadmills just shakes. We asked for Paper towel they stopped providing and front desk just says they don’t have it Most importantly they keep the lobby locked until 0500 AM, they should keep lobby open so that we early riser can wait their to avoid chilling temperatures in the morning. Completely dissatisfied

I have been going to this planet fitness now for three weeks. It's always maintained and clean. Abel who greets you is very welcoming and give a positive vibe. The people who work out around you do not bother you. What I also like about this gym are the people, people actually say hi. So overall a very positive and welcoming feel to the place

Seems a good facility and staff. The posted phone number is useless however: you'll be punished with a 10-30 minute wait and a recorded "offer" to "text your question instead"...?! After reviewing membership terms I have a serious question concerning ongoing charges. They mention paying in full per year to avoid ongoing charges. But I see no way to do this. It seems they want to keep changing you, while putting a huge burden on you to cancel or stop membership if desired/ needed. This is deeply concerning.

One of the best Planet Fitness locations I have ever been to. The staff here is always friendly and helpful; this alone makes me want to go to the gym. The manager, Rome is awesome, and sets a good tone for the rest of the team here. Thank you, PF family.

My parents, in their 80s, love this workout exercise facility. At $50/year per person, they said it’s the best senior exercise place ever. They love the instructors, classes (stretching and yoga), and walking trail, etc. I only wished I could join this place.

The facility is nice, but they have GOT to get and KEEP more than one good class instructor! Pay them more or whatever it takes. They cancel classes ALOT. We've heard every excise in the books...we're trying, we can get anyone, it's the head office fault....goes on and on. We PAY a monthly fee, if you dont keep a regular schedule of classes, then refund our $$$. They added an instructor last month and now allow her to just take off on a one month vacation ! And they give away free breads and pasteries on Tuesday...AFTER they hold back all the stuff they want in the office behind the wall. I asked one time, hey where is the stuff I saw you unloading from your car just now?"....she said its all on the table....that was a LIE as there was a shopping cart full in the office ! It's already OLD, give it away....early bird gets the worm. And they have a paper suggestion box to write comments....yeah, like we dont think you go thru the box and remove negative complaints...ah, no thank you....

There are two pickleball courts in the back of building. One can drop in and play for free. There is a groups of pickleball players that show up in the morning and evening. There are seating area to watch and they are so friendly. Come and join them in a game.

A wonderful new center that provides activities , games, billiards, ping pong, dance classes, movies , lunch celebrations, physical improvement equipment, Mah Jong, miscellaneous games, and super meet up areas to make friends, and socialize . A walking or three wheel bicycle trail along game courts, an amphitheater, a fountain pond, and natural woods is yours to enjoy. What more could we ask for ?

Only went to vote so, review is limited. Facility is new, clean and parking is ample. There is quite a bit of well placed handicap parking both by the door and the front of the lot.

Just wanted to leave a shout out to Thane. He's an awesome salesman/employee at CF Frisco! Kind, friendly, professional and definitely not pushy. I read some of the other reviews about jerks who worked there but, since CF is so close to home, I had to judge for myself. Gotta take what you read with a little grain of salt. I did my research and asked what the policy was before I signed up. It was pretty straight forward. Gym is clean and not crazy packed when I go which is roughly after 8pm. I hear it does get packed after 5pm, though. Overall, nice gym. Glad I joined. A new CF opened in Plano, so to potential new members, if you live within 15min of that new location, go there! Will be a new gym and not so crowded!

After the demise of Texas Family Fitness via absorbtion by Planet Fitness, and having tried what was supposed to be my new gym with Planet Fitness, I felt that I needed to go with another option. Fortunately, there was a well maintained Crunch Fitness relatively close by. I am impressed with the Crunch Fitness in Frisco, and after quite a few years of gym experience (free weights and machine weights mostly) at Texas Family Fitness, and having tried other gyms in the past, I found this gym to be pretty excellent. It's because of a few appealing qualities that add up: It's really big and really well equipped for a gym. This means that I was able to find just about every piece of gym equipment I could think of, and there were several multiples of almost each piece of equipment. This all seems to add up to not having to worry about waiting in line to use equipment, even when the gym is busy. The atmosphere is appealing. It has a sort of "big open loft" feel to the space, and the colors of the interior decoration/wall paint is actually kinda nice, rather than bland like most gyms. The equipment itself all seems to be kept up with and maintained better than what I experienced at Texas Family Fitness, such as all of the cable machines pulling smoothly and without "jerking/skips" hindering the motion of the pull. There is a slight increase in price for the base membership compared to what I was paying at Texas Family Fitness, but it is pretty much negligible and worth it compared to the quality difference between the two gyms. I'm sure there are some cons to be found somewhere, but can't think of any just yet, other than Preston Road being annoying and necessary to deal with in order to get to this gym. I'm pretty happy with this gym.

I've enjoyed going to this gym a lot. It's spacious on the inside. Each sections is dedicated for each training goal. The workout areas are always clean and well maintained. The restroom can use the same treatment, though. It's smelly in there. Front desk is attentive and friendly. Too bad I am moving away and have to cancel my membership. They charge me a last month of membership even though I can't use it anymore.

Worst than a used car lot. Their management style is “bother customers every day to buy something”. Garbage environment too. There’s 30 better gyms than this in frisco. Still getting charged even tho I cancelled.

This is my favorite place to be! Burn has everything you need. They have a great balance between strength and cardio days each week and never the same workout. All of the trainers are great and know exactly how to push you to do your best. The gym is always very clean. As a mom the best part is complimentary child watch! I am able to prioritize myself for 45 minutes each day knowing my son is having a blast in child watch. If you are thinking about giving Burn a try DO IT! You won’t regret it!

Burn boot camp has a ton of locations - and Frisco is one of the best, hands down!! From the elite training staff, to the friendly community and updated space!! It is so much more than a gym. I've been attending Burn Boot Camp off and on since January, but for the past two months, I've stuck to a consistent schedule. Even after time off, I never feel judged—just welcomed back. The workouts push me to challenge myself, and I love that every trainer provides modifications, making it accessible for all fitness levels. A special shoutout to Natty, who is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Her energy and motivation keep me going, and I love taking her class. She cheers me on and helps me power through the toughest exercises. Rita is another standout. She’s incredibly supportive and always makes sure my form is on point. Her kindness and warmth make me feel welcome in every class. Mark and Tricia have truly built a supportive community, and I’m genuinely excited to work out—something I never thought I’d say.

I love Burn Boot Camp in Frisco. I've been going for about a year. I've lost weight and I've gotten stronger. The trainers are supportive and knowledgeable. I enjoy being encouraged to work harder than I would on my own. The classes are great for motivation!

Prior to attending my first camp (a pop up camp in the parking lot before they were even officially open) at Burn Boot Camp Frisco, I was very strenuously NOT a gym/group workout/weight lifting person AT ALL. Fast forward nearly eight years - and I am still there. The workout is never the same twice, all my body parts get worked out without me having to plan it . . . But it’s really about the people. If I don’t see my Burn Family, my day just isn’t the same.
