Love this gym! I’ve been to several gyms in a few cities and this is by far the best for a variety of reasons: It’s staffed 24/7, It’s spacious with many equipments so never too busy, Staff is friendly and patient, The gym is clean because the cleaning people (who are a super sweet senior couple) come in every night, It has a really chill vibe. I’m leaving Philly and this gym will be the main thing I’ll miss!

I’ve been going here for a year and a half so it’s about time for me to write a review! Fit Gym is the best gym hands down. The top floor is like if a chain gym had better equipment, and the bottom floor is like a World Gym or Golds Gym with a wide range of quality weights and machines. The locker rooms are plenty big enough for the amount of traffic that go through them. The staff are chill and nobody has ever bothered me as a trans person - and if anyone ever did I know the staff would have my back. I haven’t taken any classes or met up with the trainers but I have seen them in action and they look like a blast. It’s a great value for the price point. My only wish was that they had a hip thruster machine bc it’s tough to set up hip thrusters with all the other equipment, but idk where they would even put it.

Great gym! Fair price for a local gym with well maintained equipment and classes. There's always someone behind the front desk and I feel quite safe walking to and from the gym. Plus, they have wavemasters and bags for MMA styled workouts. On top of that, every person I've met or talked to briefly in the gym is polite and kind. Highly recommend!

Rec center was closed because of Columbus Day, and in a panic looked for a gym in the area. Was pleasantly surprised to find that this gym had an old school asthetic with tons of equipment. Everyone there was super nice staff was super nice definitely going to be returning soon.

I worked out at Fit Gym for a month during my visit to Philly and it had most of what I needed. There are a variety of machines, racks, and weights to cover every body part. Some of the machines weren't in great shape, and the racks and barbells are low quality. Oftentimes, pieces of equipment used by other patrons were not returned to their proper location, making them difficult to find at times. The big pluses are that the staff is great, the gym is cheap, and they have a deadlift platform, which many gyms lack.

I’ll be competing here at DCF on April 20th and Dan kindly allowed me to use the gym to get used to the equipment. First impression was that the gym was very clean and organized. Great equipment and plenty of it! It’s a surprisingly big space and the pictures don’t do it justice. The art work on the walls really is a nice touch and fun to look at. Highly recommend to give this gym a shot if you’re in the area. Everyone I met was very friendly and inviting. Will definitely be switching here full time in the near future!

Been going to Dan Campos Fitness since 2018. It is “THE” best gym ever! I go to the 5:30 am classes mostly but if I can’t make it I go to the 6pm class, or sometimes I do both because I love it so much. Dan the owner is very creative with his workouts we do something different every time. He has the coolest equipment, you won’t find it at any other gyms. You don’t have to be a athlete or a pro to do his classes he makes it were he will Modify it for you. He makes the classes fun and exciting, I never leave there disappointed. #teamdcf🙌

The studio is super clean every time that I come in here and the girls are all the NICEST! I haven’t once walked in without being greeted with a smile and a conversation. Aside from the level of workout I get every time, always makes me feel so accomplished! The little gym in the back is the perfect addition to my already great sweat session! 10/10 recommend HOTWORX

This Anytime Fitness location is excellent! Plenty of equipment, there are trainers from 10 am - 4 pm daily, they offer several classes and personal training as well. The location is well maintained with very good equipment for strength building and cardio. They also have a selection of crossfit type equipment and an area specifically for these types of cross training workouts. I love this gym 🏋🏻♂️

This place is awesome. They have all the equipment you would ever need. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. The staff is epic, and the trainers are amazingly accommodating. They work around the people suggesting personalized alternative exercises if the group ones don't fit a body type/age. The management is also stunning. Someone left their inhaler at the gym, and the staff called everyone who was there for that period to track the person down. 20 years carrying an inhaler, and nobody has ever done that for me before. This place is super warm and exciting and a great place to get introduced to exercise and driven people.

- They didn’t have the one machine I wanted, the simplest one: a stationary bike. They only have the weird ones that you lean way back in or the ones with the giant handle bars that go back/forth. - The gym was clean, well lit, and the music wasn’t blaring like some others. - The bathroom was cleanest AF bathroom I’ve ever seen. - The shower head is apparently not allowed to be adjusted…? - The shower leaked water all over the floor and into the hallway. Sorry about that. Poor installation of the shower tiles. I’m just passing through town, so I won’t be returning.

Everything is great but one big thing they closed the lounge room you can't sit and relax before or after a workout you need to sit in the locker room it's really a bummer there's no where to chill anymore. 😞 But overall great service outstanding employees, clean great amenities nice gym

I love this branch of the Y. The pool is one of the best I’ve visited - really well maintained with friendly guards (and a sauna!!) The studios are clean and bright with enough space for everyone. Erika’s yoga classes and Alicia’s Zumba classes are my absolute favorites - all of the instructors I have met are extremely kind, patient, creative, and encouraging. The support and love from other members is really special and keeps me coming back (even at 7am before work!). Thanks for providing this service and space for us.

