Best Gyms with Child Care/child Watch near Lansdale, Pennsylvania

I have been going here for al title over a year. I am 13 and mostly use the Y for the gym. Very high quality equipment and great environment. Never extremely crowded and everybody is very nice.

I have had nothing but a great experience at this location. Every amenity I can think of is readily available to me. I am not sure what is going on with the negative reviews with people saying the front desk staff is rude? Everyone has been super nice to me every single time I go in there. If you find service staff consistently rude everywhere you go maybe it is time to take a look in the mirror and do a little self reflection. Dealing with people every day for a living can be taxing and difficult, cut them some slack. I use the gym, pool and steam room 2-3 times a week and have not had a single issue and I am coming up on a year membership.

Thinking of a pool party, Lansdale Y is your go to place!! Recently we had our daughter’s birthday party. She asked for a pool party and Lansdale Y was great in accommodating our big party. Mr. Ian Dillard our party associate from Lansdale Y is awesome. He helped us in every step to make this party a wonderful memory for our family. All kids not only loved to have a splash in the pool but also had a blast with Mr. Ian Dillard when he volunteered as a dance DJ. All parents loved our party and praised Ian’s energy levels are remarkable. Everybody had so much fun. Thank you Ian and Lansdale Y.

Cancel the membership is not a smooth process here. After you gave 30 days notice, they still charge you one more bill cycle after 30days. If you are cancelling here, at least be 2 month ahead of time to give notice. Always do in the end of bill cycle, not in the beginning.

I enjoyed all the fitness equipments, classes, pools, space and friendly staff here. I wish to go more to get my workout done. It never disappointed me. See today I burned over 400 cal. by doing one single stepping machine for over an hour. Thanks y!

Stopped in today for a test run and wasn’t impressed. The place is disgustingly dirty. There are dust balls all over the floor and on the bottoms of the equipment everywhere throughout the gym. Had most of the stuff I use, but also didn’t have common equipment in every gym. Ie hip abduction and adduction machines. Most of the equipment was old and dated, but I guess it would do for a dirt ball. Won’t be joining

I had a frustrating experience with Krux Fitness when I tried to cancel my membership. I provided a two-month notice, well ahead of my contract's end date, expecting a smooth process. Instead, I was charged for three additional months after my supposed cancellation. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I was informed that their policy requires payment for two months after cancellation, despite my prior notice. This felt unfair and misleading. The management was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. Overall, their policies are not customer-friendly, and it seems like they prioritize profit over client satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this gym if you value transparency and good customer service.

I used to love this gym but then they never fix anything and it's dilapidated and got a rude man at the front desk . The equipment is old and then they got new stuff but didn't get rid of old stuff so there is no space . Owners don't care . SAD!

I rarely say this but this gym is great for everyone from beginners to experts. They have equipment for both and it’s spaced out well. Everyone is nice and polite. The gym owner makes sure everyone feels safe and doesn’t put up with creeps or jerks. Oh also there’s pick up basketball in their basketball court which is fun and everyone gets playing time.

Two words for what makes this gym awesome: Kenny Durham. Kenny is the gym's resident trainer and fitness/bodybuilding expert, and he is the real deal--meaning he delivers results. Kenny has a deep understanding of physiology, nutrition, and all the "tricks" that make workouts more effective. He completely transformed not only my workout routine but my entire approach to how I eat and exercise. I've lost 10 pounds in the process and am on my way to making even more gains. He's passionate about his work and isn't afraid to hold you accountable to your goals. Here's the other mind-blow: For all his expertise, he isn't one to self-promote or brag. He's participated in and won bodybuilding shows (as recently as last year) and has trained actors and fitness models who need to be in shape for their livelihood. He's the complete definition of a hidden gem who deserves not to be hidden. If you are looking for results-oriented training from someone who knows EXACTLY how to get you there, Kenny is THE MAN, as long as you put in the work. Pure excellence.
