Yami is amazing! I cannot say enough great things about her... I was intimidated to start as I had not worked out in ages and had many restrictions due to age and health and she took on the challenges with expertise and encouragement! She has been a wonderful support and excellent coach for my return journey into health and fitness! The gym is also incredible - so many options, state-of-the-art well-maintained equipment and everyone, employees, trainers, and members are incredibly nice and supportive! Love this place and these people!!!

I recently visited train station and had an amazing experience! The variety of smoothies and protein drinks on the menu is impressive, catering to all taste preferences. I tried the coconut smoothie bowl and it was incredibly refreshing and delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect smoothie. The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends while also getting an amazing workout! I highly recommend train fuel to anyone looking for a tasty and healthy treat before and after a workout!

I’ve been a member of Train Station Fitness for a while now, and I must say it’s absolutely deserving of a 5-star rating! The owners, George and Demitri, are not just great at what they do; they’re genuinely great people who add a personal touch to the gym experience. The facility is impeccably maintained, always clean and welcoming. This is a big plus for me, as a clean environment is essential for a good workout. They’ve recently expanded their space, and the new additions are fantastic. The basketball court is a great place to unwind and have some fun after a workout. The new spin cycles have added a fresh dimension to the cardio options available. What I love the most about Train Station Fitness is the variety of equipment they offer. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gym-goer, there’s something for everyone. The increase in square footage means more space to move around and less waiting time for equipment—a huge bonus during peak hours. The atmosphere here is always positive and motivating. It’s not just a gym; it’s a community where everyone, regardless of their fitness level, is encouraged and supported. If you’re looking for a gym that offers great facilities, a clean environment, and a supportive community, Train Station Fitness is the place to be!

What a fine facility this is. I have visited the Longmont and Erie rec centers, and this Y is far superior in most ways. It is bright, airy, with welcoming staff and excellent workout equipment. I haven't tried the pool yet, but the gym looks great through the windows, and there are squash/racquetball courts that people were enjoying today. Also, today there was a big class of older people just leaving when I arrived, looking happy. Fine facility!

What are you goals? Mine is to find a swimming pool close to home where I can go after work. My other option was to go to the Centennial Swimming Pool (Longmont rec center) 2 blocks away. I picked the YMCA because it stays open later (07:45 pm vs 03:00 pm). They are both clean and pretty calm. The last option is the main Rec Center building by Ken Pratt in the south side of the City. This facility is further away, the pool is smaller and it is pretty loud because of the kids having fun (however, you get a hamam which is pretty nice). The Rec center is cheaper than the YMCA (couple: $74 vs $91, $204 after one year). On top of that, you have everything on site: dance, Yoga, Fitness, gym, and even a boxing studio. There is also a garden and they sell produce once a week for a very affordable price. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. However regarding specific questions I would recommend you to ask different staff members, some of them are new and might not know everything. CONCLUSION If you like swimming then this is a bargain since you have access to a pool almost empty most of the time.

Nice spot, elevated indoor track, large pool, several areas for cardio/weights. Would definitely go back. Also, friendly staff and free coffee from a local roaster.

I agree with another reviewer- horrible summer camp! Last year, (2023) my 6-year-old granddaughter attended very briefly. We took her out after learning about an employee who went by Miss Liz who told her, when she was lying on her mat at nap time crying quietly because she missed her mom, “ Stop crying! You better stop crying or else!” I’d like to give that woman “or else” if I ever see her. How dare this monster speak to a child in distress like that? My granddaughter is a gentle, small-for-her-age child who causes no trouble. This woman, who has NO business working with kids, also yanked an applesauce my granddaughter was eating at lunch away from her before she was finished and berated her for not finishing “ fast enough.” Shame on this organization for hiring people like this to supervise kids!

A lifelong everyday fitness nut, i joined the Longmont Y about six months ago for its convenience following a move across town. I use the free weights, machines, cardio, spin bike, locker / shower. Love going there. It feels like a strong community and i enjoy knowing other regulars. the Staff is friendly and helpful. Wish they were open a little later on weekends, hot water was a bit more consistent and they updated / added some equipment but overall highly recommend. Thanks to the Staff for their dedication.

Abby has worked with me for about 3 years. She has been a very good help to me and I look forward to my 3x-weekly workouts even though I don't really enjoy exercise. She is very knowledgeable and caring, and watches carefully for good form. She mixes up the exercises and makes a point of getting feedback about how it's going, so she can make appropriate adjustments. The location is spacious, with enough equipment to give the needed variety. Abby's demeanor is always pleasant, with a sense of humor and the kind of involvement that helps you try a little harder.

My exercise program with Abby is great. She customizes it every 6 weeks or so and works with me to build core strength and cardiovascular capacity. I look forward to my classes each week.
