Best Gyms with Free Weights near Union, New-jersey

This gym is Legit! I have 2 different gym membership, and this one is my top notch in my list. I joined here during pandemic, this is the only gym open that time and allowed to operate by township because of their appointments program.. This gym has a great, clean and updated equipment. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Equipment are always clean not only by the cleaning person but also the all members are disciplined to clean after using. They have cleaning supplies to use all over the place. Shower room and bathroom are always monitored for cleanliness. I also like the way it’s minimum 18 years old to be a members and 24 hours operation, i can come here anytime even holidays or snow storm. Parking lot is huge, no issues of finding parking spot even peak hours. Hopping this gym stays the way it is forever.

I’ve been a member of this gym for almost a year and it’s been such a great experience. The staff was super knowledgeable and transparent about pricing and the options I had when first joining. I have since then visited a number of AF locations in various cities and states, and this has been the most well maintained and cleanest location of them all. Equipment is seldom broken and always repaired quickly. The owner clearly cares about the gym as I’ve seen a new lat pulldown, ellipticals and most recently a ski erg machine added.

This location has shown blatant discrimination and disrespectful behavior. Reported to corporate and will continue to share the experience here and especially by this atrocious worker. She is an repulsive representative of this gym and has shown that customer service is not her strong suit.

This might be the nicest AF I've visited yet. Great selections of equipment, everything in good shape, very few visitors, extremely clean bathrooms with a whopping for showers!

Recently became a member of this gym & I can say with all honesty that this gym is amazing! Great owner & staff, they are extremely helpful & took the time to show me around the gym to give me a glimpse of what I'll be working with. It's extremely organized & clean here at this specific location. Well im officially a member & day 1 was intriguing with a lot of work done. Forgot to mention that they are open 24 Hrs as well, it doesn't get any better than that. Thank you Anytime Fitness! Just a quick update : It's been about 2 weeks since I've became a member here & I'm completely addicted to working out & getting in shape! What a wonderful experience. Wanted to mention how clean this gym is, after using a machine or equipment you must clean it with the cleaning products they provide which is placed all over the gym, cleanliness is next to Godliness. Once I got into the plaza I wasn’t able to see the location. Just be mindful if it’s your first time there that the establishment is all the way to the right of Home Depot. I loved how the outside of the building looked. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is extremely clean. The guy that was cleaning the premises that night was so nice and such a hard worker. There are a few machines that are on the newer side compared to other gyms. It seems like a lot of the planet fitness location have the same set up now.

Always clean and inviting. The staff is courteous friendly and responsive. All the amenities are always available and properly maintained!

I used to go a lot more than a year ago, but I stopped going (Never stop paying even if you don't go ) I went again today to convince my friend to go with me, but I hate how cheap and selfish the massages are. I almost never go. I tried to get my friend to get a membership so we could go together. The lady refused me 10 minutes of massages from my membership, which encouraged me to cancel the membership and go to another one that is not cheap but more permissive.

I find this gym to be very unsafe. I was assaulted and my teeth were broken. The entire time I was being beaten on, none of the staff members intervened, and I had barely been able to escape to call the police myself! Making matters worse, even though I left in an ambulance, they still had to "talk" to the other member before considering banning him, which they refused to confirm with me if they did. I have a lawyer investigating the case now, and they are being very uncooperative to my lawyer's requests, mostly by not responding adequately to them. I would rate this gym a negative star if I could, and out of concern for your safety, I recommend not going to this gym.

Decent gym.. you get what's needed. A bit on the smaller side. Some wasted spaces that they can work with
