Never in my life did I enjoy exercise for the sake of exercise. I think what I needed was a great community of people and coaches that support each other and keep it fun and challenging. I love the variability of movements and the wide range of skill and endurance work every day. I love the friendships I've made here and the strength, confidence and overall mental and physical health I've gained in the 7 months I've been a member. I joined the gym to keep up with my kids and stay healthy in my 30's, but I've gotten so much more out of it than that! Thank you so much for all the positivity, encouragement, and knowledge! If I could give 10 starts I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Never did I ever think I would LOVE CrossFit this much. But it's really life-changing! CrossFit Chicago Heights is one of the best places to be. And here's why-- --You don't have to be amazing athlete when you first walk in the door. You're taught how to work from where you are and encouraged to build to a better you. --The coaches are really wonderful and helpful. Every class I learn one new thing. Even though classes can be larger, coaches check in with everyone individually. --The community is supportive and welcoming. At first I was so afraid to be in gym class again. But I don't feel that way at all anymore-- I'm working out with people who are now my friends AND my best cheerleaders.

All of the coaches come to class with a positive attitude, and are more than happy to help you scale any movement to meet your needs. The classes aren't typically full, but when they are, the coaches are still walking around ensuring that we are comfortable with the movement. And last but not least, this gym has always felt like family, everyone is encouraging and we build each other up constantly!

I’ve been a part of this CrossFit community for a little over a year now. I can honestly say that I now enjoy working out and challenging myself in my workouts. I love how everyone encourages each other and we cheer for each other during the workouts. Coach Zak makes sure you know how to be successful in your health journey; he makes sure you know how to make healthy food choices, helps you set goals in the gym, and checks in with you periodically to make sure you are meeting your goals! All the coaches make sure to work with everyone since there are different skill levels in each class. The gym will also have different workshops throughout the year so we learn new skills and improve our healthy habits. I was a part of the healthy eating workshop and received personalized nutrition counseling from Coach Amie. I learned new ways to make better choices and how easy it was to put together a healthy meal. I encourage everyone to give this gym a chance, I’m glad I did!!

I dropped in for a week while visiting family for the holiday, and everyone here made me feel very welcome. All the coaches made a point to learn my name, and multiple members went out of their way to introduce themselves to me and help me find or put away equipment during the workouts. This gym has a great atmosphere, and I plan to drop in again next time I am in town!
