Best Gyms with Cardio Machines near Hanover, Pennsylvania

This is a great place to go if you're looking to maintain or lose weight and also build muscle. I've been to other planet fitnesses before and yes this one is a bit smaller, but still has all of the equipment needed. If you are someone who does not like to wait for machines, consider going early in the morning or later at night, when crowds are low. I'm thankful there is one in Hanover and even though it's small, it is still very nice and clean. I love their prices and having a buddy to come with helps to keep me coming and motivated. I highly recommend a Black card, it allows you to bring one guest and gives you access to some other great benefits like going to any planet fitness rather than having to stay at one so if you don't like the location, you still have options to find bigger locations.

Amanda is great! She goes above, and beyond to provide a positive, welcoming atmosphere. As well as to help her patrons with anything they need.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There have been times where I have seen customers not wipe down equipment and staff jumped into action which is appreciated.

Good branch, nice folks. Clean, friendly staff. Tanning beds could use a small trash can for cleaning it off. Otherwise good branch to work out

With the exception of a very few, the staff are not very friendly and must hate their jobs. They don’t like questions. I remember when they greeted everyone with a quick hello and a few words as you leave.

This the best gym to go to..most pleasant staff I’ve encountered at a gym! And not overly crowded. Very spacious. I really enjoy the weights and the variety of equipment. My most favorite equipment is the cables and the bench press. My girlfriend typically comes to the gym and she even has her own little space to workout in for women only!

I have had a membership for this location since around 2019. I started living in York for college, and no gym, not even the school’s gym compares to how nice this gym is. The ceiling is high and the entire gym is open which gives Platinum a very comfortable vibe, not to mention the airflow from the fans always keep it cool. The selection of machines & free weights are plenty enough for everyone to use at the same time, however I am a morning exerciser rather than later in the day. All I use are the free weights, and cardio machines, but they have more to offer than just that. There’s trainers, exercise classes you can sign up for, and they play good music lol. Since my time being here, they’ve improved their equipment with machines and more plates. Love this place. thanks Jess for helping me with my membership!

I LOVE this gym! It’s hard to pick what my favorite piece of equipment is, because I love it all! But if had to choose, I would say that the women’s workout area is my favorite area, mostly because it allows me to focus on my workout without the hustle and bustle during peak hours. I can also dim the lights for those times I want to stretch. My favorite piece(s) of equipment are the leg press and cable crossover machine. If those were the only two pieces platinum offered, I would be completely happy. 😊 Having a 24 hour gym close to home is an added bonus. Ally whips up the best protein shakes in town! My daughter, Jordan, is jumping in on my review to give another 5 stars! I like the leg press, I really feel like I can really get a good workout when I use it. I always feel like I can get the job done on leg day with the leg press!

Platinum in Hanover is a great place to gym. The Ladies only area is wonderful, and I always feel comfortable and relaxed there. The staff is so welcoming and nice! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to start using the gym, or experienced people alike!

I absolutely love this facility Been coming here for 3 years and every time the facility has been clean and amazing. They’re always updating the equipment and keeping it all in good shape. big shout out to Ally who is by far the best worker at the gym she is always so friendly and kind to everyone Couldn’t have better staff.