Unfortunately this place has declined a lot. There use to be nice staff there but now most of the staff is rude, mean, and unhelpful. The front desk is absolutely dreadful, children run freely, young people smoke in the front of the building and Kidzone is ran by a bunch of staff who are glued to their phones and don’t want to interact with the children. Don’t trust these people with your kids…they don’t even want to pick up a baby!

there's this big buff dude. when i do cardio he's there. when i go downstairs he's still there. he's always lurking. when i get anything from the vending machine he looks at me like he wants to spit at me. i think he lives here, be careful. he's also bald.

This gym has a pretty good set up. Classes are awesome and there is a lot of equipment to choose from. Only down side is the hours at certain times of the year because they run on a college timeline. It is also packed at certain times of the day. But early morning and mid lunch are great times to go!

Update: I have mentioned that currently IBC is the only gym at Temple that has both cardio and weight room, which I see as problematic for such a large university. Starting this semester, there were 4 instances during different times of day (morning, afternoon, evening), which I had to literally exit the building as it was, with no exaggeration, beyond crowded. Equipments (including limited benches, smith machine and DB) were too busy, especially in the weight room that they are very limited, so I didn't see any chance to use anything. Adding that to the danger of Covid spread in such a small room. The only good part about it is it's free for students and it's clean. I hope Temple would invest on building an additional gym...

Has everything I need, however certain equipment is broken for some time now, without any intentions of fixing it (just a yellow tape over them). Also the classes are held in the only excercise hall with mirrors (and quite often), leaving students little room to go elsewhere should they need mirrors, wooden floors, and a bit of space.

I LOVE the culture of respect at EEG! Donnie, the owner, made me feel so safe and welcomed during my consultation and was so accommodating (I had my 5 year old son with me) He quickly and efficiently explained the gym rules and gave me a tour after which I signed up immediately. The culture of respect and care for community is what made me fall in love. Unlike so many other gyms, there is never a shortage of equipment or disorganization. The gym (including bathrooms) is always SPOTLESS! I love my EEG community and so thankful to Donnie for creating such a welcoming and safe environment.

A Super convenient & clean gym ! As a female in the fitness community for the past 5 years coming from the popular fusion gyms. Earn everything gym has all the equipment needed to achieve your fitness goals, I feel safe and comfortable at the gym due to their safety policies which I love, I can go at anytime and safety is not a concern. I also appreciate that I don’t have to encounter people with pajamas, crocs or no shoes which something that we see at these other gyms. Donnie is friendly and understanding as well he will even accommodate us moms in cases when we don’t have a sitter, something not every gym offers therefore we also have to be considerate and follow rules. Overall I’m content and always looking forward to each of my workouts!

My daughter and I have been attending Earn Everything Gym since August. This Gym is spectacular clean and always well organized. You never have to search for attachments to use equipment. The women's bathroom meticulously clean. The members that I see there are respectful and speak nicely to me in positive greetings. Great atmosphere to workout in!

I met Donnie thru my son who also works out at EEG. He was very professional, showed me all the equipment, state of the art may I add, and VERY CLEAN!!! He explained all the rules which I could appreciate because as a woman, I want to feel safe at the gym, want to workout in a sanitized gym, and feel comfortable with a community that shares my same values. Safety, cleanliness, and respect are key factors to the owner and the reason I joined. The equipment is very well maintained and there’s a machine and weights for every body part you want to train, even a hip thrust machine that I’ve never seen in local gyms. There’s even plenty of space to do full body stretch before starting my workout that I can comfortably do without feeling weird out or stared at by other strangers due to a crowded gym; I like to go to the gym really early to get my day started after a fruitful workout. Membership is well worth it!!

It’s gotta be the best gym in Philly and I don’t think it’s really even close. The owner Donnie is the man. And when he says “members only”, it truly means members only. I’ve been a member for the past three weeks and I couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely clean and organized. If you’re a serious gym goer and want a safe, clean, organized place to workout without any of the extra crap that comes with a commercial gym, this is for you. Can’t beat it for $50 a month. Highly recommended!

Great gym to workout at! New equipment lots of platforms and squat racks so you’re hardly ever waiting. If you’re looking to train for a hyrox event, powerlifting, strongman, and bodybuilding they have almost everything needed to include any style of training. The staff is very friendly and the gym is kept very clean. The price is worth it for the location and 24/7 access and no contract is a huge perk. Highly recommend this gym!

Unbelievable value and management. I've been lifting for eleven years and powerlifting for four. This second location of Iron Works has almost a dozen squat racks, many deadlift platforms, true power bars and specialty bars, calibrated plates, strongman equipment, a plethora of machines (selectorized and plate loaded), and a ton of cardio options. The gym is open to members 24/7 and staff and management are fantastic. They are highly receptive to feedback and regularly improve the gym. The gym itself is clean, new, well-ventilated, and has high ceilings (contributing to an open feeling). Highly recommend you check it out.

Been coming here for a couple months now and I’ve really been enjoying it. It’s always pretty clean, staff and owners seem really nice, and they have a huge selection of different equipment. If something breaks they fix it relatively fast and seems like they upgrade stuff from time to time already. I’ve liked coming here and looking forward to what the gym becomes over there next couple months
