Best Gym near Woodstock, Georgia

I’m currently here for the 1st time for a Birthday party. Everything has been great, but as I’m sitting here at a table where the indoor swimming pool area is, I can’t help but notice the oversized windows above where others work out. The equipment is facing the windows, lined right up to the front of them (the exercise bikes in particular) allowing those working out to watch everything going on in the pool area. That is a very poor design in my opinion and one that made my decision not to become a member. There are too many predators in this world that could take full advantage of this and stalk and/or prey upon children or young women.

Went in for a tour and Derek showed us around. He was absolutely fantastic! He was very informative about the location and amenities and did a great job of explaining everything and answering all of our questions. We signed up right away! The gym itself is very clean and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend!

Been going to this gym for years and it’s my home away from home. Love the front desk (especially Gabby) and personal trainers! Every single day I’m greeted with a big smile. This is also the cleanest LT I’ve ever visited in the Atlanta area. Love the energy and atmosphere 🫶🫶

LifeTime is truly more than just a gym—it's a wellness haven! From the variety of fitness classes to the luxurious amenities like saunas, hot tubs, and sports courts, there's something here for everyone. I especially love their GTX class; it's a dynamic, zone-based workout that keeps me motivated and challenged every time. The Kids Club is a game-changer for me as a parent. My kids absolutely love it! The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging, and they always have fun activities lined up, making it easy to get in a workout while knowing they’re well cared for. The "Parents' Night Out" events are a fantastic bonus! The kids have a blast, and it’s a nice treat to have a few hours for myself. LifeTime has been amazing for our whole family. Highly recommend it!

If I could, I would give it more than just five stars. The entire club is just exquisite. It’s short of a country club really the networking is the relationship you make as far as friendships and lasting relationships that go beyond material wealth it’s a true sense of belonging and a feeling of, a shared goal of health . Derek at the front desk, so gracious and kind that one day when I was in a bind and couldn’t figure out what kind of class I wanted to take And beyond and help guide me in the right direction because of Lifetime I’ve been able to get my life back on track not my health but my whole entire self. I’ve been able to utilize the kids club, the spa, the pool and cardio classes All in which has made me a more well-rounded person. Thank you, Lifetime Fitness

Onelife Fitness is a fantastic gym! The staff is always friendly and professional, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. The gym is consistently clean, and the equipment is well-maintained, which makes working out a great experience. I’ve taken a few yoga classes here, and the instructors have been excellent—knowledgeable, encouraging, and great at creating a calming environment. Overall, it’s a great place for fitness, whether you’re into classes or prefer to use the equipment. Highly recommend!

WOW! I just switched from Lifetime which is 3-4 x's more expensive and this has more! Signing up was so easy! They did a great job upgrading from Gold's gym! Looks so different! Less than $40 monthly includes 2 kinds of saunas, 2 kinds of tanning, red light therapy room, fantastic hydro massage beds, heated swimming pool, jogging track, of course all the workout equipment and space needed to do what you need to do! Of course classes, tennis and so much more!

I specifically signed up for this gym after doing some zumba classes. Yesi is an amazing instructor. She always keeps the class hype and fun! The gym is nice and the staff is great

What can I say? My wife and I absolutely love this gym. Only thing I would change is the terrible lockers they have, just make them rectangular please! Oh also, please get more of the tiny rubber slam balls. You used to have one and it vanished.

Good and clean gym. The associates are attentive and welcoming. The trainers are respectful of other members. Cons: The restrooms need an upgrade. The free weight and machine area is a little less adequate compared to other Onelifes.

My experience here far exceeded my expectations! This place is all things fabulous and a true hidden gem. I’m so happy I found this spa in Woodstock! I received the prenatal massage and it was incredible. During the whole experience I felt so comfortable and relaxed. I’m already booking my next massage in a month and even exploring their other services like manicure and pedicure to try out. This place can be your one stop shop for all your personal relaxation needs!

My husband gifted our daughter and me with a visit to The Spa at Holbrook in Woodstock, GA for a full body massage. We had a fantastic experience!. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff was extremely welcoming and polite. Both massages were great! And my daughter and I both had a very similar feeling of not wanting to leave the massage room. We certainly enjoyed the very cozy and comfortable meditation room while chatting and sipping into our complementary champagne flute. The use of the sauna was also complementary. And we spent a good time in it. The whole facility was spotless clean. Thank you all! We’ll be back! Ana and Barbara

Brittany was amazing!!! I’m always skeptical about using a new hair professional with my natural curly hair but she did not disappoint!!! I can’t wait to go back. The ladies at the front were super sweet as well. The place is so inviting. I can’t wait to try out the other services they have to offer.

Stephanie at the Spa at Holbrook is amazing. I came in for a color correction service to return my hair back to its natural color after years of highlighting. She did an amazing job and I love it! I can’t say enough about it. I would recommend her and will be a repeat customer!

The staff here are amazing! Each and everyone of them from the front desk with Jameson then Stephanie as the Spa Director and least with my anesthesia-Bailey. The facilities were emasculate. The robes were so comfortable to lounge in while we waited. The food was a nice touch. It was a fantastic experience for my girls as a christmas present that is a lifetime memory.

