Best Gyms with Cardio Machines near Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Very good gym to work out, fairly not too busy. The only thing I wish they open later hours in the weekends and Fridays.

Only complaint was no online option to cancel. You have to go in person or mail a hand written letter. I had moved and the nearest gym was 2hrs away. I didn't have a post office that close by either and no way to drive to one. Made canceling a nightmare. Otherwise I recommend this gym. Didn't feel judged, very convenient hours, staff is always nice and helpful, you get discounts and you can go to many locations, even use tanning rooms or massage chairs or hydra massage bed if your location has them. If I live closer to one again. I would go back. I just wish they would make a online cancel option. If you can sign up online you should be able to cancel online.

10/29/24 update: Their "crowd meter" is way off and inaccurate. All the other locations show significant amount of the bar filled at peak hours before and after work, but this location shows 1 or 2 bars 24/7. It's clearly not calibrated properly. It's probably missing areas by the weight machines and free weights and going off cardio. 9/21/24 update: After expressing my concern to the gym manager, nothing has changed. The music is still too loud in certain areas of the gym. If you sign up, do yourself a favor and buy active noise canceling headphones, otherwise you'll have to hear garbage background music while listening to your own music/podcasts. She continues to cater to the 5% of gym members who don't wear headphones. 2/6/24 update: Music is still way too loud. Loud in the sense that it's hard to listen to my own music and almost impossible to listen to podcasts without putting my headphones at uncomfortably loud levels to drown out the gym music. Management a long time ago told me they have it on for people that don't wear headphones which is next to no one! The music should be at a low volume or not on at all. 6/8/22 update: Music is even louder now (yesterday's visit)! Why the heck is it so loud??? 99% of members are listening to their own music on their headphones. This is super annoying. If they don't come prepared with their own music - that's their problem. Don't make the rest of us have to deal with it! Just adjust the gym music volume to low. 4/21/22 another issue: I wish they'd lower the volume of music playing. 90% of gym members have headphones on anyway. This seems to be a problem at every location. It should be at half the volume level it currently is. New Year’s Day 2022: Hours posted on door, website, and google search all show open at 7am. Got there at 8am, doors locked and no answer when calling. 8:30: still locked, no answer. Super annoying! Almost 9am now, still locked and no answer. About to give up and go home. Other than that it’s been a decent gym with newly renovated locker rooms and equipment usually in working order. 1/3/22 update: Spoke w/ the manager Danielle and she froze my January payment to make up for the inconvenience. Good for her for resolving the matter and providing good service. She's been very professional. Thankfully this location has good management unlike some other locations I used to visit.

Excellent location. Went in a was immediately greeted by the front desk staff. He was very helpful and got me setup with a day pass right away. The gym feels new, very clean with tons of cleaning stations throughout. Lots of equipment in very good condition and the lockers were also very clean and well maintained. Amazing experience!

I just signed in last week and thinking of changing the gym already. The place is good with plenty of space available. They have many varieties of equipment and all are maintained in good condition. But they don't have a barbell and free-weight plates for bench presses, squats, and deadlifts. When asked I was told to use the Smith Machine for these exercises. Really?!

Whenever I check in at the front desk, staff are always more than willing to assist me since I utilize black card membership perks all the time! If regular memberships were entitled to use one free massage and one free Hydro massage, I bet planet Fitness would get a lot more membership upgrades! I like the Hydro massage best. It’s really a great stress reliever yet it’s great to loosen your muscles before a sports activity for yourself as well! Overall, it just feels great! Also, the clubs are always very neatly kept and I always choose a time to arrive when it’s not crowded and then I can be in and out in no time!

This Planet Fitness is very clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great equipment w/lots of variety. Plenty of safe and easy parking. Grape flavored tootsie rolls are good too! This is one of the best gyms of which I have been a member.

I genuinely enjoy my Planet Fitness membership because of the welcoming and judgment-free atmosphere it offers. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, which makes working out a pleasant experience. I also appreciate the wide variety of equipment available, catering to different fitness levels and workout styles. The 24/7 accessibility is incredibly convenient for my busy schedule, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The membership perks, like access to the HydroMassage beds and tanning services, add extra value to the experience. Overall, Planet Fitness provides a supportive environment that encourages me to stay consistent with my fitness goals.

This gym is as advertised - a judgment-free place for people of all shapes & sizes to work out. I always feel comfortable exercising here and the crowds are always small enough that the equipment I want to use is accessible. I've only ever seen one item marked out of order, but there is enough redundancy that this didn't impact my workout plans. It's a nice low price for a great workout experience.

