I can't say enough great things about my experience with Marco! From our very first session, it was clear that I was in the hands of a true professional. He took the time to understand my fitness goals, current abilities, and any limitations I had, crafting a personalized training program that was both challenging and achievable. What I appreciate most is Marco's ability to keep every session fresh and engaging. Whether we were focusing on strength training, cardio, or flexibility, he always brought new exercises to the table, making the workouts enjoyable and never repetitive. His knowledge of nutrition and wellness tips also complemented my training, helping me to make better choices outside the gym. Not only is Marco an expert in his field, but he also creates a supportive and motivating atmosphere. He celebrates every little achievement, which kept me motivated to push through even on tough days. I genuinely looked forward to our sessions, and I can honestly say that I’ve seen significant improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall fitness since we started working together. If you’re looking for a personal trainer who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about your progress, I highly recommend Marco. I’m so grateful for his guidance and support on my fitness journey.

I’ve had the pleasure of training with Joan Sanchez, and he truly stands out as an exceptional gym coach. His workouts are nothing short of phenomenal. Joan’s ability to tailor each session to individual needs while maintaining a high level of challenge is remarkable. He combines expertise with a motivational style that keeps me engaged and pushing my limits. Every workout with Joan is well-structured and dynamic, ensuring consistent progress and preventing monotony. His dedication to fitness and his clients’ success is evident in every session. If you’re looking for effective and invigorating workouts, Joan Sanchez is the coach you want. Highly recommended!

gym is nice and has everything you need. the reviews are hyping up the trainers but i’m surprised considering i’ve witnessed some of them act very unprofessional. vaping while training a client is crazy. not teaching others to put their weights back is crazier. nobody puts things back where they belong here!! this gym lacks gym etiquette.

A lot of the equipment needs maintenance. Great to use a Groupon for the month if you're visiting, but I wouldn't join long term. Has some decent equipment for strength training and cardio, but rather limited overall especially for strength training. Men using the gym were very touchy and imposing with women training without asking permission.

Joan Carlos Sanchez, the best coach of all time. Thanks to him, in a short time I have managed to achieve incredible results in changes to my body. His way of training leads us all to transform our bodies and minds, making us more confident and proud of our results. The best without a doubt, 100% recommended!!!👌🤩

Great facility especially the gym! I would however be very particular of what trainer you pay for, as some are more professional and not rude like others. I highly recommend James as a trainer due to his professional level and patience. The trainer Martin, not so much because I don’t think trainers should be raising their voice at you or give unnecessary attitude because you are of course paying them, for a service! I didn’t pay to be disrespected by a man!

No pool, sauna, or steam room. There are a lot of treadmills and bikes. Double row and lat cable pull down, so that was nice. Didn't have to wait. Good variety of weights. Even duplicates of most used weights.

The South Dade YMCA has been such a blast for our family! The classes are super fun, and there’s something for everyone, no matter what you’re into. The place is always clean and ready to go, which makes working out way more enjoyable. Our kids are all about the sports clubs—they get to run around, have a great time, and burn off all that energy. And there’s complimentary child care—seriously, it’s a lifesaver! You can drop off your toddlers for up to two hours while you hit the gym or join a class, and they’re in good hands the whole time. All in all, The South Dade YMCA has it all. It’s the perfect spot for the whole family to stay active, have fun, and just feel good!

YMCA is very good, if you have more than one kid i recommend getting the membership, it helps A LOT. The trainers here are also very nice and help with anything. This place also has a gym which is great if you are looking to workout.

This particular facility is so disorganized when it comes to the dumbbells. The staff should do a better job on organizing the dumbbells from small to big this way. My workouts won’t take twice as long since I have to look for and scavenge throughout the facility. The up keeping/maintenance of the equipment is low. The backboard of one of the benchpress it’s not level due to damages. Cushions on some of the machines are also teared and broken. Not sure why I’m paying the annual fee if nothing is being done. I hope they can do better. It’s sad with such much potential on that location.

