Best Gym near New-castle, Delaware

The option of getting into any of the Planet Fitness around the county without any issues. The cleanliness of them inspite of the attitudes 🙄 of some of the workers. Also, the consistency of each location have the same equipment allowing the same workout no matter where you go. Finally, the monthly rate is good 👍 allowing it to fit within my budget 👏 is the closer for me!

When I first visited this location last year summer 2024, it was clean and well maintained. Now 6 months later it’s a bit on the decline. The ladies bathroom is always messy, There’s 2 clogged sinks and 1 stall out of order and it seems like they’re not taking an initiative to fix it because it’s been that way for weeks now.

The gym at 148 Sunset Blvd is spacious. The personnel there is friendly and helpful. I wish that there is a paid Yoga instructor running classes for members like us or make it pay as you go.

A lot of the equipment is constantly breaking and now that its really crowded you have to wait for a machine to be open. I feel like they dont use the space they have efficiently, they could easily double the amount of weight machines and equipment in this location if they rearrange stuff. Only having 4 smith machines is not enough when some people spend an hour doing an entire workout routine hogging up a machine. Staff here are nice though.

The staff are always super nice, but equipment is always broken or Out of Service. The Bathrooms are Always Absolutely Disgusting. And it’s hit or miss if there’s Any paper towels in the dispensers to wipe equipment down.

My daughter has been a part of the Tristate family since she was just 3 years old in 2021, and it’s been amazing to watch her grow—not just in her skills, but in her confidence too! The new coaching staff and ownership are truly dedicated to every athlete’s success, and it shows in everything they do. Tristate isn’t just the most competitive all-star cheer program in the area—it’s a place where athletes of all skill levels can thrive, push their limits, and be part of something incredible!
