Had a great experience here. Jackie took the time to give a tour and explain everything. The place is clean and quiet. I like that they maintain rules about not slamming weights or engaging in attention demanding loud grunting as it disrupts everyone else’s focus. I had a rigorous workout followed by a hydro massage. Will be here every day!

Planet Fitness, just few short miles away, is clean, well-maintained, and recently added new machines. The equipment is always in great condition, and the friendly staff ensures a welcoming environment. Great value for a quality gym!

I called this morning (12/5) to transfer my membership to a different state in order to cancel. To be fair, I was not in the best mood and was probably not nice to the nice lady who helped me. She informed me that i couldnt cancel unless i paid the annual fee that was due (even though I had not gone to the gym in that state/in general for over 2 years). She ended up waiving the fees after I called back. Amazing customer service to my grumpy self. Did not catch her name but do recommend this location as it was clean and in a safe area.

The showers at this location are absolutely disgusting, dirty, stink, garbage in stalls. I feel dirty even after showering. Inside lockers are dirty as well. Have told front desk couple times and nothing changes. might have to find a different gym to go to. First time i tried planet fitness. Now i know why they are the cheapest. I guess you get what you pay for.

Christian is Manager at the Mesa location. He is amazing. He makes everyone feel at home. He is very kind and professional. Great staff. The facility is always clean. Great experience. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this gym prior to the new owners/management. I enjoyed that the prior management provided a water cooler, now you have to purchase water which is outrageous because water is a basic human necessity that is provided at any establishment and you have to use Venmo to do so. You also now have to pay $10 per guest each visit through Venmo and it's just very inconvenient and seems like all the new managers/owners care about is making money. Before the new owners/managers, I could bring a guest and it was a part of my contract. Other locations I have visited in this state and other states have never not provided water and have never made me pay to bring a guest as it's been included in my contract. These may seem like small changes, but they have made me decide not to come here anymore.

Since the change in ownership/management, they stopped having bottles with disinfectant and instead now have 2 receptacles with wipes. Since they are unstaffed for the entire weekend, at least one is empty and the other one has wipes that are dried out. I won't go to a dirty gym with bad sanitary practices. I cancelled my membership as soon as I found out the change was permanent.

I really like this more intimate, smaller gym location. We were allowed to have a free week trial to see if it was a good fit, which I really appreciated. This never would have happened at another big box chain gym. It hasn’t been busy since I’ve joined, so I never have to wait for machines. That’s a major plus. Much superior to the normal large chain gyms we all know about. Also, affordable membership for 2 people!

Best gym staff I've ever experienced, very transparent about memberships and policies, very friendly and respectful. Doesn't get too crowded, a good array of machines that are usually open, people are respectful and keep to themselves.

Came as a guest for a week while in town with family. This is a great gym. Quiet, well lit, plenty of equipment, and no one filming themselves working out. I got what I needed without any productions. Staff was friendly, visible, but not in your way. I would join if at lived in this neighborhood.

Pretty good! I’d say just add more massage beds and tanning but overall pretty fair. Staff is friendly and helpful. The inherited Gold’s Gym equipment isn’t as inviting as newer of course but it does the job. I liked seeing the staff cleaning the mirrors and staying productive. Busy place! Can’t wait for the other location to open up closer to home!

This location has the best staff. Their friendly,helpful and the place is filled with metal plates. No rubber plates here. Shout out to Gabriella Assistant GM for showing me the supplements. The sour gummy worm pre taste awesome and has a nice kick to it 💯💪 and a good price 🙏

Edit: After almost 3 years here, I'm lowering my review from 5 to 3 stars. Overall: This is a decent place to work out. Not without its flaws, but the overall value makes it worthwhile to me- but the flaws are frustrating enough for me to explore other options, too. Pros: Great overall feel to the gym- good community. Great variety of equipment, typically with good availability. Cons: Seems like the equipment is a bit old, having been passed down through the various gym ownership, and this has resulted in many of the same machines and equipment breaking down- and when it breaks down, it's down for weeks at a time, which can be a bit frustrating. As for the overall policies? Personally, I try to talk up a place that I enjoy and attend frequently, and this is no different. Between friends and family, I've referred 6 individuals here, who have purchased their own memberships- and instead of rewarding me with a free membership of my own, as they advertise, they give me a t-shirt. When I mention this, they offer me another t-shirt. Finally, they change the policy, and it doesn't matter that I've brought in this many people, because now it needs to be in the same calendar month. Well, perhaps I'll get better rewards if I take my people and try somewhere new!

