Came in before heading back out on the road to workout and reset after some life happening. I have experienced the utmost respect from walking in to asking questions the experience from the staff is something I was not expecting. I went throughout the few days while there so I was able to experience all of the staff from Morning to Morning shift as this Planet Fitness is opened 24 hours minus major Holidays. This facility also meets cleanliness at its highest level. There were however quite a few pieces of equipment that are broken and needing repair. I have been using this gym for 4 days and have not seen any repairs happen as of yet. The gym is a lot larger than expected from the outside view. There are rows upon rows of cardio equipment, weight machines, free weights, and more. The locker room was clean. Down sides of the locker room were one broken shower and they do not refill the soap dispenser often as I came in last night then this morning and it was still empty. Overall the experience was great and I felt welcomed! The reason for the 4 is due to the amount of machines down as well as the soap not being filled in a timely fashion. This gym is joke now! Been coming here for years and the girl behind the desk (Kiera) says I can’t come here any more since I have classic membership which I’ve had for years. Probably only had the black membership for a few months then didn’t need it anymore. I said I’ve been coming to this gym for years when my home gym is Lake Stevens. Once in a while down in Mill Creek. I do not frequent the Mill Creek location often anymore. Then I asked “so you’re not going to let me work out?” Then she says no and begins to literally tell me I’m RUDE. That’s rich coming from someone who’s rude to their members first. This is ridiculous coming from your employee who I’ve never seen before but have been working out at this gym for years. So she was says “that’s policy!” When I’ve been working out at this gym for years with no problems except when Kiera now is implementing “policy”. And she supposedly said she was going to break this policy to let me workout until she calls me RUDE. So yea, what’s your policy at this location then??? So I’m going to be calling corporate to voice my issue and hopefully this gets to the franchise owner then manager of this Planet Fitness. If Kiera is so quick to call your Planet Fitness members RUDE, I wonder how many other members she’s says this to or worse. If you’re trying to find a gym, don’t get a membership here. There’s plenty of other gyms with employees that are not RUDE and actually have some sense of etiquette on how to treat their members.

The maintenance is really going downhill. The machines go in and out of service but many of the handles and seats and bolsters on the exercise/ weight equipment has been damaged or failing for months. Seems like they're always walking new employees through the building, but nobody seems to bother to fix anything. I'm a black card member and it really isn't worth it the way it used to be. They even got rid of the Tootsie rolls. I never really cared for them that much but it just goes to show how cheap they are being.

Decent gym. Has most of what you need. Some machines are out of order because they aren't maintained very well and you can tell. Sometimes staff aren't present at front desk. Pretty average I guess. It's cheap so they got that going for them. Usually pretty busy probably due to that

9/24/24 UPDATE: Its been two weeks and no reply from the social@planetfitness.com email I reached out to after the copy and paste reply I received below. 》In light of the break-in that happened yesterday afternoon (9/2/24) in the men's locker room, and the utter apathy on the part of Maddie the manager and the rest of the staff throughout the entire experience, I will be canceling my PF membership. I'm completely blown away by the fact that a random guy was able to walk into this gym with a bolt cutter hidden under his clothing, purchase a day pass and head to the locker room at 4pm to start cutting off locks and stealing people's stuff, have a fistfight with a gym member before getting in his getting away car and escaping and NOBODY is acting like it's something to be even mildly concerned about. 😱 I thankfully didn't have any valuables in the locker so nothing was stolen but my lock is destroyed and there was zero response on the part of the management or staff to even offer a replacement lock for my visit, much less some kind of reaction more than just a "sorry, it happens" and move on. I fully understand that this is supposedly the busiest Planet Fitness in Washington state, but you can't expect an incident like this to happen and there not be something more than just a casual dismissal and no effort to provide some kind of restitution or even acknowledgment that this is a super sketchy thing to have happen. I have been coming here for only about a month now and was willing to let some of the consistently sub-standard issues like no soap and dirty floors go after notifying the staff, but this is truly the last straw. In lieu of the boilerplate and extremely unhelpful reply from PF that this review will most likely initiate, I'm only writing all this as an FYI to folks who are looking at coming here. I am fully willing to update my review if or when there is some kind of actual effort made on the part of the manager Maddie or corporate to make this right. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is energizing and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer guidance or answer any questions. The equipment is top-of-the-line, with a wide variety of machines and free weights that cater to both beginners and experienced athletes. I’ve never had to wait for equipment, and everything is always clean and well-maintained. What sets this gym apart, though, is the sense of community. Whether you’re attending one of their high-energy group classes or working out solo, the vibe is supportive and motivating. The trainers are not only experts in their fields, but they genuinely care about your progress, making personalized recommendations based on your goals. Michael is the greatest 5 stars all around.

