Best Gyms with Cardio Machines near Norman, Oklahoma

My husband and I absolutely love our crunch fitness family! We have Erica as our personal trainer and she is perfect for us! We train together so she always makes sure to have workouts that challenge both of us! If you’re thinking of joining a gym…. Do it!! We have loved every step of this journey so far😊

I have been going to Crunch Norman since it opened. I love all the equipment and there are several classes to be pushed. I especially like how I am welcomed when I come in. There are a few people that greet you but my favorite is Mary Beth. She is always sweet or funny. Makes you feel like family when you’re there! Highly recommend Crunch Fitness Norman

We love crunch fitness! The atmosphere is great, great environment, no judgment. Our personal trainer, Erica is great to work with. She takes the time to explain and work with you on a plan for workouts and nutritional expectations. The hydro massage chairs are a must! Would totally recommend this gym!

Going to this gym is like having a spa day every time I go. It’s big and spacious, lots of equipment variety, the sauna and hydro massage chairs are a great way to relax after a great work out, the child care is friendly and the facility is always clean! My favorite part however, is Marybeth at the front desk who made me and my daughters feel so comfortable and welcomed! I highly recommend this gym💯

I have been attending this gym for roughly 6 months now, and I enjoy it. I come very early to avoid the rush of people, and shower and go to work and I am here almost everyday as of late. The last roughly 2 weeks, the men’s bathrooms have gone extremely downhill. I see people come in and “clean” but at most it’s sweeping and calling it a day. The second shower has been clogged for 2 weeks, not allowing water to drain, and every single shower is ICE cold, and filled with pubic hair. This is very inconvenient to me as someone that goes very early and showers there to start my day. It’s even made me debate on switching gyms, but after seeing the reviews of cancelation policy it makes me worried about how that would go. Cannot go lower than 3 as I haven’t had major issues, but cannot go higher as clogged, cold and dirty showers is unacceptable for how much money this gym makes.

Since there’s no way to leave a poor review for Lighthouse Fitness Management, I suppose I’ll target 10 Gym, accessory to these guys’ scams. Maybe it’ll give them cause to dump the franchise. Either way, Lighthouse Fitness is easily one of the shadiest outfits I’ve come across. All sales, no delivery, and the only way to cancel is to do so through your bank. If these guys call or text don’t even pick up the phone.

The gym is clean and the local staff are awesome, however someone in so called “management”decided to get rid of the basic package of $10 which the company was founded upon and instead increase prices for the other packages while at the same time taking away benefits in the basic package. Many more gym at this price point to enjoy without the bad management!

10Gym is currently the worst gym in the Norman/OKC area by an incredible margin. While the staff are nice at location, the chain and corporate side of the gym are completely insufferable to deal with. They borderline refused to communicate the true cancellation procedure and ensure that the process is as difficult as possible. Add on the fact that they will find your bank account information without disclosing and this has led to a report to the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this gym, and the terrible corporate structure at all costs!

The people working here absolutely MAKE this gym. Dillon and Chayenne are reason alone to look forward to my workouts, but it's also a generally lax atmosphere. Zero pressure for appearances, just good vibes all-around.

Be weary! Membership isn’t the flat $12 a month. Fine print says you are charged an annual $60+ fee. Then when you try to cancel a few months in, you’re charged a “buy out” fee. I just paid $42 to cancel my membership. And STILL had to pay next month’s payment. So $54 and I won’t even be going to the gym. Absolutely insane. Do not recommend.

As a new member the process has been phenomenal. The online set up, and process of it all has been amazing. The app itself is user friendly, I love that it shows an attendance tracker(which is a huge motivation!), the workout, times, coaches assigned to time and so much more. The facility is very nice, the setup is friendly, it is very clean and organized to a T! All the coaches have been very helpful, motivating and have kept me going, especially on the harder workout days! Stoic is a great place and I’m so happy I joined. 💪

I love Stoic Strength and Fitness! This is the perfect place to come to get strong, but physically and mentally. Austin, Christina, and all of the other coaches are incredibly nice and encouraging. The 60 minute workouts are planned perfectly and fly by, even though I feel as if I moving die at the end of cardio day. If you’re looking for a gym that will support you on your health journey, I cannot recommend stoic highly enough.

Stoic is a top notch gym! Personal training in a group class feel! The coaching is professional. The gym is kept clean and organized. I highly recommend if you are searching for a new gym or group class!

I've spent the past 8 years of my life working in boutique fitness gyms as a trainer and Stoic is one of the best gyms I have ever been apart of. The programming is the perfect balance of traditional strength training with a great mix of conditioning. I feel spent at the end of every workout, but I always feel like I'm ready to go by the time the next day comes. Austin & Christina have built something incredible here and it's easily the best gym in Norman! Stoic is everything you want/need in a gym and more! I have lived in 7 states and belonged to at least 10 different gyms, and this is the best fitness community I have ever been a part of. If your goal is to change your body composition, get stronger, and/or improve your general health this is the best place to do it. We lift heavy, we train with intention, and we track our progress! Every time I leave Stoic I feel stronger than when I walked in. The trainers will meet you at any starting point and support you as you work to meet your goals.