Great gym. The machines and benches are laid out across the floor in a very logical way. There’s no shortage of equipment, so you never have to wait for a bench, leg press, or smith. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The gym itself is very nice. It's clean, the equipment is like new and it's never too crowded like most gyms. My only issue was with Scarlet. She's rude and condescending and not a very bright business woman, to be in her position. I went to check it out with a friend. She talked to both of us and gave us a tour. After we sat at the front tables and Scarlett proceeded to offer a discount code to my friend, for signing up. After a few weeks of being a "guest" I went to Scarlett said I'd like to join and she said great and explained how to sign up online. I asked about the discount code my friend got and she said it's only for certain people. Sounding discriminatory, I said what certain people? She said just certain people. No clear explanation. I said, you are refusing to give me the code, which in turn will stop me from purchasing a membership for $24.99 a month? This means I will just come every single time with my friend as her guest. So you'd rather lose a paying member all for a discount on the sign-up fee? She said she didn't understand. I said give me the discount and I'll sign up, which I will pay $24.99 a month around $300 a year. Don't give me the discount and you'll get zero dollars from me, losing revenue. She said what? Another employee had to explain it to her, as well as my friend, then she got irritated and gave me the code. This isn't manager mentality, someone with any business experience and lacks customer service. A company is only as good as it's employees.

The staff here are so nice aswell as the gym its clean and simple best planet fitness i ever been to.

So, this PF has been my all-time favorite gym. They have great, updated equipment and it's kept clean. They have many Equipment Spray & Paper towel stands everywhere which is super important to me since I always thoroughly pre-wipe down any equipment I use. The women's locker room is very large and offers privacy by separating the locker spaces, showers changing booths and toilet/sink areas. The stand-up tanning booths and rooms are always clean and maintained, the water massage tables and chairs are also kept well. ** So, even though the rooftop AC system is down until the end of July when parts come in, the management has gone out of their way to make sure the club stays cool! It was a work in progress to get that all worked out with the portable units, but I just walked in and it's COOL UP IN HERE! ** I was also getting frustrated about the AC issue, even to the point where I checked out a couple other gyms (EOS/Esports/La fitness), but none of those offered me the level of equipment, staff friendliness and comfort level at the way THIS gym is setup. I WILL STAY HERE, THANK YOU! The management here is responsive to customers and they really are trying hard to make sure the members are taken care of. Thank you to all my PF staff and manager, I see you! 👍💪🥰

Absolutely love this gym! The equipment is top-notch and always in perfect condition—everything you need for a great workout. The atmosphere is super motivating, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to!

The gym's cleanliness is notably lacking, with visible dirt and disarray affecting the overall environment. The weight selection is inconsistent, with an overabundance of 45-lb plates but limited availability of other sizes, alongside a noticeable shortage in general. Additionally, the weights are a mismatched assortment of different types and brands that do not match, contributing further to the disorganization. While they do have a decent range of quality machines, the limited equipment coupled with a high density of patrons—many of whom are visibly focused on intensive bodybuilding—creates a highly congested and uncomfortable experience. Investing in both enhanced cleaning standards and a broader, more balanced inventory of matching weights would significantly improve the gym's functionality and appeal.

I truly enjoyed my first visit here, they have a variety of equipment, spacious lay out, and a great atmosphere. There are several rooms tailored for different training purposes. Top notch gym with an old school vibe, super welcoming and the staff are very kind.