Decent gym, but could use some improvement: 1. Many of the machines are dated & worn. 2. 4 out of 7 of the stair machines are broken. 3. One of the cables has been out of order for 2 weeks. 4. When things are broken they are often missing a sign; you won’t know it’s broken until you attempt to use the machine. 5. The door to the men’s sauna gets stuck. The staff are friendly and often greet you when you come in, & the gym has a great location and amenities. This could be a nice gym if management put more care and effort into maintaining it.

The front desk staff kid was so dismissive and gave me attitude when I asked to freeze my membership. Has no manners or ability to be working there. i’ve been coming here for 3 years and now im reconsidering if ill even activate my membership at this gym again. Only good worker here is Mitchell besides that good luck.

Ive been a member of LA Fitness for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, and I appreciate the variety of equipment available. From free weights to cardio machines, there's something for everyone. The group classes are a highlight for me. And Emily had helped me with my membership and always greets me every evening !!

I felt so disrespected today after making an appointment with the PT manager, Corinne, who ultimately didn’t show up. I waited for about 30 minutes after our scheduled time. We had communicated via text to confirm the appointment, and I informed her I would be about 5 minutes late. She agreed to meet me in the PRT room, but when I arrived, she was not there. I messaged her at 4:20 to let her know I was waiting, but received no response. I left at 4:45 after waiting and saw her by the front desk as I walk out. Dharma, the trainer in the PRT room, was very kind and tried to help. When I arrived, he offered me a chance to join the session, but I declined since exercise is not recommended before the InBody exam. When making the appointment, I was informed that the first exam was complimentary, but nobody ever mentioned that a PRT session was required beforehand. I would have been happy to pay for the exam out-of-pocket. Just a heads-up for anyone wanting to do the InBody exam without the PRT session.

Edit: Ill add another star for the response but it still doesn't make any sense. My kid would love to participate but I am not signing this consent which very broadly allows them to do whatever they want with my childs "likeness" and "images." This business forces you to allow them to use your child’s likeness and allow them to use your child to promote their business. Their system won’t allow you to register unless you agree. MEDIA RELEASE AND CONSENT I authorize Seattle Gymnastics Academy to copy, reproduce or publish my and/or my child’s photograph and/or recorded audio or video, for the purpose of illustration, advertising, display, audio/visual, public relations, and social media purposes. I understand SGA records images of its staff and gymnasts for marketing, fund-raising, educational and training purposes. I hereby grant permission to use my child's image, likeness, and sound of their voice as recorded on audio or videotape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my child's image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my child's likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising out of or related to the use of my child's image or recording. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational and promotional settings within an unrestricted geographic area.

My daughter loves going and I love the instructors! They take the time to make sure the kids are doing the activities safely and mentoring them to do them correctly (as much as possible anyway). Great ratio of kids to instructors

We are so excited about the Mill Creek location. Seattle Gymnastics Academy was an amazing experience for my step daughter. The mentors/teachers were all truly wonderful and helped her with all of her goals in gymnastics and in life. Thank you SGA!

My daughter started at SGA on opening day, about one month ago. We came from a different gymnastics location mainly because this one was so much closer to our home- but the location is only one small part of how much we’re enjoying this switch. The gym is brand new and clean, spacious, safe and organized. The staff are SO friendly- from Josette at the front desk, to my daughters coach Rick (absolutely amazing at what he does, so patient, allows her to have autonomy while guiding her and spotting her along the way) He is such a gentle and kind person. The biggest difference we’ve noticed is how much more variety we are getting with each week, and the progress we have seen in just one month has been mind blowing. At our previous gym, at this age (4/5) they did the exact same obstacle courses every week, zero moving up or progress with anything- it became very monotonous, predictable, and unchallenging. Here at SGA, my daughter seems to leave with a new skill each time. She is constantly trying new things and her coach is clearly focusing on her growth with the time he has her there. We rave about this new gymnastics company, and we look forward to going every week! We feel so lucky to have this just minutes from our home. Thank you Rick, Josette, and SGA!!!

I walk by here on my way to the bus. We watched them transform a lonely, empty space into a bright, colorful place for kids. So nice to see all the kids there now having fun. And they support the community, too. On Wednesdays, if you bring a canned food donation for the local food bank, you can get a discount.
