Best Gyms with Free Weights near Darien, Connecticut

My favorite Equinox in the tri-state area! It has the best equipment, space, layout by far. And God bless them for having such a spacious locker room. Such a pleasure compared to the Greenwich branch

I’ve been working with trainer Charles Lomanto and in a short time have made progress towards my goals. He is professional, knows what he is doing, and has thoughtfully and consistently challenged me beyond expectation. The staff are welcoming. The steam and locker room are great. The space can feel tight to navigate at times but the equipment and overall vibe make up for it. I highly recommend personal training with Charles and Equinox in Darien.

I was a member here for a year and I loved the facility, the staff and the trainers. I was never warned when I signed up that biological men would be allowed in the women’s locker rooms. Sharing a locker room with a biological male who is allowed to sit on his phone for the entire duration it takes me to undress, shower, blow dry my hair and leave for work was sickening. For three weeks I watched this person with phone in hand and eyes on women in the locker room. I have never felt so uncomfortable or violated in my life. Really hope that person wasn’t taking photos when they saw me undressing the last three weeks. If you’re a female and you’re okay with sharing locker rooms with biological men then you won’t have any issues here. Everyone is awesome and the facility is amazing!

Great equipment. Really nice gym

If you’re a female stay very far away from this place!! They allow men into the women’s locker room to do as they please, to watch women change and shower. Management won’t do a single thing about these disgusting occurrences. Give up your memberships if you have one here and find a gym that respects the safety of women.
