I am thrilled with this gym. It's a beautiful space...everything is new and clean. There are showers and hair dryers and a cafe. You can even rent a locker for $10/mo. And I can't say enough good things about childcare at Kidspace, which is included with membership. Miss Renee and Miss Lori are rock stars! My 1 year old loves going there, which gives me 2 hours to work out. Thank you YMCA!

I have been training at the Sunbury branch for a few weeks but made the mistake of going to Lewisburg’s. Upon entry the front desk individual asked if I was switching locations to which I responded I thought it was included in the GSV Membership…it is. They pulled up my account, asked if I had my Weis badge with me & again, I ask if it was already on the file? (They could clearly see it was cause they asked me about it without mention). The individual asked me to go get it, fine. I come back from my car and they are on the phone & as I hand them my badge they say l “he handed me a badge or, at least an old one” into the phone. Then even said “is that good enough proof”!?!? Can’t help but laugh walking into a ‘community center’ & being treated like I’ve done something wrong without any explanation. I asked for my badge back, left & will never come back.

Blows. Small gym. Nice building. Too much for membership. Customer service is not good. Unfortunately in this area there is nothing else besides planet fitness. This area is garbage

The gym itself and equipment is nice. However the hours of operation are shameful. For busy working adults it is neither open early enough or late enough. It absolutely makes my blood boil that at 5pm on a Saturday the Karen’s at the front desk are shooing people out while the gym is packed for an event. There are many creative solutions that are employed in different gyms across the US but this management team seems to be too narrow minded to use any of them. There are other YMCA’s in the area that offer 24 access for an extra charge. Why can’t this be done here? I’ve heard rumors that the summer hours are going to drop to 8pm. Just insane… Definitely not worth the $60+ per month for admission.

My husband and I joined last week so that I could take some fitness classes while on maternity leave and have someone to watch our infant while taking them. I took my first class this morning and dropped our 4-month old off right at 8:30 for a 9am class. When I went to get her at 9:50, she was still strapped in her car seat next to another infant strapped in their car seat. She smelled like poop and it was all over her clothes and car seat. The class was GREAT; however, I would be careful using them for childcare. The worker seemed overwhelmed, as there were quite a few kids there. When I called the youth director, she was very apologetic, but said that since they are not a licensed daycare, they allow up to 8 children per one worker. But, my experience with the actual class was great!