On Thursday early AM. I had decided to visit Planet Fitness as I have not been since December 2023! What a truly remarkable visit it was indeed from the very first moment of when I first entered the gym. Upon entering a young gentleman by the name of JONATHON (whom was working behind the counter) greeted me with the absolute most professional, pleasant and genuine smile of which I’ve ever received since going to Planet Fitness. Jonathon was very patient as well as professional. I must say that Jonathon is a breath of fresh air as most individuals today sadly enough make it seem as though you are bothering them when they are doing their job. However, I can most certainly assure you that Jonathon did not whatsoever give such an impression. If anything, this young man was happy to greet me when I walked in as he took his time answering any of question(s) of which I had at the time. Upon exiting Planet Fitness, Jonathon made it a point as to kindly thank me for coming into Planet Fitness & that he looked forward to my next visit as Planet Fitness as well as himself appreciates my business! I must say that I was absolutely blown away as I cannot recall the last time of which I walked into an establishment and had someone be so professional. Planet Fitness has struck gold with the young gentlemen, and should feel honored to have such a fine young man representing their Gym. For many clearly know that the person who is behind the counter and is the first of whom one sees upon entering the business clearly sets the precedence for the entire company! Jonathon without any doubt whatsoever CLEARLY & OBVIOUSLY sets the PERFECT precedence for Planet Fitness 👍👍👍 Good Job P. Stopped in today for a test run and wasn’t impressed. The place is disgustingly dirty. There are dust balls all over the floor and on the bottoms of the equipment everywhere throughout the gym. Had most of the stuff I use, but also didn’t have common equipment in every gym. Ie hip abduction and adduction machines. Most of the equipment was old and dated, but I guess it would do for a dirt ball. Won’t be joining

I had a frustrating experience with Krux Fitness when I tried to cancel my membership. I provided a two-month notice, well ahead of my contract's end date, expecting a smooth process. Instead, I was charged for three additional months after my supposed cancellation. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I was informed that their policy requires payment for two months after cancellation, despite my prior notice. This felt unfair and misleading. The management was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. Overall, their policies are not customer-friendly, and it seems like they prioritize profit over client satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this gym if you value transparency and good customer service.

I used to love this gym but then they never fix anything and it's dilapidated and got a rude man at the front desk . The equipment is old and then they got new stuff but didn't get rid of old stuff so there is no space . Owners don't care . SAD!

I rarely say this but this gym is great for everyone from beginners to experts. They have equipment for both and it’s spaced out well. Everyone is nice and polite. The gym owner makes sure everyone feels safe and doesn’t put up with creeps or jerks. Oh also there’s pick up basketball in their basketball court which is fun and everyone gets playing time.

Two words for what makes this gym awesome: Kenny Durham. Kenny is the gym's resident trainer and fitness/bodybuilding expert, and he is the real deal--meaning he delivers results. Kenny has a deep understanding of physiology, nutrition, and all the "tricks" that make workouts more effective. He completely transformed not only my workout routine but my entire approach to how I eat and exercise. I've lost 10 pounds in the process and am on my way to making even more gains. He's passionate about his work and isn't afraid to hold you accountable to your goals. Here's the other mind-blow: For all his expertise, he isn't one to self-promote or brag. He's participated in and won bodybuilding shows (as recently as last year) and has trained actors and fitness models who need to be in shape for their livelihood. He's the complete definition of a hidden gem who deserves not to be hidden. If you are looking for results-oriented training from someone who knows EXACTLY how to get you there, Kenny is THE MAN, as long as you put in the work. Pure excellence.

Chris makes this place truly fantastic! Anytime would be nothing without Chris as an organization is only as good as their people and you will never be able to replace Chris and should look at corporate level for field training of different franchise locations. Thank you Chris for stellar service with problem diagnosing and resolution once again!

I've been a member at this facility for over 2 years now and it is still my favorite gym. I've been to other Anytime Fitnesses across the country and the world but none can match this location. Additions of new equipments, accessories and maintenance is very consistent. Not to mention this gym is always squeaky clean. The space is just right and my workouts are always intimate. I also appreciate the fact that this gym is never crowded and congested! Shout out to Chris for keeping it real!

I joined in December 2015 just before Christmas because I just never seemed to make it to my previous gym and wanted a place closer to my office. It was time to get motivated and start a new schedule. The team at this Anytime Fitness is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. There is always someone around to help with using the equipment or answer general questions. They truly care about your goals and progress and offer lots of support. The atmosphere is welcoming and the gym is very clean. It is a pleasure going to the gym now!

Really love this gym. I've been to other 24 hour gyms and they really aren't anything special or welcoming. This location has really cool trainers who don't hesitate to help if you have a question about form, style of training or to just tell let you know you're doing a movement well or how to improve something. The staff and trainers are really engaged, the gym is always clean. I've been there when it's really busy and have never had an issue getting a bench or using weights. Overall it's the best gym I've used.
