Best Gym near Stowe, Pennsylvania

I used to be a member of LA Fitness for 7 years until 2020. I have made recent visits but am not impressed enough to come back. The current layout of the equipment seems too cluttered. The gym is also way to quiet to inspire someone to workout. I literally almost fell asleep on my last guest visit. I also don't understand how they have a full indoor cycling studio but have not recruited any instructors to host classes. The cycling class attendance has been on the decline for the last 10 years. Now, their group fitness schedule has zero spin classes listed for the week. Such a waste of opportunity. These classes used to be completely full. I have since went to Crunch fitness and have never been happier.

Really no problems with the gym or staff except what I'd consider 2 large ones. First off more than once I've come 30-45 minutes before closing to find the doors locked (with people still working out inside) I understand there's an issue with people staying to late but what does that have to do with people that wanna get a quick workout in that will leave when it closes ? My other issue is the water dispenser that claims to have a filter tastes horrible making me suspect they just change the light saying the filters changed, for what they charge for a membership I'd expect to be able to at least be able to get acceptable drinking water.

I just started here a week ago but so far it’s nice. The pool is the reason that I chose this gym. If you are already familiar with the equipment, and don’t need a trainer, the price is great! Since I have always been a clean person, I love the fact that there is hand sanitizer and antibacterial spray located throughout the facility, including a table at the front door, where each member can take a bottle with them as they work out. I will change this as I learn more.

Over all it a pretty typical gym. I been an off and on member of la fitness. It has gotten better over the years. Has all the equipment u need to help. It not the cleanest gym but it dose the job. La dose have a lot to offer, pool sauna, basketball court,training, group training.

I would have gave it more stars but I'm a little upset I signed my girl up for a personal trainer new years eve paid the money everything it took a day ago after I called up for him to reach out to start the training what really upsetting is he never apologized or gave a reason on why he didn't reach out for Monday session
