I'm so glad I became a member and also decided to invest in personal training. Tommy is an outstanding trainer and very down to earth, enthusiastic, and supportive. He genuinely cares about his clients and regularly checks in to see how you're doing. Darren also offers lots of helpful information about nutrition and I'd highly recommend taking a workshop with him. Joya at the front desk is fantastic—she has a very outgoing and welcoming personality! She's very encouraging and easy to talk to.

I’ve been training with Tommy for several months now and it’s been fantastic! He makes the workouts fun while still pushing me. I’ve gotten so much stronger and my stamina for running has gone up a ton. 10/10 would recommend!

Been going to the BAC since I was a little girl in the 90s when it was Beverly Racquetball Club and have loved this gym since day 1! All the amenities, 24hr express gym at the Cummings Center I love, InBody Scans to help monitor and tailor progress/routines, every kind of class you can think of, a women’s only gym I love to use when at the main club and hard-hitting, focused personal training that has taken my workouts and strength to a whole other level! I have been seeing Tommy weekly for personal training sessions for the last few months after completing an excellent and informative 6week nutritional program offered by the club. Tommy is amazing! Such great positive energy and helps keep me motivated throughout the week with check-ins and suggestions to keep on track. His confidence continuously gives me confidence! He will work with your schedule and your goals to tailor your routine exactly how you need. I am an EMT regularly needing to lift people / stretchers and Tommy’s efforts with me have made my experience in the field at work so much more efficient. I no longer fear I’m going to drop someone because my arms gave out. In just a few short months I have put on about 10lbs of muscle and am feeling better all around physically, mentally and spiritually thanks to the amazing workouts and personal training sessions provided. Thank you BAC and Tommy for supporting my health and helping make me an EMT the community can count on! Highly recommend the BAC and their personal training! Ask for Tommy!

Not worth the $40/month. Machines are all rusted (no exaggeration every single one is), I'm worried one of these days I'll contract tetanus from them that's how bad they are. Members never clean the equipment, don't put their weights away, lack basic courtesy for others and frequently block the entire free weights standing an inch in front of them, benches moved haphazardly wherever and never returned. People love to blast their music on their phone so the entire gym can hear and facetime people during their lifts. Others record themselves in the middle of the floor so be prepared to end up in their footage. It's pretty bad when you can hear others conversations on full blast speakerphone with your own headphones in cranked up. All of the equipment is old, frequently broken, and takes weeks to fix. Cable pulleys are worn out on just about every unit/machine, cable attachments are beyond needing to be replaced. Broken handles and broken collar clips that go on the bar to secure the weight are unsafe as they're so warped I'm shocked no one's been hurt yet from them. There is literal mold growing on the ceiling in one of the rooms where the bikes are. Private training sessions block off huge part of the gym you cannot access during this time. Members sneak in guests constantly. Not worth speaking to the management as I have multiple times and they could not care less and were so rude and dismissive. I canceled and pay a few dollars more for the YMCA. At least there it's clean, they are prompt to fix broken/missing equipment, actually address problems you bring to their attention and the members aren't self centered jerks and clean up after themselves.

Wasn’t shown around first time I was their getting my card no one offered it to me and place is lacking. A lot of core work out machine I’m still excited about this place but first impressions was not good. Really wanted to give it a 5 start also why isn’t one of these locations 24 hours that’s very inconvenient.

Tried to cancel our membership and was told we had a final set date to use the gym and that we would not be charged for another month. When we were charged for another month my wife went to speak with an employee and was assured we would be refunded, but needed to speak with someone else at the facility to finalize the refund. However, when she finally got in touch with the correct employee she was told that there would be no refund because of the contract, requiring 30 days notice of cancelation. We had been members for over 4 years. So, I guess we forgot about the policy. I think the fact that two employees misinformed us is unacceptable. Moreover, I think it is wrong to charge money for a service that was not used.
