This gym keeps every section clean. From the main gym floor to even the bathrooms. Depending on the level of membership, the amenities are worth it. Weights, cable machines, classes, swimming, sauna, steam room, the recovery room with message machines, and their smoothie and shakes area. And for those with kids, check out their kids center.

Have been to this gym as a buddy with my friend's Max membership and by using a 1 week free trial on the app. I like the gym, the equipment, amenities and decided to pull the trigger and get the Max membership with Kids Club access so I can bring my kids to the gym when I work out. I walked in and said I wanted to join. Then I was directed to fill out my information on the app already on my phone. I wanted to use a credit card as my form of payment and told that I could. However I was told by the supervisor that I would be charged a $30 fee if I used a credit card as my form of payment. When I questioned this and why the app seemed to not allow me to move forward without banking info, the supervisor said the app wouldn't let me sign up without banking information in order to save me this $30 fee, and that if I insisted on using a card, she would have to create a whole new account for on their side, and to just go ahead and fill out my banking information anyway. This struck me as odd and I prefer to use my credit card for monthly expenses like gym memberships rather than my full blown banking information. I don't understand the $30 setup fee for using a credit card. Is this fee listed in the promo ads for $1 enrollment? Is this just an arbitrary penalty for using a card instead of my banking information because it's easier to pull money from bank accounts rather than charge credit cards? I was told by both the employees I spoke to that it was an option to use a card for my monthly dues, but only if i was ok with the extra hassle and an arbitrary up front fee of $30. This seems unfair. I came in to purchase the Max membership but walked out with nothing because no one was able to explain this to me. If it's supposedly an option to use a card, why are employees trained to simply insist/pressure you to give up your banking information? Frankly, I've been a member of a lot of gyms and this was weird to me, so I walked out.

I Like this gym and their amenities, but can the bathroom stalls be attended more frequently?. I have been coming here for about five months now and the toilets are consistently discussing. And I know it’s not because there isn’t someone to do it because I guarantee there is 2-4 workers hanging out in the front to greet people every day.

Alright...so this place has been open for almost 1 day. Go ahead and ignore 98% of the previous reviews as they have nothing to do with the actual facility... and are all about the LONG delay we all had (I signed up in May of 2022). The facility itself is beautiful. Obviously, it is very clean as it is new. The staff have also been friendly whenever I've asked questions. There are all types of workout equipment and areas. Barbell weights feel solid, and dumbbells go up to 100 lbs. There's a yoga room, meditation room, cinema room (yes, watch a movie while doing cardio), outside workout area, group exercise area. Bathrooms are very nice and showers are big! There are plenty of drinks choices, and it's not overly cold (like Planet Fitness that has all their giant fans turned on to keep their gyms at 50° or below 🙄). I'm definitely looking forward to using this gym and checking out the other ones around California in time.

Here to give 5/5 stars to combat everyone who decided to rate this place 1/5 before it even opened. How do you feel now? This place, especially for the price, is absolutely phenomenal. The facility is massive and whenever you think you’ve seen everything, there’s more. The cinema is no joke, the stereo system is on par with an actual theater experience. There’s SO MUCH equipment—gone are the days where I have to wait an hour to use one of the three benches that are functional (I’m looking at you PF). I can’t say too much about the pool yet since it won’t be open for another month but it looks super promising. Seeing as it was their first week opening, I didn’t expect too much from the smoothies, so I’ll give them a pass on that but excited to try other drinks on the menu. The staff almost remind me of the kind of employees you’d find working at an Apple store. Shout out to Matt for giving me an awesome tour and getting me hyped up to come in for my first workout session there. So excited to see this place grow and thrive.

This is an awesome gym. All the equipment stays clean and the people are very helpful. The owner is a good man. Immediately after I paid for my membership, I had a major injury and have been unable to get to the gym. The owner paused all of my payments and allowed me to start over when I get cleared by my doctor. No other gym would have done that!

Pretty cool gym but very, very small. No AC so it takes some time to get use to. Not beginner friendly but once you get use to the environment it gets easier to show up. Machines are dope but too close to each other. Staff is alright- had a very unpleasant experience with one of the chicks working there- rude for no reason- I cancelled membership because I was moving away, was a member for 6-12 months.

My absolutely favorite gym ever! I had such a great experience at iron arms I love how it’s a bodybuilding gym. They have awesome equipment for heavy lifting, the vibe is dope and Alex the owner is amazing!! He is always very friendly and professional if you have any questions or need any help with workouts , nutrition and etc. I highly recommend this gym to everyone.

I've been training with Alex for 3 months, I've lost more weight than I have in the last 10 years. He is motivating and does not let me slip, but also understands my health conditions and works with me to still get my routines done. The gym is smaller than the franchises around town, but that's what I like about it. It feels more personalized. I highly recommend 👌

Super dope gym! It has everything you need including an awesome trainer if you need one. The owner is down to earth and overall a great guy. I highly recommend this gym to anyone living in the Bakersfield area.

Nice gym! Hard to find one that has Dumbbells over 100lbs. Also has a posing room which is a plus if you compete.

Was in town for a month on business and I just needed to workout on my own schedule. I was turned away from other gyms because I wouldn’t give them my credit card when they said “oh, just sign up for a month and then you can cancel”. I guess they don’t read their companies reviews! Walked into Collective and was able to sign up with no hassle. No hidden fees. Great space-great staff-great equipment!!

Checked this place out after hearing so much about it. The gym is amazing, better than I expected. The layout makes it feel smaller than it is (several divided sections instead of one big section) but they pack a lot of equipment in (helps that the gym isn’t 50% treadmills). The equipment is well kept and there’s a HUGE variety. It wasn’t busy at all when I went (mid day Sunday). The only drawback for some would be the price ($60 a month), but the gym is obviously well taken care of and that price keeps the Broccoli-haired high schoolers away, and I’d say that’s well worth it!

Very nice gym, but I'm probably gonna have to cancel because it's too far and too expensive.

Wide variety of equipment, 24 hour access, helpful staff, and no waiting for equipment. Very impressed with this gym thus far.

As someone who's tried out at least 5 different gyms around town, this is by far my favorite. The community and vibe of the gym is second to none. Being open 24/7 means I can make my own schedule no matter what time I need to get a workout in. The owner is a certified fitness coach and nutritionist and is always available to answer questions and help with whatever you need. I always feel welcome and have never had a bad experience in the year I've been going here.

Nice small gym that provides 24/7 access by key fob. My only complaint would be they also have bootcamp classes (separate contract) that happen at peak hours…so if you’re trying to work out during the class time, good luck. They take virtually all equipment.

An amazing gym with amazing owners and trainers. I highly recommend both Mary and James as trainers too. Affordable without too many people at one time. Always clean, and everyone is so friendly.

James is an amazing personal trainer. He really works with your budget so you can meet your goals. He keeps me motivated and is always finding new ways to challenge me.

Great gym, really good atmosphere, great music, really good personal trainers, and open 24/7, I get really great advice from Mary.
