Finally feeling *good* in my body. This place is great. The classes are so much fun, everyone is really welcoming and supportive. People cheer for each other when someone lands something they've been working on, and encourage you when you need a boost. I love seeing so many different body types and gender expressions feeling comfortable and welcomed, enjoying sharing this experience together. The $7 for 7 days deal is cheaper than most other places in town charge for their intro deal for just a single class, and this way you can try as many different classes and instructors as your body lets you. I crammed in a good dozen classes in my week because I wanted to try some of everything, and then had to take some serious recovery days. And then pounced on a deal for a year membership. The intro week deal is affordable enough that it's easy to convince friends to come along and try a class. I brought in two different people to different classes that week, one of them had fun but decided this wasn't his thing, the other had even more fun and bought a membership too. The parking lot is a little tight to maneuver in, but even showing up last second for a full class I've never had trouble finding a spot. If you're new to pole and not sure if it's for you, I strongly recommend checking out the classes taught by Jeannie and/or Kiki. I've had classes with nearly all the instructors at Sankalpa by now, and the quality of the instructors range from "I'm glad I took that class" to "so amazing, when is the next class I can take with you?!" I'm not going to go into everyone because I'm already writing way too much, but Kiki and Jeannie really stand out for beginner instruction: - Kiki is So. Sexy. with every movement. The hair flips, the back arching, the leg twirls, everything. Kiki moves so sexy it's literally impossible, but then explains what to do in a way that your body can actually do it. Even when you have no idea what you're doing, you can't help but feel hot as f***. And everyone else in class is so busy feeling themselves they're not noticing you, so you can really play with letting loose and reveling in your own sexiness, you badass pole dancer you! - Jeannie makes it feel so so safe to be really bad at something. The first time, and the second time actually, that I tried wearing the ginormous platform heels, I waited for a Jeannie class to do it. Don't get me wrong, it would have been fine in any of the other classes to impersonate a newborn giraffe like this, but Jeannie makes it feel like you're wrapped up in a cozy little support bubble of fun where you can mess up as much as you need to and are still adding to the class just for trying. Perfect for self-conscious beginners. Jeannie also offers a really punishing pilates class if you want to take the more intense modifications, but still makes it feel like you're doing exactly what you're supposed to even when you pick the easiest modifications and take extra breaks. If you really crave intensity, Elizabeth's contortion class gives you that "I can tell this is good for me, but omg ow" feeling, and her banter is absolutely ridiculous in the best way, the silliness & fun making it easier to tough out the bananas flexibility exercises she's putting you through. (that's not a pun about splits, I swear!) If you're more experienced on pole, you'll have to try the upper level classes yourself. I'm still at the newer end of Pole 2 so my evaluation of the higher skill range wouldn't mean much, but I can say that the instructors are good at *teaching* and creating a stimulating & supportive class environment. If they have the pole skill you're looking for, you'll probably get a lot out of the classes here, and it's a beautiful studio to cap it off.

I’ve been attending pole classes at Sankalpa for the past several months, and my experience has been amazing. Where to begin- the space is stunning, spacious, and bright. The community is so welcoming and embracing. Most of all, the instructors are all absolutely wonderful! I have primarily taken classes with Kevin, Emma, Kiki, and Lisha. Each are unique in their approaches, while they all have helped me embrace my body, self expression, and increase my confidence and pole skills! Highly encourage you to check out the studio for yourself :)

Best vibes, best community, and best teachers. I’ve been training under Emma for awhile, so when she told me that she is teaching classes at the new Sankalpa location, I happily followed, and it’s the best decision I ever made. The studio is beautiful, perfect backdrop for all those videos I like taking during class. The monthly membership is such a good price, and with a full schedule, I can find a class (or 2) to take every single day. But my favorite part is the community. It feels like everyone in the building is my friend, even if I haven’t met them yet. And the environment gives me ample opportunity to actually meet everyone. It’s so nice having a community of people who enjoy the same passions as I do.

This place is more than a pole dance studio*** i think this is not clear to some people so i want to make it clear. You can find amazing yoga classes and a very welcoming community here too. This place was the first yoga/dance studio i found when i moved to Denver and even though i have explored, the environment and the people here is what makes it so special. I love the Shakti Flow & Dance class! The instructor, Kimmy, has a beautiful feminine energy and it’s a great practice to get more in tune with your feminine energy as well. Thank you Jessy for providing a space for expression and freedom. 🤍

I have had a wonderful experience with the staff every time I go to the gym! They have a great selection of products and merch (including the BEST protein powder). It’s always clean and the other gym goers are great too! The owners and staff play a large role in the gym and it’s great to feel the sense of family and community there! I always feel welcome and comfortable working out. I love this gym!

A great place to call home where the staff makes everyone feel welcome, and the members are always considerate to each other. A terrific gym with great members! Everyone is polite and knows proper gym etiquette, being mindful as to not hog a machine or area. In an area where there are a lot of competitor gyms that can get packed during prime gym hours, X Gym stands out as a huge relief.

I have been at this gym since 2014. I supported the gym through covid. My biggest complaint is the owners are not here. The place is falling apart. The Men's bathroom don't work most of the time. The equipment is broken. The main door is not locked at night. Nothing is updated or new. But I still get charged for new equipment. And the owners will not return calls.

Aspen was amazing and is always walking around making sure the gym is neat. The gym is never overly busy and it has such a positive atmosphere. Their workout equipment is also top tier. They’re the best!
