This gym was amazing and I am giving it five stars because the staff is very nice and amazing. The price is worth it because the gym is so clean and everyone is so respectful and it has all of the equipment. Very good gym would recommend to work out there go work out at fit one. It is amazing. I am not a bot. I promise. Bots wouldn’t say this This: among us among us among us.

Awesome gym. Went here a few years ago and stopped going. Now it’s so much better and cleaner. Seems better taken care of. Also had a great tour by gym staff showing me things I didn’t even know existed my first time around going here. Great staff, and Parker is my favorite.

Fit1 in Rexburg isn’t just a gym—it’s a sanctuary for personal growth, self-discovery, and transformation. Walking through those doors feels like stepping into a world where every piece of equipment and every word of encouragement is tailored to your success. But what truly sets Fit1 apart is the heart and soul of the operation: the Manager. From the moment I met them, I was struck by their incredible energy and genuine passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. They weren’t just managing a gym; they were cultivating a community. Their wisdom, warmth, and relentless drive to ensure every member’s experience is exceptional made a profound impact on me. And then there’s the Assistant Manager—who happens to be the Manager’s spouse. This dynamic duo created an environment that felt not only professional but deeply personal. Their partnership was seamless, their enthusiasm contagious, and their shared vision for Fit1 palpable in every interaction. Together, they turned what could have been an ordinary gym experience into something extraordinary. Their synergy as a couple enhanced every aspect of the gym, bringing a sense of unity, trust, and inspiration that is impossible to replicate. Now, let’s talk about the infamous contract. Before signing up, I was presented with the details in such a transparent, thorough manner that there could be no misunderstanding. The Manager’s ability to explain the terms was impeccable, and they made absolutely sure I knew what I was agreeing to. Honestly, if I were to miss any of those details, it would be a reflection on my own inattentiveness—a burden I would willingly shoulder! Let it be known that Fit1 does not hide behind fine print; they shine a spotlight on it. It’s almost comical to think of myself as a modern-day Prometheus, bearing the weight of my own understanding before daring to sign the document! Fit1 is so much more than a gym—it’s a place where you are uplifted, encouraged, and reminded of your potential every single day. I’ve never encountered a team so dedicated to the success of their members, and I will forever be grateful for the impact the Manager, their spouse, and the entire Fit1 staff have had on my life. If you’re in Rexburg and searching for not just a gym but a transformative experience, Fit1 is where you’ll find it. Don’t hesitate. Just go. And don’t forget to bring your A-game when reading the contract—it’s not just a piece of paper; it’s a declaration of your commitment to a better you!

I would highly recommend Adam Nelson for anyone looking for an excellent trainer. I met with Adam 3 days a week over the past 4 months at the Rexburg Fit One and the results have exceeded my expectations. Adam has a passion for fitness and training as well as extensive knowledge and experience. The training not only included strength and muscle building but also focused on nutrition and rest that would maximize results.

I’ve been going here for almost 2 years. one thing i would change about the rexburg one is adding white lights instead of the yellow ones. the yellow ones make the gym sesh a little tired when i come in at 5. I feel like white lights would make me awake more. But overall great gym!!

Very pleased with this gym. It is a bit on the pricier side, but you also do not pay a startup or an annual fee, so it balances out for me. I just wish they had a hack squat or pendulum squat, but I also am unsure where they could even fit that. It isn't too busy, unless you are planning on working out at 6 am or 5pm, but that is almost every gym. Management is the best and I can't recommend this place enough.

I’ve always had a good experience here! If I have a problem or issue, the staff is super friendly and helpful and always make sure I get taken care of. As far as the gym facilities; they keep the gym very clean and there are always plenty of fresh towels for the showers and cleaning/ sweat. I’m always impressed that equipment is kept up very well and clean. The gym does get busy here and there but that just proves that everyone loves this gym, however I rarely have to wait for the equipment that I want and I find myself constantly having access to the equipment I need. In addition to the outstanding equipment and facilities, the staff are always keeping up with any maintenance that is needed. For instance, today at the gym the drinking fountain was out of order but they provided water bottles for us to use which I think is awesome!

From signing up for a membership online to receiving my key fob to my workouts, everything has been great. The customer service I experienced was great, not pushy at all, didn't try to sell me on anything and was very relaxed yet friendly. The gym is always clean, especially the bathrooms which I appreciate. There's always somebody cleaning in the gym whether they're vacuuming or wiping down machines. This gym is tiny, but it's never overcrowded and the other members here are respectful and it's a great environment to work out in!

I wore my byui t shirt with the word capstone on it because it looks exactly the same as the byui gym clothes. I didn’t notice the word capstone until I came in and they did not let me in. It was so weird because literally the guy who came in before me wore a light blue hoodie and there were other guys wearing beige and pink t-shirt inside the gym.

Decent gym with lots of options for a workout. However, it seems each machine is slowly collecting the "Out of Order" award. Not sure why that is. 🤔

There are too many students during the semesters, and they're closed during holidays. Machines are often broken (due to misuse or lack of control from students) and sometimes take several weeks to repair. TVs are often frozen, lagging, or inopperable. It is nice to go in for free for both my wife and I, though parking is limited and getting a pass is difficult (spouses can not get a parking pass near the center). Tips for coming here: 1. Don't waste money buying gym clothing unless you like shorts and t-shirts (which cost you $50 a pair). Instead, wear approved sweatpants and a hoodie (which are allowed). Even pajamas qualify for appropriate wear, so take advantage and save some money. 2. Parking is ticketed from 7am-5pm on weekdays. So, going in the morning or after 5 pm (and before 11 pm when they close) is the best way to not have to buy a parking pass and still work out for free. 3. Best times to work out (based on personal experience): Weekdays= Opening-4pm & 9pm-close Weekends= Almost anytime, though evenings are typically busier (4pm-8pm) 4. Call in to see if hours vary for holidays or breaks. Many times, Google maps and the website don't reflect the actual hours of the fitness center. I've found that calling ahead to ask about hours has been helpful in saving me the drive. If they don't answer, they probably aren't open. I'd prefer to work out at Planet Fitness or another gym if I didn't spend all of my money on college.

I’m grateful for a free gym and a university that offers tuition at a very low rate. That being said the dress code at the gym is obviously in place for a reason. I get it and I follow it. My understanding is that it ensures modesty while working out. But when me or my husband are asked to leave because we don’t have the BYUI logo on our blue shorts it just feels a little too nitpicking. We have come in perfectly modest clothes and ones very identical to the required uniform… just no logo on the shorts. I just don’t understand who or what I’m hurting by not wearing the BYUI approved shorts. Oh, but I forgot if I wear black sweat pants it’s fine if it doesn’t have to have the logo. I’m just hoping by this review that those who make the rules and those students who run everything on campus will think more about the spirit of law rather than just the letter of the law. Because right now it doesn’t feel like it’s about being modest it feels more like I’m just trying to be controlled. *For reference these are the shorts compared to the BYUI required ones.
