Best Gym near Rutherford, New-jersey

I just joined this gym and I am so very happy! Upset with myself that I didn’t join when it first opened. It is so clean and neat. Nothing is lying around. Lee the manager is a great person. Donna the spin instructor and all the other class instructors are amazing! I’m so very happy here! The front desk is very friendly and helpful! I cannot say enough.

This is definitely a great affordable gym. The equipment is super clean and organized! Which is hard to find around the area. I definitely recommend trying their shakes, super delicious. Thursday’s all shakes are 50% off, awesome! Great place and wonderful employees. I been attending the gym for about 2 years now.

I was never gym person until I started my 7 day free trial. Love the dedication to the sanitary and positive energy. This was what drew me in as a beginner. The classes are extra. Highly recommend Donna’s spin class. There is so much that I can say about this gym. I truly cannot express how lovely this environment is. As a women, as a beginner, as a human being, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Really, really hate to leave a negative review, but my husband Bryan and I are at a loss for where to turn. We joined this gym in July and signed up for 1 month of personal training with the GM, Lee. He signed us up for ONE month of training with 4 sessions/month. He canceled 1 of those first 4 sessions and our credit card was continuously charged for 2 more months worth of sessions, nearly 700$ worth of personal training that we never received nor signed up for. We’ve disputed this charge multiple times and they keep charging our card again. After speaking with the GM, Lee, multiple times over a period of FIVE MONTHS- with refunds promised over and over… and over again. We’re at a loss of over 700 dollars for services that were never received. It sucks because we thought very highly of Lee when we met him. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING. You won’t receive what is promised and you’ll keep getting charged even after canceling and you’ll be promised refunds that you’ll never get back. We also have canceled our membership and joined another gym down the road the moment these issues began… It sucks because it’s a nice gym with kind staff and very well kept with great fitness classes.

I have had a wonderful experience at Elite. It’s conveniently located next to Route 17 and is open all hours. I absolutely love Donna and Kathy. Their energy and the way they make you feel makes you want to come back all the time. I feel like a family environment every time I walk in the door. Very accommodating and friendly environment.

When my old gym closed, I was really nervous about finding a new place where I’d feel comfortable. I’m so glad I found Body Sculptors in Rutherford! From day one, Ken, the owner, made me feel welcome and encouraged me to settle in. The atmosphere here is supportive, and everyone is so respectful and kind—I’ve even learned a few new tips from other members! The meal plan they offer is super convenient after a workout, which I really appreciate. This gym has truly become a home away from home and has made it easy to stay consistent on my wellness journey. The equipment is great, but it’s the overall vibe and energy that make Body Sculptors stand out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive, motivating gym experience!

I joined Body Sculptors a little over a year ago. The owner, Ken, is really friendly and helpful. I feel very comfortable working out here. There are so many unique machines, and they are always updating and keeping things fresh with new classes andgym challenges. The anime decor is another plus. Really happy and thankful to have such a fantastic gym in the heart of Rutherford!

My experience with body sculptors has been great, everyone there is very kind and helpful with any questions you might have. Personal trainer Vic has been fantastic at helping me achieve things that I have struggled for a long time on.

I love this gym! The location is top notch & includes free parking, they have any piece of equipment you could possibly need (and more) and everyone is really friendly. Unlike many other gyms in the area, it’s pretty much never overcrowded. The owner Ken is always available to answer questions or make suggestions if you ask. I also really appreciate that no one has ever tried to upsell me something I don’t need. And best of all, adorable gym mascot Marco is ready to hype you up!

My husband and I have been training here since May 2023 and we are so happy we joined. Ken (owner) provides a welcoming, clean, and professional atmosphere for folks of all fitness levels. The equipment is top-notch, with unique pieces and all equipment is well maintained. The trainers on the floor are kind and the vibe in the gym is positive and energetic. Ken has done a great job of creating a motivating and fun atmosphere for all. He also has the most Recovery Therapy equipment (saunas, red light therapy, cold therapy, ice baths etc.) I have ever seen in a gym. The private parking lots in the back are very convenient. We highly recommend this gym.
