Best Gym near Reynoldsburg, Ohio

Lotsa Car break-ins around East side of Columbus, hotels, & YMCA. The park lot is lighted and security cameras. Do NOT park on the north side Overflow lot by the river/trail. The Y is the best facility around tho for fitness! Use The app for classes &schedule. the weight room is huge, tons of cardio fitness and a state of art spinning room/classes. The pool is perfect for Triathlon training/lap swim and fun kids pool areas. They did it right and it’s so much cheaper than Lifetime fitness which will not put in aquatic to their facility!!

I swim laps several times a week at the Reynoldsburg Community Center. The pool area and locker rooms are clean. The employees are helpful and polite. My husband and I utilize the facility several times a week. It has helped us stay in shape!!!!

We love the new facility in Reynoldsburg. Clean and very friendly smiling staff! Our family exercises here Monday- Friday together. We enjoy the outdoor pool and water slide (seasonally) and indoor pool (year-round). We love that we don't have to reserve the pool anymore. This is a great place! I love the Acess for All membership that helps those who are struggling financially! What a blessing!

I enjoy practicing yoga at the YMCA for its calming and rejuvenating effects. The supportive environment and variety of classes offered at the YMCA enhance their yoga experience, helping me improve flexibility, balance, and mental clarity. Yoga at the YMCA also provides an opportunity to connect with a welcoming community while fostering overall well-being.

Tess and her women on weights class is awesome. Has been great for getting back into weight lifting and she doesn't just give generic exercises with no modifications. She keeps an eye on all of the participants and will modify as needed, but also push you to do more if you are not pushing yourself.

Amazing but be prepared due to the nature of the equipment great and never rusty equipment and take the not slamming the weight as a challenge drop everything slowly and gently.

I have been to several Planet Fitness locations across the country, and this was the worst one that I have ever been to. My unpleasant experience was due to the unprofessionalism of the employees. I went to the Planet Fitness in Reynoldsburg, OH on 01/16. My first unpleasant encounter was with a supervisor. I bring my laptop with me so that I can do some schoolwork prior to my workout. I sat in the front reception area at one of the tables and proceeded to begin my work. The female supervisor approached me and asked how long I was going to be. I advised her that I would not be long and that I was just working on some schoolwork. She replied that she would give me an hour and then I would need to move. That was very strange to me because I've never had any location take issue with me using my laptop. I asked her was it against any rule to use my laptop and she simply replied that "it was unusual for anyone to use a laptop." Not wanting to make an issue, I agreed to the one hour limit. After an hour, I proceeded to start my workout. Once I was finished, I entered the Black Card area to finish up the remainder of my schoolwork with the hopes of not being bothered. A male employee then approached me and stated that I could not be on the phone while I was in the Black Card area but since there were no other members using any of the amenities, that I could finish my call. I said OK and proceeded to conclude my conversation. No longer than 5 minutes later, a third female employee approached me and stated that I couldn't be in the Black Card area if I wasn't waiting to use one of the facilities. I asked her was not the couch part of the facilities and she stated no. Exasperated, I simply left the location. I have not felt this harassed by a business in recollection. Terrible customer service.

I like this location. It seems to be ran pretty good. Could use a little more cleaning in the restroom but, otherwise it's fine.

This is a great 40+ gym. The pool and land have great classes. It seem like they are always adding new things. Great place to work out

I enjoy the variety of activities. The staff is always friendly, helpful and they make visits fun. The facility is clean and nicely decorated. Parking can sometimes be challenging, but a few extra steps is good exercise. I am so happy to have a place to exercise conveniently close to my home.

I've been a member for a few years now and love it. I joined because of the pool. I have arthritis and need a hip replacement, so walking and swimming in the pool are easy on my joints. I also like the fact that there is also exercise equipment and weight machines. The classes are also great! The staff is friendly and the facility is very clean.

I have been to the Harcum center many times. The center is always very clean and the ladies at the front desk are very helpful if any issues arise. The equipment area is very neatly organized, the pool is always immaculate and the locker room is always clean and the towels are always stocked, it is nice to have lockers provided, just remember to bring your own lock. I highly recommend checking the Harcum center out.

The work out machines are powered by air, making it easy to adjust the resistance on the fly. The yoga classes are great and are offered in a variety of levels. They gave some treadmills as well. The locker rooms are clean and have a couple showers. Bring your own lock.

The owners are incredibly down to earth and good people. The gym itself is high quality, and rarely do you have to wait for a bench or a bar. Everyone there is supportive, not a single judgmental soul. Since it's a 24 hour gym, it's incredibly convenient. 10/10

Love this place! 24hr access, everything you need at the gym, including crossfit training equipment. Never a wait for anything (I do go at 6am). I've already got a couple of friends to join and planning on more!

24 hour access!! the owners and environment is amazing. great for any age or skill level! college/high school athletes, get in with these trainers!

Charles can work with anyone, he is very motivating and encouraging. He is able to custom tailor programs for all fitness levels.

I really love this gym! Skyler is very knowledgeable in personal training. He is attentive to his clients and always corrects everyone's form in every class to maximize the exercise and prevent injury. Skyler also suggests stretches and exercises to help with injuries. His protege and assistant, Niaa, is a breath of fresh air. She welcomes everyone with her bubbly personality, which livens up the environment. I would recommend Be Great Gym to anyone looking for a new gym.

I honestly don’t want to write this because than more people will know about this lovely safe space! But yeah it’s great.. Skyler the owner is super helpful and easy going. The people here are super respectful and nice. It’s been my first day and i already feel like family!! This gym has everything you need!

I’ve been going to Be Great Gym since November 2023. At first I thought I would do 6 months and be “done”. You’re never “done”, it’s a change in your lifestyle. Skyler and his team definitely help you get where you want to be and beyond, they will push you beyond your limits. It’s not easy, it’s a process and you will be held accountable. They can’t do it for you. YOU HAVE TO MAKE TIME and it will NOT happen overnight. I treat it like a doctors appointment, it’s one hour a day. Anyone can exercise, but here you will learn how to exercise properly to prevent injuries. Skyler teaches the proper technique, me tells me my weaknesses, helps me work at them and applauds my strengths. I’m feeling healthier, have lost some weight, gained more muscle and I can tell there is a change. He has started this gym giving his whole heart, money, time and sacrifice. This is his process and it’s growing! All these other places just want your money, Skyler wants you fit and healthy. These kids (elementary to college) come in and have fun, learn how to be healthy, how to “be a team”, build confidence to be in society! There are adults here too and we have just as much fun as the kids!!! And sometimes out work them! 😉 Don’t waste your time and money on places that will not invest in You and your health. You need to invest in you and Skyler and his team will help you get there.

i’m a d1 athlete and he trains the best out of all of my d1 trainers that i have ever had. this gym makes me feel comfortable and pushes me to my full potential! i would recommend be great gym to everyone who wants to see results and be pushed!!
