Best Gyms with Free Weights near Hackettstown, New-jersey

This is one of the cleanest and most up-to-date Planet Fitness gyms I’ve ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. They’re always on top of maintaining the facility, consistently cleaning and organizing the space, seemingly every 30 minutes. They also make sure the weights are in their proper places, which I really appreciate. Every time I visit, Krystal with a K at the front desk is especially helpful and always greets me with a joyful attitude. I have zero complaints and am happy to continue being a member here!

Seven months ago I had a seizure while driving. Unfortunately I was badly injured and my license was suspended. During my recovery I needed to use a wheelchair. I spent a lot of time at Planet Fitness and the staff was nothing short of amazing. Not only did they motivate and encourage my progress, but they were kind enough to always hold the door and assist me when needed. Now I’m finally back on the treadmill and doing much better and I couldn’t be more grateful for my friends at Planet Fitness in Hackettstown.

I've been coming to this Planet Fitness for a little over a year now. I went from a black membership to a very membership to just being a plain guests at times. Justin has always taken care of me and went above and beyond to make sure everything I need was handled. I would dare to say Justin is the only reason I keep coming back to this planet fitness. No matter what kind of problem I had or who's problem it was, my issues were always resolved. Even when canceling my membership, he made me feel at home and it feels like I can always come back. I really do appreciate his exceptional customer service skills. God bless

Planet fitness gym is really good, help me transform my body to look better than before, there are also lot of helpful and nice people. Staffs are awesome to, I had Kamron show me around, he was helpful showing me around and showed me how to use the machines. I really recommend this gym.

I’ve had a great experience at planet fitness. Krystal goes out of her way to greet the guests, and is informative. Her kindness is a great look for the business.

I mean the LA fitness in Randolph has nicer locker rooms and bathrooms, but it is a drive for me so I got the free trial for crunch despite the reviews. Granted I don’t go into the women’s bathroom so maybe it is a problem🤷🏻‍♂️ but the gym itself served its purpose.

I love this gym. The staff members are great! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They even know me by name. I am greeted on arrival and acknowledged as I leave. I see Matt and the staff on the floor checking on things. The facility is impeccably clean, much improved over previous owner. I love the recent repositioning of machines. They are perfect for the flow of my workout.

Hear me out. I know gyms aren’t the best smelling places, and I expect that. But the girls locker room is next level. I know other people have noticed it, it’s not BO it smells like sewage. Like the toilets are quite literally back flowing into the drains or something. When it’s brought to the attention of the manager she just brushes it off going no people just smell, as if we don’t know the difference between arm pit and actual crap. Do better 👏🏼

I found out that Medicare offers the Silver Sneakers program. Two locations were offered nearby. I went to Crunch first. Matt at the front desk was positive, enthusiastic, and extremely welcoming. On the basis of Matt alone I chose to sign up for Crunch. I have since gotten to know most of the staff who handles the front desk. They are all top notch.

I love Crunch Fitness in Hackettstown, NJ. I’m always greeted by the friendly staff with a big hello & a smile. There’s so much great equipment to use also. Recently, Danielle, coordinated a pickleball afternoon on a Sunday. I had so much fun & a great workout. The snacks after hit the spot. Dena is awesome & very knowledgeable about fitness & health. She always gives me a wave & a smile when she sees me. Can’t wait to get back to Crunch tomorrow! 👍

Great equipment, staff and customers. Impeccably clean. Classes are great. Staff, instructors and other guests are all very friendly.4-8-24.. the gym is still wonderful. Always clean, always friendly staff & instructors. I enjoy every minute i'm there. 9/20/24- they are always trying out new classes and always keep the place clean. I couldn't ask for more.

Love this place! What a great investment. Classes are perfectly paced with more and more being added to the schedule. It's a very clean environment with friendly people. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice place to work out.

This kids gym is phenomenal. The owner is very friendly, and the place is VERY clean despite the number of children present. It is also very reasonably priced and I appreciate that you do not have to be a member of riverside fitness center in order for your child(ren) to participate in the activities here.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. I’ll be updating my post. I was skeptical signing up because I didn’t think there would be enough equipment. I’ve been spoiled by great big box gyms for years but Riverside has everything you need. Every major machine, squat racks, smith machines, you name it for specific muscle groups, cardio and a yoga room. They’re great for their kids room as well and John at the front desk in the mornings is super friendly. Great value!

Of all the gyms in the local area, Riverside H&F Center is by far-and-away my favorite gym. From its wide array of upper-tier fitness equipment to its professional & helpful staff, I can't honestly think of a negative trait to complain about. Plus, I really like the social dynamic of the gym's patrons. A healthy mix of friendly folks involved in casual/family fitness, athletics & bodybuilding. I highly recommend this gym for all people for all levels of fitness. Oh yeah, the place is super-hygienic and has a well-organized footprint. All in all, an A+!

Great gym right in the middle of Hackettstown. The 24 hour access is great, the gym is well equipped but old school simple styling so it feels more comfortable and relaxed than the big corporate gyms. Myke is a great trainer and owner, very attentive to all his customers and he just added another trainer to the staff to give the members more options. Definitely worth checking out.

My trainer Mychal pushes me to the fullest of my potential. He takes the time to really get to know me and how much I need to be push. Thank you Mychal for always making it fun to go to the gym.

Awesome and knowledgeable trainers (I’ve had multiple now). I’ve gained muscle and lost a ton of belly fat by using the diet that Mychal custom made for me. Really great gym with a lot of machines and free weights!

I’ve been training here for years. The owner, Mike is the best, but all the trainers are amazing. My whole family loves working out here. I’ve lost weight and built strength consistently and Mike has helped my younger daughter with building stamina that’s helped her in sports. They are all very knowledgeable and listen to help you achieve your goals. Equipment is good, space is good, location is convenient, and I’m able to work out whenever I have time which is a huge bonus. I recommend anyone looking for a new gym to check them out.

A terrific, clean and well equipped Gym... I've been training here for a few years and love this place. A great friendly vibe with absolutely no attitude. The 24-7 access is wonderful so I can go whenever I like to fit my crazy schedule. And the owner, Myke, is extremely accommodating and really cares about the needs of his customers.. Every trainer I've worked with at Real-Time has been a consummate professional. I've been a gym user for over 30 years and this place has my highest recommendation...