I’ve had the most fantastic experience training with Gene! He is always prompt and communicates clearly, making each 30-minute session both efficient and incredibly intense. I always leave feeling like I’ve climbed Mount Everest and I am left crawling out of the gym. His attention to detail is impressive, ensuring that I’m using proper form and staying on track with my goals. What sets him apart is his compassion—he genuinely cares about his clients and tailors each workout to fit individual needs. Thanks to Gene, I’m able to get more time back with my family while still reaching my fitness goals as a body builder! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this amazing human since 2021 and I refuse to train with anyone else! NO one comes close to measuring up!

This review will remain 1 star until the concerns are addressed. Over half The lights in the women’s locker room turn off at 1 am, just so happened to be WHILE I was showering. So now I’m in a dark shower, alone, woman in her 20’s, in a mostly empty gym, with mostly men in it. This did not bring about a feeling of safety or security. Not only were the lights in the showers off, but the lights over the toilets and the lights in the changing stall all off. Maybe 6/20 locker room lights remained on. This is unacceptable, and employees were not able to turn them back on for me. I have NEVER. In the over 50 planet fitnesses I have visited across the states, and the multiple dozens of times I’ve showered late night into the early morning, I have NEVER had the light turned off on me. THIS IS NOT OKAY! You say open 24 hours the lights need to be on 24 hours!!! Also, the hot water stopped working. Luke warm is GREAT in a dark shower exhausted at 1 am!!!!! Unbelievable

I wish they stuck to their own rules. There's constantly teen-agers in sandals, jeans, pajama pants; leaving their bags in the middle of the floor. Someone brought their Doberman in today, and it definitely was not a service dog. Plus so many people not wiping machines. Also, if you come after 7 pm, be prepared to hunt down paper towels and cleaning spray after each machine. Half will be empty while the employees hang out with their friends at the front desk.

~~2 Month Update: Not only are the stair steppers still broken, but even more have since fallen into disrepair (with no signs of repair work happening.) If you’re considering a gym, I’d recommend checking out Red Mountain Fitness or LA Fitness instead—at least there’s some accountability on maintenance. Makes you wonder where the membership fees are actually going here. Original review: Always packed with a limited number of stair steppers, which are often in disrepair. Paper towel dispensers are frequently broken too.

Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed by Brett, whose outstanding customer service truly stood out. Brett was knowledgeable and shared his own fitness journey, which was incredibly motivating. His personal touch made the process feel more connected and encouraging, assuring me that I could achieve my own goals. The sign-up process was seamless, thanks to Brett’s guidance and enthusiasm. I left feeling inspired and excited to start my journey at EOS. If you're considering joining, I highly recommend it—especially for the amazing team members like Brett!

Joining this gym felt more like haggling at a used car lot than a gym tour. The higher up sales team was armed with post-it diagrams and up-sell scripts, clearly chasing commissions. I just wanted the website discount so I could lift, not negotiate like I’m buying a timeshare. That said, the gym is clean, well-equipped, and pretty nice once you survive the sales pitch. Just try not to overpay on your way in!

We just switched from Lifetime to EoS. With the money we saved we can now afford eggs! I was expecting the normal hard sell, but we had a great time talking about equipment with Brett Mutchler. Love the equipment in the movie theater! We registered, then realized we could join our daughter’s family plan. No complaints on canceling our plan and transferring to our daughter’s plan. He even apologized for a few mix-ups on the transfer. Love a salesman who can say oops and then fix it! That’s rare!

I attended Pumped Up Pilates (jump board) with Vanessa, and while she’s a knowledgeable and engaging instructor, the class leaned more toward weightlifting than cardio, which wasn’t quite what I expected. It felt more like a HIIT class, with the reformer being used more like a cable machine—a shift from the traditional Pilates focus on lengthening and strengthening that I personally prefer. I also noticed one participant wearing outside shoes on the equipment, which felt a bit unsanitary, especially since we often touch those surfaces with our hands and other parts of our bodies. I was surprised this wasn’t addressed, as grippy socks are typically standard in Pilates studios. If you’re looking for a more traditional jump board class, you might want to explore other options. That said, this class could work well for those who enjoy a hybrid Pilates/fitness style. I liked the studio overall, and since they’re on ClassPass, I plan to try other classes there—but for jump board, I think I’ll look elsewhere. TL;DR: It really comes down to personal preference!