Very enjoyable lifting here. Coaching staff is superb, and I made significant progress on my Olympic lifts in a short amount of time. Workouts are assigned through TrueCoach, and you can record weights, progress pictures, or personal notes. Highly recommend checking this one out!

Cherokee Barbell is a phenomenal gym and will tailor your programs to your personal goals. The head coach and owner, as well as all of the other coaches on duty are attentive and will provide helpful advice no matter how many people are in the gym at a time. At my time there I crushed my personal records and improved my strength tremendously. And you will find yourself surrounded by other like-minded individuals that will lift you up as well.

I started a year ago with Ayse and Cherokee Barbell. I was new to Olympic Weightlifting, but was eager to learn. As a Masters lifter and remote athlete I started off using TrainHeroic and lifting 3 days a week with her guidance. As I got stronger I made the decision to compete and Ayse became my coach. I love the programming and her attention to detail. I competed twice last year and qualified for US Masters in April. If wasn't for Ayse and Cherokee Barbell this would not be happening. If you are looking for an incredible place to train, in person or remotely, with a knowledgeable staff this is the gym for you!

From the moment I walked in, felt welcomed by not only coaches, but clients who were training. Excellent coaching and helped me so much with queues to continue to perfect cleans and snatches. Being at a functional gym that does OL, I never realized how much technique goes into OL, but the coaches broke it down so well I can still hear their voices when I am lifting at my gym. 10 out of 10 for this facility!

I have had phenomenal Olympic weightlifting coaching and nutrition coaching at Cherokee Barbell. The owners are professional, attentive, and take care of their athletes like family. Youth, adults, older adults, and all athletes new or experienced to weightlifting (Olympic or Powerlifting) are welcome here. I’ve known Coach Ayse for years and count her among my friends as well as my weightlifting coach.

Candice has helped me so much in postpartum recovery! After 7 weeks pp I was in so much pain still and could barely walk a quarter of a mile. After my first few visits and staying on top of my exercises I am now able to walk 2+ miles with no problem! I am so thankful I found this facility, and Candice has been amazing to work with--her can do attitude makes it such a pleasant experience! The office staff are extremely nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Women First if you are in the area!

I am so thankful I chose Women First Rehabilitation for treatment! I had been in so much pain and beginning to lose hope that I'd ever be pain free. I felt an improvement after just the first visit! I'm now completely free of pelvic pain and have a full understanding of the exercises I can do at home to remain pain free. Every provider in the clinic has such a passion for the work they do, and they are so compassionate and kind and knowledgeable! From the moment you walk into the clinic and are greeted by the front-office staff, you feel cared about! It's a peaceful and calm environment and you never feel like just another number...they truly take time to listen to you, educate you, and care for you as an individual! I am so thankful to have found Women’s First. I’m currently pregnant and have been working with Candice. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I had been seeing a pelvic floor PT at a different practice but didn’t feel like I got much from the experience. After just a few sessions with Candice, I truly feel heard, I feel like my issues are being addressed, and that she’s truly helping me prepare for a better pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.

Dr. Sara was able to help me immensely! I came in after ending up in the er from intense abdominal and pelvic cramping. They listened to my symptoms and the details of when the pain comes and goes and we were able to start a round of supplements that same day. The pain was coming every month like clockwork, but since my first appointment in August, I have had no pain. I can’t recommended them enough. I felt understood and like everything I brought up was being carefully considered, never overlooked. Many thanks to the Dr. Sara and Candice!

I absolutely love this practice. I am in the third trimester and getting services with Candice. She is amazing. She goes above and beyond to answer questions and emails (even after visits). She actually listens and cares as well as works collaboratively for best results! I love that she is able to incorporate therapeutic yoga techniques also! Highly recommend.

Nicole is absolutely amazing and born to do this work! I can go in and on about this woman’s many versatile talents, but basically if you go see her, you will walk out the door feeling a lot better in all aspects - mind, body, and soul. I had the best integrative bodywork session today and left feeling amazing! However, I could say that whatever service you choose with Nicole, you won’t be disappointed and will be better off for it. I highly recommend working with Nicole. Coaching sessions with her have been insightful & practical. Nicole has a gift for quickly getting to the heart of the matter. Another great Reiki session with Nicole. I didn't know this was possible, but it was even better than my last session with her. Even though she is already amazing, Nicole is constantly working to learn new techniques and better herself and her practice. My session with Nicole helped to heal years of hurt and pain that was festering inside of me, and my close friends and family could immediately notice a difference in my voice and my spirit. I feel lighter, happier, forgiven and forgiving. I do not even live in Georgia anymore, but anytime I am remotely close to Nicole's studio, I make a point to try and get a session with her. Nicole is a truly gifted person who genuinely cares about those she treats. Always a blessing to have a Reiki session with her.

I was going through some things in my life and a friend of mine recommended Nicole's Reiki Sessions. I am still a newbie when it comes to energy work, but the second Nicole and I started talking I instantly felt very comfortable with her. She is very easy to talk to and made me feel very welcomed in her studio. This session was more powerful and meaningful to me than the 8 weeks of therapy I went to. I wish I had known about this type of session before investing into therapy. Nicole was great and sent over the notes her and I discussed that she observed over my session. I definitely will book another session again this year.

Nicole is the best yoga instructor I've found! Each class feels like an experience. I attended her Reiki & Restore workshop and learned so much! You can't go wrong with her!
