Best Gyms with Free Wi Fi near Edmond, Oklahoma

Loved this gym till they shut the showers down at 9 pm. Instead of 10, Showers are a part of what we pay for in our membership. This is unacceptable.

This Planet Fitness location is a decent gym with a good selection of equipment and a welcoming environment. I always appreciated the variety of machines and free weights available, and I never felt judged or intimidated. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. However, there were a few downsides that ultimately led me to switch gyms. The limited hours were a major inconvenience, as I prefer to work out late. It needs to be 24/7. Additionally, the men's bathroom was often dirty, and the machines could have used a deeper clean. While the gym generally seemed tidy, visible sweat marks on the equipment were a common sight. Overall, I would give this Planet Fitness 3 out of 5 stars. It's a good option for those seeking a budget-friendly gym with a positive atmosphere, but those with specific scheduling needs, want more amenities or high standards for cleanliness might want to consider other options.

I used to be a member and after I decided to cancel my membership, I was asked to go to the gym and cancel my membership in person which I did around August 2024. I wasn’t paying attention to my bank account and beginning of 2025 I realized that I was being charged for the past 5 months as well as another annual fee for this year. I went back and talked to the manager and she said she will cancel my membership and will get me reimbursed for the amounts charged to my account. Not only I have not received my money back yet, also I was told that the refund request was denied because the person who processed the cancellation did not finalize it. I would not recommend this Gym to anyone else and please be careful with your automatic payment process as well. I will also file a claim with Better Business Bureau. It’s not about the money, it’s about being charged for someone else’s mistake. Note: the staff are friendly and respectful. It’s the business not the individuals

Great gym at a great price. Staff are always amazing. Never any judgement and people are willing to help the newbies. The hardest part of having a gym membership, is getting to the gym. Stay consistent.

It’s convenient because they have so many locations. It’s clean and has a variety of equipment. Price is affordable!

Nice first impression absolutely horrible process to cancel membership. As a consumer I look towards clubs to provide honest and transparent communication. My membership was eligible for buyout and I was told I would be able to cancel online. Both times I attempted have failed. The first time I was repeatedly unable to access my account. This is a known issue and well documented with the BBB (just take a peak) who Edmond is not a certified member of and with whom they currently as of this writing have an F rating with. The second attempt I was told on the phone call after writing membership would be cancelled, talked to the gym they once again confirmed again dishonest I received an email that I was again ineligible for cancellation. Hopefully if you are reading this you aren't already a member. If you are and it is past April of 2025 you can fall back on the 2024 FTC ruling about click to cancel which stipulates it must be at least as easy to cancel as it is to join. That is not the case here as the membership is handled by a third party vendor and the process is set up to create failure (just an opinion). Rarely do I leave negative reviews, but buyers beware and do your homework. It's cheap for a reason. Pay more get more from an ethical gym with a transparent FTC compliant process.

10 Gym has this great workout called Cancelation process! It will get your heart rate up to new levels and fuel all your other workouts with pure rage. You can talk to the gym managers, who will send you to corporate, who will send you to another 3rd party, who will send you back to the gym manager. This work out is guaranteed to change up every time you do it, and comes with free motivational on hold music.The cool thing is that you don't even need to be there to do it. I have not been there in months and still get this workout every month!

I recently had an incredible experience at the gym thanks to Quincy. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to helping members achieve their fitness goals. Quincy took the time to explain different workouts and offered personalized advice that made a real difference in my routine. His positive attitude is infectious, and he always goes the extra mile to ensure everyone feels welcome and motivated. If you’re looking for guidance or just a great atmosphere, Quincy is the person to see! Highly recommend!

I went to 10 Gym for several years. Off and on, just like my fitness journey. I would exercise my body, and try to get fit. I appreciate their commitment to low prices. I appreciate that they give good value for that price. I have decided to leave the gym for personal reasons, since I spend more time at church and work now. But, they were very kind when I made the decision. They have always been a good gym. I signed up for personal training about two years ago. I wanted to leave because I have prioritized things in my life other than the gym. I did not make it clear that my intent was to back out of personal training. They quickly informed me of my missed payments. I told them I did not wish to attend any more sessions, with about two months left on the contract. We have been on good terms, despite the challenges of finances, which is an important part of my personal life and their business, as a gym. All I'm saying is, they were never rude or unprofessional during those conversations. Like I said, they are kind and workable and I value that even more than their nice equipment. God bless!

This place is disgusting. Dirty showers, mold in the bathroom and on the floors, iv never seen these guys cleaning this establishment. There should be more then 1 person working at a gym this size to keep this place in order. So many other gyms to choose from... Yall won't be getting another penny from me.