I had a really disappointing experience at this Pilates class. I have taken a lot of Pilates classes, and none of them have been this bad. The instructor was not only rude but also seemed uninterested in creating a welcoming environment. I told her it was my first class, and responded with “okay and? go sit your stuff down.” Didn’t give me any instruction on what to do. Instead of offering guidance or support, she was dismissive and condescending. The class felt uncomfortable from the start, and I ended up leaving early because of how unprofessional the atmosphere was. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive fitness experience.

It’s disgraceful that a supposedly reputable studio employs someone who so brazenly belittles the very women she’s supposed to support. The hostile, dismissive attitude toward potential clients and community members with differing opinions is shockingly unprofessional. If this is truly representative of the studio’s values, it’s a blatant indicator of just how little they actually care about their clients—or women, for that matter.

I personally don’t appreciate instructors blasting their political opinion about “how humiliating it is for women to think they lost their rights” on their TikTok platform while employed as an instructor at this studio. It’s one thing to have your political beliefs, but don’t shame women who think differently than you and expect them to trust you during a workout.

The women at this studio, both staff and clients, are so friendly and welcoming. Always a great workout too.

I love this small and intimate space and the services they provide. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I have had fabulous facials and treatments by Patricia, she is so kind and knowledgeable. She doesn’t push things on you, which I appreciate. My skin and I are so happy after her treatments! Melinda is an amazing masseuse. She always listens to my needs. It’s not the run of the mill massage, she customs my massage and my time to my needs. She is very skilled and it’s apparent she is passionate about what she does. I’m so grateful for both of these fantastic professionals . .

Just finished another incredible massage by Melinda. As per the other reviews, Melinda is keen to ensure each treatment is custom to your body needs that day. After back surgery and years of sciatica nerve pain finding the right therapist is a game changer. For me that therapist is Melinda….truly an exceptional therapist. Medium sized and well apportioned space with more than enough equipment for satisfying cardio and/or strength workouts. Beautiful views include a resident road-runner. Friendly staff who are always willing to change music or any one of the 5 tvs. Fees seem comparable to the local big box gyms, but less crowded.

I love this gym and I would have given 5 starts BUTTTT I think what would make it 5 stars is if there was a Cold Plunge and Sauna. Mainly Cold Plunge though. I would pay a premium $60 a month if they had that!! Other than that I love this gym

This place has been giving me the run around whenever I try to cancel my membership. I called over a month ago to cancel my membership, but they told me that I had to do that in person. I finally showed up when someone was actually working and was told that they no longer cancel memberships in person. He gave me a card with a cancellation email and a phone number. I have emailed and called and still have not received a response. I haven't even worked out here in a year or so. They didn't even give me a tour or anything when I signed up. I never felt motivated or welcomed there.

I really enjoy visiting this gym. Going on two weeks now. I typically visit in the evenings after work and there are never that many people there so it allows for multiple machines to be available most of my visit. They offer a small amount of classes in the afternoons such as Zumba and Yoga, I have yet to join them so no review on that yet. Otherwise, every area is typically clean and organized.

The manager there is so amazing and a great person. Fernando really helped me out in a big way. This gym feels like family. I love training here.

Need a no nonsense gym, this is it. Has equipment you won’t find at others, place is clean and the staff is great. Does get busy and would love more hip thrust machines and bands but overall super happy with this gym.

I have been coming to this mountainside for a while and it has one of the cleanest locker rooms and floors I have ever been to. All front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. Child care workers do their best to make sure you have your time to workout and not have to worry about your children! Overall just a good gym!

