Best Gym near Waukegan, Illinois

We took our 3 boys to the pool. The kiddie area was great for my - almost 2 year old. He loved going down the slide. We went into the warm pool (90⁰) when family swim opened up! Price was right for 2 hours of swimming! Locker rooms and changing rooms were clean.

This multimillion dollar project did not account for for the blinding sun cascading on the green court. Like one necessary shade will do this justice. Refs or the players can’t see. This is mandatory Especially when people have to pay $10 each for admission

Very expensive. If you are serving the community. One thing I don't like is, if you choose to cancel your membership with them. They will not accept you as a member for one whole year. Please make me understand the logic behind this.

The facility is nice. It has 4 full courts for basketball and a walking track up above. The place itself is super cold so bring a blanket. The staff made me walk back out of the building and go in a different door. That wouldn’t be a big deal but I am an amputee and on crutches and the way they made me walk was snow covered and icy. I could have just walked across the lobby but they didn’t give me that option. It’s also $8 to get in to watch 2 games.

This place allows these people to freely take peoples basketballs and they do nothing about it. When you go yiu have to lock everything up or it’ll be stolen. What a joke.

This place has taken a ugly turn for the worst! Most of the weights are scattered all over the gym. The machines are now stuffed into a footprint so small, you have to be careful not to crash into other gym goers. The lack of cleaning supplies is insane! Smells like musty swimming pool water soon as you get in the door. Broken, outdated equipment. Last but far from the least, the lazy employees that are technically supposed to maintain the integrity of operations; do NOTHING. Not even answer questions regarding memberships. They basically just there so nobody can sneak and get a free workout. “Front desk security”

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the treatment my friend and I received from your staff on October 7, 2024. I have been a member of your gym since 2023 and brought my friend along today using a free day pass that was supposed to allow him access to the facilities. Unfortunately, two members of your staff refused to honor the free day pass and insisted that my friend pay $20 to enter. This behavior was both unexpected and highly disappointing, as the free day pass should have allowed my friend entry without any charge. We were treated in a manner that felt disrespectful, and the experience left both of us feeling unwelcome. As a loyal member, I expect better treatment and a more professional approach from your staff. I kindly request that this situation be reviewed, and that proper action is taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

Fun environment, great workout. Edward was a great help as a trainer. Would 10/10 recommend🤙🏽 I actually felt worked out in the areas that I was targeting rather than just sore all over. Ernest is also one of my fave trainers! Always making me laugh and giving the best workouts for me and my friend that leave us sore and happy.

The women's bathroom has gnats or fruitflies in the shower. There are pretty much no shelving for your supplies either. It's pretty sardine crowded with machines and you can tell the people are there for the name, not to work out. Lots of young people just waltzing around if that's the kind of gym you want.

Upon entering the gym I had the most kind welcome from the small young girl with the bow at the front desk, all smiles and very kind. All staff was fantastic and gym was amazing, highly recommend!!

A great place for the kids to learn how to wrestle the owner is very patient and plans a lot of different things for the young people

I loved it, it has places to exercise and it also has shelter and there is much more

Always appreciate the cleanliness and attentive staff. While there are few things that need improvement (lack of sanitizing stations) the day time manager Jordan and his crew make up for it with being on top of cleaning and making the place a great planet fitness to workout at!

The staff keeps the gym very clean, but they seem to only focus on cleaning and not on enforcing rules. Every time I'm there, at least 4 or 5 people are blasting music with no headphones. Staff does nothing to stop it. It's awful and distracting

This gym can get you can get a full body workout with all the machines they have. It has more cardio than weight lifting machines, but the option is there for strength building. The staff is friendly and helpful. The locker rooms are nice. I really enjoy the massage chairs they have for premium members. What stops me from giving it a 5 star review is how crowded it can get at times. You'll find yourself waiting in literal lines to use the bench press machine if you come in at certain times of the day. Aside from that, this gym is great. I recommend it for someone who wants athletic improvement to their body.

Great Service I love how everything is always so clean. Just watch out for the front door. The Glass is so clean it appears not to be there. Seams like Management is doing a great job here.

The managers and staff are so welcoming. The facility is always clean. Great place!!
