Best Gym near Yorba-linda, California

Gotta say I'm impressed, my constant gripe with every LA Fitness is the chaos of their dumbbells , but at this location every one is in the right place, I actually can rest between sets. Bravo staff and members for doing the right thing

By far LaFitness YL is one of the best locations. I been going to this location for over 10 years. I've tried others and non compare to how clean and organized this location is maintained. I highly recommend it. The staff is always friendly.

Don’t go here, cancelled my membership 5 months ago. Went to the location in person to cancel. Guy at front desk asked if I wanted to put on hold instead of cancel. Said no I want to cancel looking at my bank statement today, Iv been charged every month, guy at counter just didn’t cancel. Shame on me for not asking for some kind of proof. Don’t go here find another gym.

These rude people working at this company will not let you cancel your membership! Told me have to come in between 9 and 5 when a manager is there to discuss why I am canceling. Are you kiiding me! LMAO! Then Kristi, the manager hung up on me before I could repsond. I had no complaints about LA FITNESS Until this. I'm not.a child and don't need to talk about it. What a joke!

I just signed up with a new major insurance provider, get a gym membership paid for. I originally signed up with LA Fitness Yorba Linda. Looks like it is a fairly new gym and newer equipment. Guess they are trying to have patrons help pay for it all? I went in for my first and only free appointment and met with Courtney. I am only 67, she put me through floor stretches to see how limber I was. She never took me on a tour of the gym itself, lockers, machines. Nada! I did all the stretches she showed me. She took me to her desk and was talking about what she would like for me and proceeded to try to talk me into up selling me a personal trainer. Commitment of 6 months at between $340.00 up to $460.00 or more per month. I cannot afford to pay her commission and the personal trainers? I was not happy and left, complained to manager and cancelled with this gym. I just wanted to see the gym, the machines and get a basic exercise schedule. Not for them to upsell me a several hundred dollar trainer package? I called my insurance and they switched me over to 24 Hour Fitness which is closer to me.

My kids love this place! I was paying for separate dance and gymnastics for my eldest but she likes this better so now we just do this. Love that she has so many options for classes. Ninja, art, dance, free play... She'll never get bored. On top of this, the staff is amazing. The owners and instructors make it a point to learn everyone's name and make them feel special. The place is immaculately clean. You can tell they really care about their business.

Perfect spot for a birthday party. Friendly staff and spotless clean gym. During the birthday party, coach will lead activities for all the kids and take them through activities, story time, and kill their energy. The last 30-40 mins will be cake and snack time. Unless you have specific requirements for decoration, otherwise I think MyGym did a great job on decorating the space.

My Gym parties are the best parties! We have had 3 birthdays over the last two years and all have been fantastic! Mr. Jermey and Ms. Janine are wonderful and awesome leading the games and activities. The kids have a blast. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun safe place to have a party!

My Gym Yorba Linda is an amazing place to host a child's birthday party! I recently attended a party there for my daughter's school friend, and I was blown away by how much fun the kids had. The gym itself is large and spacious, with all sorts of fun equipment for kids to play on. There are trampolines, swings, slides, and even a rock-climbing wall. The staff at My Gym are experts at keeping kids engaged and entertained, and they did a great job at the party. They led the kids in all sorts of fun games and activities, and they made sure that everyone was having a good time. After the kids had played in the gym, we went to a separate room for the birthday cake and presents. The room was nicely decorated, and My Gym provided all of the paper goods, party favors, and food. The staff even helped us to set up and clean up, so we didn't have to lift a finger. Overall, I was very impressed with My Gym Yorba Linda. It's the perfect place to host a child's birthday party. The kids will have a blast playing in the gym, and the parents can relax and enjoy the party knowing that everything is taken care of.

I just had my daughter’s 3rd birthday here. They did a fantastic job accommodating our guest count, coming up with fun engaging activities for the kids, helping with candles/cake cutting, decorations for the theme we wanted, and just the overall organization of the party. We were extremely happy with the turnout and so glad we chose my gym to celebrate her birthday. Not only were they great during the party, but they were in constant touch with us via text message during the whole party planning process. They do a fantastic job in trying to incorporate the theme you want. The play area & party room are also well kept and clean! I would highly recommend this place for a birthday party to anyone!

Very friendly staff

This is my neighborhood gym and it’s been fantastic. The weight area is kept clean and machines well maintained. My very favorite aspect is the expertise of my trainer Jason! I have significant back problems and he has the knowledge to build me a program that works around my limitations. Training with him has built my strength and physique beyond my wildest dreams. I would definitely recommend him and the gym!

I love my Curl Fitness class in Yorba Linda CA. My Zumba Gold instructor is excellent!! Maribel ‘s dance moves and her music are amazing!! I’ll continue coming here for years to come. Our Manager Francisco is highly intelligent and gives great advice about gym exercises! They are so nice, very friendly

Ahmad and Francisco are great managers and very professional. Jason, one of the trainers and instructors really is the type of person to stop what he's doing and help someone and teach people new exercises. Happy to call this my local gym, I've been to 24 and la fitness and this is way cleaner than both. Respect

I joined this gym when they first opened and was very impressed with the options and friendly staff. They were a convenient stop before or after work and the showers were new and clean. As time wore on, things started to be less clean, although the staff remained friendly. I have moved away from the area and ended up cancelling my membership since it's no longer convenient to stop in. They let me know that I would have one more months payment charged before the cancellation would take effect, which I was fine with. What I was not fine with is the extra amount charged for the "annual" fee for a year that I will not be using the gym for, and after I had already cancelled a month ago. I talked with Phil and he was not helpful.

Amazing gym with a very attentive and helpful staff. They have all the equipment you need and the area is always clean. The membership prices are also super cheap!

Great instructors and they keep my kids happy week after week!!

Took both my daughters here for an "intro class" that you have to pay for. When they called on the phone they were very eager and warm, in person was a whole different story. Went in on a Saturday morning and there was no one at the front desk. Walked to the back of the gym where no one could tell me where to go or which classes my daughters were in. All of a sudden a few minutes past the start time, several teachers come rushing and just take the kids to start. No introductions, no conversation with the parents. Very cold demeanor. My 6 year old struggled to the point I almost went into the gymnastics area as the high school looking instructors were just chit chatting. All the experienced girls were getting frustrated with her as she was holding up the line, yet the teachers couldn't care less. My 3 year old seemed to have a little better of an experience, and the instructor seemed to engage well with the students. Do yourself a favor and take your kids somewhere they can actually learn.

Love our gym! Low on gimmick, high on quality of instruction. If you want warm and fuzzy receptionist,- go elsewhere. If you want your kids to actually learn skills and progress,- this is the place! The most pedigreed, experienced coaches for the team and pre-team. Some of these guys are former Olympians, while others had trained the US Team. For the last year our daughter has been attending this gym, and we are overjoyed with her success here.

Our two daughters are students at YLGA and love it. The kids call her Miss Z, but I wanted to let you know that I think she is a wonderful addition to your great staff of coaches. I am very pleased with the hands-on coaching and detailed instruction she is giving our girls. I already can notice a difference. Thank you for bringing her onto the YLGA team.

I love going here it is the best place. I’ve learned so much in four months I’ve never had experience here and now I’m in XL competition shout out to all the coaches that have helped here!