I’ve been a member of Mountainside for a few months now, and I’m honestly so impressed by how welcoming and friendly everyone is here! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. The staff are incredibly kind and approachable, always greeting you with a smile and making sure you feel comfortable, whether it’s your first time or you've been coming for years. The gym itself is also clean, which is a huge plus. The floors, the equipment, and the locker rooms are well-kept. You can really tell the management takes pride in maintaining a clean environment. If you're looking for a gym that's both welcoming and clean, I highly recommend Mountainside. It’s the perfect place to stay motivated and get in a great workout, all while feeling like you're part of a friendly community.

I'm not one to write reviews but I must give credit where credit is due. I have been a member for a few months now and you can now consider me a member for life! The gym is spacious so even during typical gym busy times you have options to still get a pump on. The team at this location is hands down the best!! The opening crew is always has a smile on their face ... even at 4:30am. I get ready for work at the gym so it is so convenient to have towel service included in the membership; not to mention the cleanliness of the gym and lockers rooms is top notch. Tell the manager to keep up the good work!!!

Based on the reviews I was super excited to trial out this MS. I’ve been in search of a gym that not only offers great amenities but also great customer service. I went on Sunday 2/2 around 1pm. As my first day on the free pass trial, I was unaware I needed a lock for lockers as other gyms I’ve used had automatic locks. I asked if they had a temporary lock for me to use as a new guest and they said no. I even asked if I could pay to use an executive locker as a one time being a potential new member. She also said they couldn’t allow that. There was also no manager on site. She told me to come back tomorrow as if not considering I made time out of my extremely busy week to use my trial. Overall the amenities were great to use, but the overall customer service and amount of ‘no’s’ I heard as a first time guest to help me was disheartening.

Our family loves this gym. The cleanliness is far and above other gyms I’ve been a member of. I thought the gym was brand new new!!! The staff is amazing. Everyday we are greeted with multiple smiles and welcomes. I recommend this club to anyone. BMH Club member

During the holiday break, I decided to drop into Crossfit Incite for a week and a half while I was in town visiting family. From the moment I walked in, the coaches and members were welcoming and made me feel right at home. The supportive atmosphere was encouraging and motivating. The gym was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with top-notch facility. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this CrossFit Incite to anyone looking to stay fit and have fun. I met a lot of great people during my time there and will definitely be back when visiting next!

I absolutely love this CrossFit gym! The trainers are top-notch, knowledgeable, and supportive. The community here is fantastic, creating a motivating and uplifting atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to challenge themselves and be a part of a great fitness family!

This gym is AMAZING! The workouts are no joke & the trainers are so welcoming & always watching to make sure I am doing it right so I don’t hurt myself & get the best results. That being said they will push me to give it my all & know when I am not & push me more. They have a refrigerator with different flavors of protein & energy drinks and stuff like that which is convenient & being about to charge it to the bill when I forget my wallet makes it easy. They do meditation/yoga on Sundays & I would pay just to take that class. I have never been able to meditate before taking this class, it’s so beneficial to have an instructor who will guide you & teach you different breathing techniques, which also helps with working out. I could go on and on about the instructor and that class but I suggest you check it out for yourself, at least once. This gym offers a week free trial so you have nothing to lose & no excuse not to check it out. They are really big on helping the military & there’s a real family/community vibe there that I haven’t gotten from a different gym. All the people are genuinely supportive of each other and really cool to work out with. It’s very clean and sanitary in there as well. The room for the kids is pretty big and they have couches for them to sit on & the woman who watches the kids is so nice. They have a shower as well. I can not say enough good things about this gym.

Came for a jump rope seminar, ended up staying for the OG fitness. Friendly and helpful owner, coaches. Would like to return for a full class.

I recently moved to the area in July of 2019 and knew that finding a good gym with a solid community was really important to my husband and I. Incite was the first gym that we tried out and we immediately felt welcomed, included, and comfortable. The owners and coaches are absolutely incredible and the members are welcoming and motivating. The programming is top notch and intentional. Since joining in July, my husband and I have collectively lost over 80 pounds, are in (by far) the best shape of our lives and have made so many friends, which can be tough when moving to a new area. If you are looking for a great workout and a strong community - this is it!
