Good location with parking. Nice staff and new equipment make the spacious gym an enjoyable place to workout.

The place is nice and the people are nice. But they seem to have a problem keeping the same workers. It seems like every few weeks there brand new people working there. So we tried to cancel our account with a guy whom was fired and doesn’t even work there anymore. Whether he canceled the accounts or not like he said he did, we don’t know. We do know we have not stopped being charged and now they are requesting late charges. We had to get the bank involved.

The gym is ok, gets extremely over packed. Staff is great, management has to go. The older gentleman takes his job waaayyy to dam serious, they are now taking peoples ID. If you don’t give it to them they will not let your guests in. To be honest I’m gonna switch gyms because I feel like that should have been in the information b4 people sign up. They do over charge and they are constantly changing there procedures and you will see a lot of new employee faces, all there employees are looking for something else and they can’t hold trainers for the life of them. They have to get new management because that first interaction can affect your experience at the gym. Recommend looking elsewhere where guys

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the services at this location. About a month ago, I visited to cancel my membership, which I had not used. I was assured that my account was canceled; however, I am now being charged for both the monthly and annual memberships, as my account is still active. Despite numerous attempts to reach a manager while out of town, I have faced excessive hold times of nearly 20 minutes and have not received promised callbacks. This situation is unacceptable. I demand that someone in authority contact me as soon as possible to resolve this issue. My contact information should be available at the branch due to my repeated calls. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

My girlfriend was changing in the red light room when she noticed a camera being angled towards her. This camera was able to see her as she changed. When front desk attendant Bill was notified he quickly went on the defensive, prohibiting my girlfriend from getting a photo of the cameras angle and was able to change the cameras angle. I'd be very cautious about using this gym. Thanks for preying on women Bill! This was 2/1 at 7am. If you used the red light room and change near this time, I have bad news. Do something management.

The best gym in Round Lake, clean and comfortable facilities, the staff is very friendly.

Simple gym. I always like the elliptical there. Wish there was more of that machine. I would just say it to bring back the towels. And bring back the merchandise such as the shirts and water bottles. Than that, I had a nice time

I especially loved the location, fair membership fee, and Zumba class...just wish the back room had better a/c as it gets warm in there fast when 20 people are getting a good workout in a smaller room. Overall, it's a good value!

This place is a scam. I use a fitness membership program offered through my insurance (Active and Fit Direct) which provides me access to gyms in the area. I started going to this gym when it first opened, but the gym started going downhill quickly. Equipment was old and not being maintained. Treadmills were broken for months at a time. There was a broken mirror that they decided to never fix and just put a poster on top of. The lat pulldown equipment even rocked back and forth because it wasn’t stabilized correctly. Because the gym sucked, I stopped going. I would then receive monthly calls from the staff that said if I didn’t swipe my card at least once a month they would cancel my account. Given the abysmal state of the gym and the availability of superior gyms in the area, I didn’t care if they canceled and stopped going since around Aug 2023. Out of nowhere in March 2024, I receive a $35 credit card charge for some improvement fee. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to refund me, stating it was part of my contract and that my account was still active because I never submitted a formal email to cancel my account. On top of this, I’m fairly certain I never provided this club with credit card information. I received multiple communications in 2021, 2022, and 2023 asking for a donation for their club enhancement fee since they didn’t have a credit card on file and couldn’t charge me like their normal members. I’m not sure if they somehow got my information from my fitness program or another snap location that I used to pay for. Regardless, it’s incredibly sketchy. Overall, avoid this place like the plague. The staff/owner is incredibly rude and unprofessional. The state of the gym was atrocious. There are much better options in the Round Lake Beach area.

Best and cleanest gym I've ever been to. Has all the equipment you need. The price is justified by being a barrier of entry for unsavory people. This place usually has no more than 5 people at any given time outside of the typical peak hours. The premium price point acts like your own personal gym. Be respectful and you will be respected. Have met very nice people here as well. Can't believe it took me this long to join. If you want to come to the gym to just take pictures and video please stay at the other gyms. People that come here are here to put the work in to see results.
