The gym is alright. The bathrooms are always clean and the workers are cool. This gym has standard machines, a basic array of weights, and a standard cardio area. They also have a sauna, a pool and provide classes throughout the week. For the price I am paying, I’d expect for the weights to be where they’re supposed to. I also don’t see the machines being wiped down. There are employees who clean the machines, but I’d appreciate for the machines to be cleaned more frequently throughout the day. Also, as of this past month, the gym has been so packed to the point where it significantly increases the duration of one’s workout. But, hopefully, this may change within the next month or so. That being said, the atmosphere here is much better than a Planet Fitness and is one of the main reasons why I continue to be a member at this gym.

Very nice, clean gym in the Bronx. Great location for the entire family with their daycare, pool and swim classes. Donavan is excellent, come let’s get shredded together!

I’ve been going to LA Fitness for a while now. It’s one of the gyms I feel is the most complete. I can enjoy all the machines they have, and I usually don’t have to wait when I want to use one. They have a sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and excellent group classes. I also think the value compared to the cost is very good. I definitely recommend them 100%.

This LA Fitness location has the best facility and staff! Donovan gave the most informative tour and provided a very transparent breakdown of all monthly dues and membership terms! My parents and I look forward to advancing our fitness goals together at this excellent establishment!

I’ve been a member at this location for over 10 years and I enjoy coming here to workout, but today (1/18/25) I had my wallet stolen and it was locked upstairs in the men’s locker room, and I was not alone. As I was reporting the theft to the manager, another member was reporting a theft. This happened between the hours of 8:30-10:30 a.m. So some dirt bag was able to go up there, cut the locks , on at least 2 lockers, and get away. DON’T leave ANYTHING of value in those lockers!

For the price, you get what you pay for. But, as an old PF employee, I know the standard the gym should be kept in, and the workers here are not as work driven and seem lazy. Management definitely seems very lax, at this location. If you come late, there won’t be any paper towels, nor spray to clean the machines. Speaking to the workers about it, they seemed not to care, as no one wants to work out on a sweaty machine after someone else.

This gym only cares about the money which is crazy because they are ALWAYS out of supplies. No paper towel, bathrooms never stocked but makes sense because their machines are always broken and don’t get fixed within even a month. This is insane and then the nerve when I want to cancel because of these valid issues that never get taken care of and other people complain about too then they want to charge you a EXTRA $60 to cancel. If they are not only about money then idk what is this gym should have been closed a long time ago. HORRIBLE!

I've been coming to this gym for more than 14 years now (on and off) and i really like its cleanness, its welcoming atmosphere, plus the fact that it has its own parking lot and it's pretty accessible though public transportation. Also, it is not that crowded (most of the time), the majority of people behave quite decent (with a few exceptions) and it's located in a (relatively) safe area of the Bronx. My only reason for 4 stars is the schedule, i understand that the gym doesn't operate 24 hours anymore but i feel like it should be opened until 12:00 midnight instead of 11:00 pm during week hours. I would recommend it..!

Lates fees are ridiculously high, I had auto pay and it missed and then was charged $20 more even though I made a payment right away after. I understand it's a contract but at least lower it a little. The late fee cost more than other late fees for like phone bills & stuff.
