After attending this gym for nearly 8 months, I can give an accurate review. In short, if this is your only option, then of course this is better than nothing. But that’s it. 1 star review because: -bathrooms are disgusting -trash is overflowing -the equipment is subpar for a $60 month membership. - barbells have 0 knurling - much of the equipment is in need of WD40 - you pay an equipment maintenance fee, but if a machine breaks it will be broken for months. The only reason why I am here is because I can’t drive to my old gym in vista anymore due to life changes. Once my home gym is finished I am cancelling my membership. If your goal is to take your lifting to the next level, I highly recommend either: driving an extra 30 minutes to Oceanside or vista where there are other gyms, or invest in a home gym. If you can’t do either of those, then get your membership here and get the gains you can. You have been warned.

I am traveling and trying to use this gym for the 2nd time this week. I haven’t been able to enter each time. No mention on the website of the front window being broken, the gym having limited hours and being closed at times. There is a sign that says to go to the back entrance but no more specific details of how to get there. At least an arrow would have helped! Upon calling to get more information during posted staff hours there is an error message. This does not seem like my Anytime Fitness.

The quality has diminished significantly, all the equipment is falling apart and on top of that filthy, with layers of dust. The least they can do is keep the gym clean for members who are still here. They are equally as expensive as other gyms, choose wisely.

Not only have they not been 24 hours for months but half of their cardio machines aren't working. Please look at the stair climbers and stationary bikes. I NEED to use the stationary bikes due to my disability so if the last one that's working stops working I won't be able to work out here anymore. I'm not going to keep paying a gym if I can't even use the equipment. I don't know what's going on here but management seems to not care at all.

I stopped by to address this issue and the manager was not on the premises. I called this past April and spoke with the manager to make him aware that unless I can have a month to month membership, I will no longer be a member of Anytime Fitness. I received billing for April and paid it even though I had not been to Anytime Fitness since February. In May I personally came in and spoke with the manager and reiterated that I spend 6 weeks in Colorado and 6 weeks in California and that unless I could participate on a monthly basis, that I will no longer be a member of Anytime Fitness. Yet, I still receive billing notices and annoying 1-800 phone calls about my past due payments. What does it take to stop this billing and phone calls! I made it clear in April and May to the "managers" that unless I can participate on a month to month basis that my membership is no longer effective. I paid for two months that I was no longer participating at the facility. In light of the fact that I contacted the managers and made it clear I would no longer continue my membership. I refuse to