Here's a review you can use for AMPED Fitness: --- I’ve been a member at AMPED Fitness for a while now, and overall, the gym has what I need in terms of equipment. The machines I use are available most of the time, and if they’re not, I can easily find alternatives to accomplish my workout goals for the day. No complaints there. Cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms and showers is an issue. I usually go between 6-8 AM, and the bathrooms are consistently dirty. Both the toilet and shower stalls. The showers are often unkept, with hair on the walls and floors clogging the drains. On top of that, there always seem to be fruit flies in the shower stalls, which is pretty off-putting. I hope AMPED Fitness can address these issues to make the experience better for all members.

DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I started at amped about a year ago and I got a trainer. The guy told me whenever I wanted to cancel to just let him know and that it would be no problem. The original trainer I had left and then I got another guy and then he left also. I expressed that I wanted to cancel and they said it was fine. Months later I get a call from collections saying I owe $600 dollars. I went into the gym and spoke with a manager and did a buyout of $180. They told me I would never be charged again and that the training was cancelled. I was hoping that would be the end of it. A couple days ago I get a charge of $90 so I come into the gym today and speak to a manager and he told me I still owed two payments. This place is a SCAM. I paid what was due and canceled my membership. The manager pretty much didn’t care about anything I had to say and still insisted I had to pay. If I did a buy out how is it that I still have to pay for a training membership I do not have????? There are way better gym who won’t treat you like this and run your card without consent.

They only have 3 working stair masters out of 5. They don’t have enough plates for their machines in the lifting area. The ac ventilation is trash so you will feel like you are suffocating during rush hour. This location is pretty trash. The only plus is the 24 hour access (when their mobile access works) Update: this place is pretty ghetto. People that don’t even have memberships use this place at night when the staff is gone. Someone literally brought their entire family in here to goof around while people are working out. If you are paying for your membership you are getting ripped off. Yikes and they harass black members that aren’t white I guess for not re racking weights in the time they like. Pretty nasty establishment.

I’m give a review specifically for the front desk employee Leah Fernandez, I created my account originally with another employee but it turns out it was completely created. Leah helped me finish setting up my account and answering all my questions. I appreciate this staff member a lot for giving me another perspective on this gym. The gym has great equipment and is clean I enjoy it, but I wanted to leave this review because she help me a lot when it Comes to my plan and the amenities for the gym.

If I could give a 0 star to this gym I would a million times. STAY AWAY. DO NOT BECOME A MEMBER. Once you become a member you will NOT be able to cancel your membership. It is so bad, they will not give you a copy of the contract you signed with them. Corporate will tell you they cannot cancel your account either. You will have to dispute it with your bank THEN be sent to dent collectors THEN sent to corporate and THEN back to the gym manager to "cancel" your account. Over a year of a process to cancel this gym. STAY VERY FAR AWAY.

I’m giving this gym a 5 ⭐️ because of a few staffs but more importantly to MELISSA that work at the front desk! Thank you for taking the time in getting our 3 individual membership into a family plan today and for assisting with the transition since it’s four of us! Melissa also assisted me in sorting out other issues that we had in the past and she was very patient, calm, well spoken and very professional. I hope management will recognize her dedication and commitment in always assisting the customers and going out and beyond. Thank you

Recently moved from dade to cutler bay, been going to youfit for 5+ years all around Florida never had a problem with any and will continue going but this one in specific is booty because of the people who work there. I go in 3 out of 5 days a week and don’t bother anyone, I’m polite and don’t look for problems. I went in the bathroom and didn’t know the cleaning lady was in there so I continued and used it. When I get out she pops out of no where and starts screaming and making a big deal at me in Spanish. I tell her that I was sorry and continued my day. 2-3 weeks later, I gradually noticed that the moment I walk in all the employees look at me as if they knew me or something and making comments. One morning I ask the same lady if I can go in the men’s bathroom before entering to not cause a scene, and does the most to not let me use the bathroom. The thing is that it’s only with me. I ain’t coming to this gym no more. Probably another location..

First time going to one of these locations and it was a good experience. The gym is very tiny and lacking some important equipment but they keep it clean, friendly staff and the equipment they do have is very good quality.

I started to come here because It was a few min from my house but when I inquired about a personal trainer . a young boy I believe his name is Eros was someone I got recommended by another staff that can help I spoke with him and did a first session before committing to him. But my experience with him was never the less horrible. He was rude on how he explained the work out , super distracted n he seemed annoyed when I asked question . To be in this industry it’s not easy and you need to like people but he clearly doesn’t . Will be going to another youfit .
