Best Gyms with Cardio Machines near Cranford, New-jersey

Love this place ! I gave it a 4 but they derserve a FIVE , they are open at 5 am the only downside they need modern hip thrust machines, more than one , I sure lots of the females can attested to that, I see other gyms with multiple machines . But this place I won’t trade it for anything.

Great atmosphere!! Plenty of equipment and classes to choose from. There’s an MMA room when you walk in with plenty of bags to work on. There’s good mix of people who come to work out and they are very friendly. I work out with Moses who specializes in sports training, power lifting, etc (Baseball, Football, MMA)using old school Westside Barbell methods. No day is an easy day, but you leave better than when you came in. Moses works with youth athletes, BJJ athletes, armed forces, police officers, and many others. It’s nothing to play with, so come in to work. SNF is definitely a great place to train.

This is the best gym I’ve been to. From the employees to the other patrons. The amenities are plentiful, the rules are followed and the place is clean. The weights are never out of place because the people respect the gym and their experience. There’s no random fees every couple months so there’s no surprise charges. Even the teenagers there don’t crowd machines or spend their time making videos flexing in the mirrors (they have a room for that). They also have EVERYTHING you need and some things that you didn’t know you did. Two tufts, saunas, tanning beds, and batting cages. This is the best place to lift.

I´ve been a member of Strength & Fitness Club for some time now. All I can say is becoming a member here is one of the best decisions I made. The facility is top notch with great equipment and they are always making new additions. I love the fact that the owner is always around and is one of the best people I have met. The trainers are phenomenal as well. Training with Coach Moses has changed my life. If you are in the search of a great gym, you will not regret this place.

I’ve been to quite a few gyms over the years, but none have felt as much like home as Resurgence Barbell and Fitness. From the first day I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine interest by the coaches, owners, and staff—they’re truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They took the time to understand my fitness goals and made me feel like part of the community right away. The gym itself is fantastic. The powerlifting and weightlifting equipment are top-notch, and it’s clear that they prioritize staying up-to-date with the best practices while also valuing tried-and-true methods. I’ve even been able to bring my own barbell, which is a huge plus for me. One of the most unique and wonderful aspects of Resurgence is how dog-friendly it is. Being able to bring my dog along when I work out has been such a joy. It’s not every day you find a gym that welcomes your furry friend with open arms! The extended hours make it easy for me to fit workouts into my busy schedule, and knowing my dog is welcome makes it even better. But beyond the equipment and the dog-friendly policies, it’s the culture of growth and authenticity that keeps me coming back. Everyone here is committed to improving themselves and supporting each other. It’s an inclusive environment where collaboration thrives, and that’s something I deeply value. If you’re looking for a place where you can be yourself, pursue your fitness goals with excellent resources, and be part of a genuinely supportive community, I can’t recommend Resurgence Barbell and Fitness enough. I’ve been to many gyms in the Union county area which quickly left me hating on your typical commercial gym because they’re always so crowded with gym goers that have no etiquette and unkept. Resurgence is clean and everyone here is SUPER strong which motivates you to push harder. They have everything you need for an amazing workout PLUS all the weight for your PRs. I enjoy coming here and they have been very accommodating for a parent trying to fit fitness in their life.

Been going to this gym for about 2 months and the energy and community is beautiful. Extended hours access is perfect for me because I have an irregular schedule. The aesthetic and minimalist feel of the gym is great and when you’re not lifting you can chill and do work in the lobby. This place is the best !!!

Resurgence Barbell Fitness is a fantastic place for anyone looking to strength train. The facility is clean and well-equipped, with high-quality barbells, plates, and racks. The staff is knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to help you. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, and there's definitely something for everyone. Highly recommended for beginners and experienced lifters alike!

I grew up at CPFC so seeing the upgrades was a shock. But whoever built the gym- big kudos to you! They have excellent equipment, and I think I died and went to heaven when I saw the Rogue IWF bars. They even have machines that count for you. I’ve never seen the facility so clean and the front office staff was so nice. They really did a great job with the upgrades.

Outdoor pool has something for everyone! There's a kids pool, a separate pool for older kids, a section for adults and a diving/slide area! And if you need a snack after spending time in the sun/pool they have a snack shack!! That's not all...there is two lanes I'm the outdoor pool for swimming laps and an indoor pool dedicated for swimming laps...so come for some sun and get your laps in...

Excellent pool, chlorine levels are not too high so my son does not get asthma when he practices for a 2 hour session.

Pool is very nice looking and has food options, incase packing a cooler isn't your thing. You cannot get into this pool unless you have a membership. It was so nice looking, u was willing to sign up for a membership, until I saw the prices. 400-550 depending on if you're a Cranford residen. The higher price is if you're a non resident. I live 5 mins away in the Borough of Roselle, so if I signed up for me and my kids, it would cost over 500.

The staff has been very helpful and kind when signing up to be a member. It's very clean and is brand new! Enjoying it so far!
